Andy was terrific. He was both knowledgeable and personable. The way he planned the tour kept a long day from becoming tiring and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Although a bit pricey, this tour was worth it to learn so much about Savannah. Would absolutely recommend.

The VIP tour was a fantastic way to appreciate Savannah. Our guide, Adam, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made our 7 hour tour feel like 3. A fun, full day, hitting the main sites in the area.
Our guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable. Bill didn't just drive around and point things out he told the story behind it. He gave us the origin of several sayings that we still use today, like "saved by the bell". You'll have to ask Him where it came from!
Wonderful tour of Savannah and outlying area, Tybee Island. Bill, our guide and driver, was knowledgable about history, architecture and local legends. Highly recommend the private all day tour with time for lunch at your leisure. Thanks, Bill, for a great day touring with you.
Great history, great sights, great guide. Good oversight of the historic events as well as current day Savannah and surrounding islands.
Andy was absolutely wonderful! We loved our VIP tour of Savannah so much! It was the highlight of our trip. His knowledge was incredible and extensive! Andy was so kind and easy to be around too. 10/10
Andy was extremely knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Savannah. Extremely enjoyable experience with a professional guide.
We would give this 10 stars if able! Our tour guide, Andy, was amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable, engaging, entertaining and a natural story teller. He shared information, stories, historical trivia and tidbits throughout. And, took us to a lovely place for lunch - we enjoyed that time just visiting. This tour was well worth the price and the time as it gave us such a terrific overview of the Savannah districts along with the coastal islands and Fort Pulaski. Without the tour we would have not seen as much nor learned as much! If we return to Savannah, we will book any private tours with this company. Laura C
Andy was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide with a clean and comfortable vehicle. My husband and I had been to Savannah several times before, but we learned so many new things and saw incredible sights in the surrounding areas. Highly recommended.
Andy was a fabulous tour guide. We had been several times before, but this tour showed us areas, suburbs, properties, and islands we hadn’t visited before. Each location and landmark came with a wealth of information about Savannah and its fabulous history.
Andy was an excellent tour guide. He was prompt, changed around the tour to accommodate our needs. He was a wealth of information, we enjoyed seeing Savannah with his knowledge and expertise!
We thoroughly enjoyed our VIP Tour of Savannah. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed spending the day with him and learning about Savannah and its history. The tour agenda was flexible and allowed us to spend more time at some locations based on our interests. If you are going to take this tour, I highly recommend doing it on your first day in Savannah. This will give you a great overview of the city and its history. After that, you can plan which locations you want to spend more time visiting while in Savannah.
Our tour guide, Andy, was informative, professional and fun. The tour is a great way to see the Savannah historic district and so much more of the surrounding area all in one tour. The Bonaventure Cemetery was very interesting. It was my first time seeing a castle style Fort and the restoration is amazing. Overall it was a fantastic to see so much of Savannah in one packed tour.
We had the most wonderful private tour with Janine. She was so informative and made the tour very special for our family. She paid extra attention to our elderly mother which was truly appreciated. I would gladly recommend this tour to others.
Great overview of Savannah. Provided insight to what we should return to see the next day
Andy was the best! He's incredibly knowledgeable, super patient, and very easy to get along with. He made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better guide! Highly recommend!
This was a great tour of Savannah and the surrounding area. It hit all of the highlights we were wanting to see. Andy was very knowledgeable and shared very interesting information. I would highly recommend this tour.
Andy was very easy and pleasant to talk with. We had to do the tour backwards than what he normally does due to the Veteran's Day parade. Thank you, all my fellow Veteran's for your service. He didn't miss a beat. He was very knowledgeable, and we went to a lot of historic areas. Being a hayseed from the great state of Iowa, it was truly a joy filled day seeing the different architecture. Seeing the beauty of these old buildings makes you think about how our early settlers lived.
We had a fantastic experience on our all day tour with Bill. Bill was the best! We loved all the places we visited and Bill did a great job of sharing the history of the area. Would highly recommend this tour.
Good activity to do first day. You will be more knowledgeable about what you want to do the remainder of your time in Savannah.
Very informative tour of Savannah Historic district, Bonaventure cemetery, Pulaski fort and Tybee Island with private guide and car. Excellent way to see all major sights within seven hours and without having to worry about logistics. Andy is a great guide and driver- highly recommend!
This was an absolutely incredible day, and we highly recommend Andy and DTours. Andy was responsive, timely, and clear in all communication prior to our tour. Throughout the day, it was obvious how much knowledge he had as he shared well-researched information about Savannah’s colorful and rich history. Andy was an entertaining and interesting guide who was also thoughtful and mindful of us, his guests. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!!! Do NOT miss this tour!!!
A full-day, private tour was the perfect way to become familiar with Savannah. Andy was a tremendous guide -- an endless font of information and a true ambassador for his city and the surrounding areas. Highly recommended!
Bill did an excellent job of showing us Savannah. We had such a great time seeing the city! You won’t go wrong with a tour with this group!
Wonderful overview and got the feel of Savannah with the perfect itinerary, accommodating, personable and knowledgeable guide. Exceeded our expectations in all aspects.
Bill picked us up at our door and off we went on our adventure. You really get to see all Savannah has to offer, and we didn’t feel at all rushed. Bill was wonderful. He shared history and stories of the places we saw as we drove along, and even texted us locations of places to visit or dine after the tour was over. Truly full service and it was so nice just to sit back and relax and not have to worry about how to get from point A to point B, or parking when we do. This is a great tour especially if you are short on days to explore, want to get an overview where everything is located or just want to enjoy the scenery without worry about driving - or all three! Highly recommend!
We spent the day with Andy and couldn’t have asked for a better Tour Guide! We had taken the trolley tours earlier but learned so much more from Andy. Fort Pulaski National Monument was a highlight because Andy walked us through the fort and was very knowledgeable. The drive through the historic district was great and it was like Andy knew the people who lived in the historic homes intimately. I would highly recommend!
Bill was an excellent guide and we saw a lot, learned a lot, and were totally satisfied with our tour. We highly recommend it!
Wonderful experience. Andy spent a lot of time explaining the very interesting history of the area. The city squares were explained in detail. Tybee Island was very cool. Fort Pulaski National Monument was another highlight. Bonaventure Cemetery was rather unique, with many interesting family connections. This was a really fun and informative tour, our adult kids had a great time as well. Almost new van was excellent as well. Great way to learn all about Savannah and its fascinating history.
Andy was awesome. His knowledge and appreciation for Savannah and its history was impeccable and admirable!!! Would def recommend an all day tour!
My mom and I had a great time with the full day VIP tour. There is so much history in Savannah you could not possibly know where to start. This was a great introduction to the area. Full of history. From the historic district to Tybee island our day was packed full. Rose was a great guide!
Andy was an incredible tour guide, showing us all the hidden spots of Savannah. Extremely knowledgeable - he made our private day memorable. I would highly recommend him.
Wonderful tour with Andy. He showed us a ton of places by and we enjoyed the history of all of them. Lunch was amazing. We loved the chicken fingers! Andy has a ton of history to share with you! Thanks. Andy
Andy was awesome. He was personable, entertaining, and informative. The day blew, by it was as fun as it was educational. Must do first day in Savannah so you know what to see and do close up the rest of your stay. Great experience, highly recommend.
This Savannah private full day tour with Andy was wonderful. Andy made Savannah's past come alive and merge with the present. The tour was fun, informative, intriguing, fascinating, moving. Seeing the Bonaventure Cemetery was a poignant journey. It was also a treat to venture to the Fort Pulaski National Monument and Tybee Island light house and ocean pier. The sites and stories and the history and the art and the architectural and natural beauty shine as Andy weaves you through time in a knowledgeable and meaningful tribute. It was so relaxing as everything was taken care of and you can just soak in the experience. Andy makes you feel comfortable from the beginning. A marvelous and memorable day that I highly recommend!
Andy is a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable and personable. We had a delightful day with him. Highly recommend this tour to get a great overview of the city as well as the islands.
What a great overview of the city and environs, just what we sought. The accompanying background and stories were outstanding. Feel like we have been here awhile rather than a short time. Hats off!!!
We did the full day tour, and covered a ton of ground. Andy, our guide, was a walking encyclopedia of Savannah history. He picked us up right from where we were staying and started the tour on beautiful Tybee Island. We then stopped at Fort Pulaski and spent a lot of time walking around the grounds. Then on to Savannah where we visited and learned about many historical sites. I highly recommend this excursion.
Our tour guide, Andy, was excellent! He has clearly thoroughly researched the history of Savannah and shares his passion for this lovely town with genuine enthusiasm. We learned so much about the historic downtown, the outer neighborhoods, Tybee Island, and Fort Pulaski. Highly recommend this tour with Andy as your guide!
Andy was the friendliest and most knowledgeable guide we’ve ever had. It was like touring with a good friend. When we come back we’ll definitely look him up.
It was a smooth day without any problems. Andy took great care of us and showed us more of Savannah than we would have ever managed on our own. He gave us just enough history to keep our interests piqued, but not overwhelm us. My wife and I had a great time and we would both recommend this to anyone visiting for the first time, or that are trying to crunch a lot into one day. We took the tour on our first full day and were able to spend the rest of our time revisiting the areas that we found most interesting.
I had the best day touring with Andy. He is very knowledgeable and entertaining and I learned so much about the city, things that I never would have discovered on my own. Thank you Andy for a great tour!
Andy was our private tour guide all around the town of Savannah and Tybee Island! He put together a lineup that met all of our expectations. His wealth of knowledge and understanding of the city was phenomenal. You could tell he really takes the time to look up the history and know all the stories behind the why things were done! We highly recommend him and you won't ever forget your experience in the beautiful city of Savannah! We had a fabulous time with Andy. You will not be disappointed with this tour. We will book again with Andy when we come back!
The Whole Day. We saw every thing and soaked up the history. We also had a fantastic Tour guide. He was the best part of the day and knew everywhere to go and when . I will do it all again when I return again.
Loved our tour! Janie was knowledgable and tailored our day to meet our needs! Book this tour! You won’t be sorry. Thank you, Janie!
Andy was very knowledgeable, his excitement for Savanah was inspiring. Andy was very easy to be with and had a great place to stop for lunch. Highly recommend this tour.
My adult daughter and I had the best day with Andy on the all day VIP tour. We really got a thorough look at Savannah and it's eclectic history. We had lots of questions and he interacted with us helping us learn and appreciate history. I without hesitation would tell anyone to take this tour. It was a spectacular day.
Bill was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable. He gave us a comprehensive overview of The history of Savannah, both past and present. He was easy to be with and we had a very enjoyable day. One disappointment (not Bill’s fault)…a tour of the lighthouse was to be part of our day but it is closed on Tuesdays. Please don’t schedule full day tours for Tuesdays!
Absolutely 100% recommended this your. It’s worth it to go on a private tour and especially with Bill. He was timely, courteous about opening doors, had an extremely clean vehicle, had water for us. He had so much knowledge to share at each place and took our pictures as well. I can’t say how glad I am that we did this. We only had one day in Savannah and I know there’s so much more, but he hit so many wonderful stops for us. Thank you, Bill!!!
Bill took my sister and me and an old friend all around Savannah in his very nice minivan. He was very knowledgeable. We wanted good southern food for lunch. He had a couple of recommendations. We went to Paula Deans. It was really good and the store was cute. Bill was an excellent guide. He was gracious and kind. This tour suited us perfectly since we had some mobility issues. The Bonaventure cemetery was fascinating.
