The captain was very sarcastic. I asked a question because I want to make sure I was on the right boat so I asked him is this we’re going to take. He turns around behind him and made a comment that the only boat l see was not personal at all. I was only here to ethnicity African-American ethnicity not considered. It was very cold, but she has no control over that. We did not get to see the sunset. I will never do this again. I feel like it was a waste of money.

We had a great trip with Captain John. He structures the trip to maximize dolphin viewing and provides an informative narrative. The excursion is a good value@
Lauren and (Raven) lol and Tanner knew their stuff. I love dolphins so I was excited we saw some.
This tour was fine. It was really rainy and got cut short. But Lauren is a total badass and her boat dog is adorable. I will say, however, that how early you get there to get the boarding voucher does not matter—it’s when you line up to board, whether or not you got a voucher beforehand. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this, and I wound up on the inner row of benches, and most of what I could see was the back of other people’s heads. It didn’t help that many of the tourists were larger folks (no shade—I myself am not a tiny person) who also spread out their belongings on the benches as well. More people could have had good seats if other customers were a bit more polite and smushed together to share the space. I was so glad there were no kids on my tour. I can imagine it would have been quite challenging had there been.
We had such a great experience! We had only seen one dolphin up until the last 30 minutes of the trip where we got lucky and found a pod. However, our entire group discussed how even if we only as the one dolphin, the boat ride and experience itself was still well worth the money! Would highly recommend & we will be coming back next time we visit Savannah.
The sunset dolphin cruise was very nice. I highly recommend it. The staff were very informative and nice.
So relaxing and interesting. Beautiful sunset, sighting of a baby dolphin and a close up of a Bald Eagle!
Jason and Sam were wonderful guides. The water was choppy so they made the safe decision to modify the tour. We still got to see some dolphins while also getting close up views of the giant shipping vessels. Highly recommend.
Wonderful trip. Lots of dolphins and overall great experience.
Booked for my wife’s birthday and she loved it. We saw a lot of dolphins, learned much about the Savannah River and its ecosystem. The captain and his mate were informative and funny. I recommend this dolphin cruise.
Fun and relaxing boat trip. The Captain and his mate (sweet young Lady) were very informative and knowledgeable about their talk as we rode to and from. The dolphins were spectacular and came up pretty close to the boat; we even got to see an alligator in the water! Highly recommend this experience for all ages!
Lot of fun, laid back and worth the money. Just to give you the full picture, it’s basically a big flat boat with benches on each side. Plenty of room, and the crew (Connor and Tanner) was a lot of fun. We saw dolphins right away and had a good time.
Great experience we were lucky enough within 15 minutes to get to see a bunch of dolphins. We had Conner and Tanner and they were great.
We saw many many dolphins:) The guides knew a lot about them It was delightful to learn about the marshes and river as well.
Our trip was amazing! Connor ( captain) and Skyllar were amazing and knowledgeable guides! We saw several dolphins throughout our 2 hour trip. We had a great time and the price was very reasonable for the experience you receive! We would highly recommend the sunset dolphin eco cruise!!!
It was really a beautiful experience to watch the dolphins in the wild. The captain of the boat Connor and the crew member Skyler was awesome 👌.
The boat ride was excellent. The captain and tour guide were very knowledgeable and we got to see lots of dolphin action! It was a very peaceful and scenic ride and a great way to wrap up the day.
Captain windows was an excellent guide!!! He did not give up until we saw multiple dolphins!!!!
It was an awesome experience. We enjoyed it 100%.Seeing the dolphins playing and learning alot about our history on sites that were still there from the civil war and other beautiful sites. The captain and 1st mate were very knowledgeable. Enjoyed this opportunity with them. You will not be disappointed.
My family was in the Savannah area for a family reunion and wanted to do something different and exciting. We decided on a two hour river Cruise. Amazing, exciting, eventful and full of history facts and wonderful sights! We saw dolphins 🙂🐬🐬🐬
Connor and Savvy were our tour guides. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Connor added a lot of humor to the tour. We did find the dolphins and other wild birds. They also explained what was going on around us with the working boats and the marshes. They brought out fossils that have been found nearby as well.
We had a great time. Captain was very informative, and knowledgeable about the Savannah river. We saw lots of dolphins. Great experience!
Great way to spend a couple hours on the water. Conner and Skylar were great on the boat and very informative about the ecosystem.
We had an amazing time on our dolphin tour! The captain and crew were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so much fun. We were lucky enough to see several dolphins up close, and it was such an unforgettable experience. The boat was clean, the ride was relaxing, and the crew made sure everyone had a great view and learned interesting facts about the dolphins and the local area. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and memorable adventure. Thank you for making our day so special! Thank you Connor and Skylar!
Nice mellow sail we were warned we may see some dolphins and may not. But the captain and first mate told us a lot about the area birds plants trees marsh area. We did see dolphins. We also were told how the river was made s Deeper to allow bigger ships thru and we were shown fossils
Great music and informative about the Savannah area.
Highly recommend! I did this experience two weeks in a row with friends visiting from out of town. The crew is funny and very knowledgeable and we saw dolphins both nights. I learned a lot about the river and the industry along it. AND…the sunsets were breathtaking both nights. Book this tour! You won’t regret it!
We enjoyed this tour with my family the team are really friendly and educated.. The sunset was amazing and we had the chance to see the dolphins
We had so much fun watching the dolphins playing. It was a wonderful experience to end our vacation.
So fun and educational! We loved our guides, they were funny but also really knew their The sunset views were stunning, and we got yo see lots of dolphins. stuff. I would go again, and would definitely recommend to others.
Saw dolphins and a nice sunset. Very informative about the area and wildlife. Capt. Krista and crew were wonderful.
This was an amazing experience. I took my daughter for her 17th birthday celebration and it was nothing short of Amazing. We learned some interesting information about the waters of the port canal, the ecosystem, and much more from the captain and vessel mates. The music was some great classics from arid Stewart and Toto. We loved every second of it. The Sun on the water, the beautiful sky during sunset despite the clouds, and so much more. We are definitely going to recommend and set sail again with more family.
Very relaxing and brought me tranquility just looking out at the dolphins and other wildlife and watching the sunset definitely recommend for anyone that appreciates nature and a relaxing boat ride while your tour guide educates you about the dolphins and other fun facts.
My 15 year old daughter and I had a great time. No sunset because of clouds, but we saw alot of dolphins and some other wildlife. Connor and Tanner we great. Knowledgeable funny and great energy.
Delightful guide and excellent evening on the water.
We had an amazing experience learning a lot about the area’s history natural resources and wildlife. Spotted several dolphins. The captain made sure to slow the boat and turn for everyone to get to see them. I got video so I can clip the photos of dolphins later. We saw cargo ship leaving the harbor. The sunset was beautiful and it was really a great family experience.
There are many different things to see along the river. We did see dolphins but the clouds covered the sunset. Skylar and Conner did a great job informing us of everything along the way.
Our captain and mate were excellent guides! Full of cheer and joy, while at the same time focused on safe navigation. Luckily, we were treated to an exuberant show of dolphins within the first 15 minutes of our trip! What a way to cap off a warm Savannah day. If they could have ordered a more colorful sunset, things would have been more than perfect.
The tour was great. After all of our tours getting canceled earlier this year in Hawaii, we had low expectations, lol. But, not only did this tour HAPPEN, we found the dolphins almost immediately. The pod was super friendly, swam around and under the boat and we even got to see some riding the waves from a container ship. Tanner and Connor were both funny and friendly. 10/10 recommend.
Great experience! We saw plenty of dolphins during the tour and the captain did a good job of continuously rotating the boat so everyone on each side would have the chance to see them. We got to see a pod of manatees as well which was an added bonus.
Wonderful experience. Saw lots of dolphin's. Beautiful sunset!! Great narrators. We even got to see container ships which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend!!
Conner, our Captain was so knowledgeable about everything dolphin. We saw so many dolphins I lost count! He had music playing when he wasn’t talking that was so appropriate. It was fairly cloudy so the sunset wasn’t brilliant but still pretty. We learned so much. Enjoyed our time on the water.
Connor was very knowledgeable about local wildlife & ecosystems. He was also quite personable and fun.
Fantastic tour. Super educational and we saw tons of dolphins AND 2 bald eagles, as well as some other wildlife. The tour guides are great. Ended with an epic sunset. Dolphins and sunsets are never guaranteed, but you could tell that the tour guides really wanted to deliver on those two things. 😆 As someone who plans events for groups I also understand that pressure, and our trip ended with a memorable evening thanks to this tour!
Unfortunately, our tour did not see any dolphins, though I knew that was a possibility. The captain and mate were very nice but wish they were more informative about the area and talked more as we spent over 30 minutes just floating around the dock we were disembarking from. Since we knew there were no dolphins around that part of the river, I would have rather left the boat as the seats were not that comfortable.
This was such a fun experience to see Savannah from the water and learn all about the ecosystem and how it all works together. The staff was great with the small kids that we had in our group, including them in the sighting of dolphins, and pointing out the different birds. We had a wonderful time and spotted so many dolphins on this tour, it was very exciting!
Despite gray clouds and the threat of rain we took off on a relaxing and informative voyage down the Savannah River. Complete with dolphins!! Both the captain and her assistant had both educational and informative material to impart about the port, the salt marshes, and the history of this city. The trip was capped off with a lovely sunset over the city.
Truly Great evening on the river! We saw a small alligator, two bald eagles, and several playful dolphins pods. Our Capt and crewmate, Tanner, relayed much history of the area as we cruised around the river in search of wildlife. We loved the relaxing atmosphere. The sun setting thru the clouds was a winner as well.
It is an amazing cruise. We saw a lot of dolphins! The crew members were not only very knowledgeable but entertaining as well.
Our captain Connor and his first mate did a very good job of finding things for us to see. I wasn't expecting a big alligator! The dolphins put on quite a show for us. Even though the weather brought some challenges (rain at times), the crew pivoted and provided a great experience. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see some marine wildlife and a good view of River street.
