Great way to familiarize yourself with the city and loved the flexibility of the hop on/hop off feature!

Was a great way to learn a little about the town. We were afraid to get off on stops because it seemed to take a long time for the next trolly to come and pick up or it was full or there was a private charter and not picking up people. Was odd that the private charter members were able to use any bus.
This is a must for first time visitors to Savannah. We "hopped on" for the entire route wanting to get acquainted with area, then "hopped on and off" after that in areas we wanted to explore. "Pops", our driver for the majority of our day was phenomenal.
The quality of your experience will depend on your tour guide. If you aren't getting the historical experience you are looking for don't hesitate to get off and just get on another bus. Its took up 3 different guides buse to go from average to exceptional.
We did this tour the first day to get an overview. Did the complete tour and then the second time through we got on and off all day.
To me the price is great. I planned to get off at 3 of the 16 stops according to the map but then added the distillery 3 hours into the day. I think this a great excursion to have for anybody who enjoys narration of history at each stop, walking leisurely and taking pictures all in one day. I love that it’s roughly a 20 minute wait from one drop off to the next pick up time at the same stop. Clearly I’ve never done this excursion and I recommend it providing good weather.
Big E was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable about the history of the city and sooo funny! He even broke into song on several occasions. We ended up staying on the tour through all the stops so we didn’t miss anything he said. We then got off and explored based on his recommendations.
Best way to see the city. We chose to ride the whole loop one time first (about 90 minutes) and then chose which stops we wanted to get on and off. Spent the whole day! All of the trolley drivers we encountered were knowledgeable and friendly.
Biggie and Pops were the best! So fun and educational!! Great way to see and learn about Savannah. We hopped off at the Riverwalk and explored and got back on 2 hrs later.
Did 2 day pass. First day, we took the full 1 1/2 hour circuit to get familiar with the historic district of Savannah. The figured out our hop on and hop off places for the 2 days. Our guide/driver, Big E, was entertaining and very knowledgeable of the history of Savannah.
The Hop on Hop off Trolley was great. We rode the entire loop with Cindy the driver. Cindy was very informative and also funny. We then used the trolley as transportation to different locations. Highly recommend taking this trolley.
Enjoyed riding with Cami. Planned to ride a second time to get off at some places but D.A. seemed to take a different route. He gave some good information but talks too fast and loud.
Great way to learn the layout of Savannah and learn about the city’s history . Tour guides vary, one was hard to understand. But Dom was amazing! She did a great job and was entertaining too.
Informative, convenient, easy to access and made our Savannah trip pleasant when we toured the historic sections of town.
Tour guide lily was the best get I formative learned a lot about Savannah ! Such a great experience! Def do the hop on hop off def worth it !
This is a must do for first time visitors to Savannah. We enjoyed getting the lay of the land that this tour provided. There is plenty of time to explore the city and many convenient places to return to the trolley.
This is a great way to see the city! You get to see all the major sites but slightly different with each trolly driver every time you get back on. We had a blast with Shavay!
Pops was the best! Funny, interesting and informative
Had an excellent experience with this tour. The key is the opportunity to jump off when you wanted and spend time at different spots. We got off 3 times and then the last time stayed on until market place. The interactive map was quite helpful to see when the next trolly was coming. The stop at the savannah distillery was fun. To get 3 trials of unique drinks was great! Highly recommend.
Very knowledgeable drivers! I loved you could stop and get off at so many locations. We had 3 drivers that were very friendly@
A great way to see the city Great drop off spots and the pick up times gave you plenty of time to explore Only wish they ran longer into the day
Full trollies, waiting long times at stops. Seats uncomfortable but all Guides/Drivers were excellent the few I got to meet. Would have ridden more but long stop waits kept that from happening.
Our experience on the Hop on Hop off bus tour was so much fun and informative!! IBig E was our driver and we learned so much about the history of Savannah while entertaining us with his wit and humor!
Went as a group of 3 sisters who have taken many trolley tours previously. This one was very disappointing: all trolleys were so crowded (not on a weekend) we could not sit together and if we hopped off, sometimes back-up trolleys had to be called for the overflow lines. Felt as if drove in circles with no sense of direction or orientation of the city landmarkes to each other. Some conductors were easily understood while others not so much. Was hoping the tour would orient us to the city overall, but left the tour feeling completely confused.
I have been using Viator for years and have given reviews that are amazing. We went on the hop on hop off trolley on Oct 2 2026. It was awful. It was not organized , we had 2 different drivers. The first guy made a lot of jokes which were not funny and said very little about the history. He allowed people who were together to sit in their own seats which caused delays in getting on a trolley. The second driver was rude. It started to pour and it was hot. We had to put the shades down and we were so uncomfortable between it being hot and wet. It was not the experience we would have liked and it would have been better if we didn’t have to stand and wait for the next trolley because of the seating. Not a good time at all
Very interesting and informative. Trolley drivers are well informed and entertaining. Best plan to ride from start to finish, taking note of what interests you the most. Then ride again and get off where you like, see the sites and catch the trolley at another stop. Most stores and attractions take plastic, but have some cash for tipping. Ride, walk, enjoy, repeat.
Beautiful city highlighted by Cindy's knowledge & running commentary. One of the best city tours we've taken.
A great way to see the entire city. Guides were entertaining and funny. Loved having a guide who was born and raised in Savannah. Such great stories and history.
Great way to see the historic district. Sometimes a trolley can be full when it pulls up but the driver will let you know when the next one with room will be arriving. We did have one driver who did a short loop from stop one and back to stop one after just 3 other stops. Not sure what that was about. We enjoyed Heather, but James and Teddy were not understandable. Seats are almost comfortable. Not much legroom and tall folk will have their knees up against the seat in front of them unless they turn sideways. Wish they’d run longer so that you could have dinner and hop on one back to your starting location.
Major attraction stops were few and far between. Went by the same locations 2 different times and the tour seemed disorganized! Would not recommend this to anyone. Booked it for 2 days but decided not to go on day 2. And could not get a refund.
Great way to see the city and time to spend at various stops if you hop off. We had 4 guides along the way and each was great with unique way of delivering historical info.
This was a great way to get an overview of Savannah and then to go back and revisit our favorite spots. Our guides Josh, Tyler and Krystal (on different segments) shared information in their own distinct styles. We went through all 16 stops, then stayed on and got off at some of the ones we wanted a closer look at like some of the squares and the riverfront area. Definitely recommend.
Josh “Smiles for Miles” and Tammy “Tammy with a T” were knowledgeable and hilarious guides as they drove my husband and I through the sights of Savannah. They both taught us so much Savannah history that you don’t get by just walking around the city. Definitely recommend!
We take this to her every time I come to Savannah this is probably our 10th time. Today we had the opportunity to take big E’s tour. He made it so fun. They had the whole bus singing and pro providing us with so many interesting facts. Highly recommend the tour and if you can get on a bus with big E even better!
Of the 3 tours we did, this was the best! One driver especially, he was very knowledgeable about all the places in Savannah! Great Experience!!
We rode the bus for the entire tour first then used it to stop where we wanted to go see again. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.
This is the best way to see and learn about Savannah. All of the tour guides are knowledgeable and entertaining.
Great way to experience Savannah. Hop off at the areas that interest you and hop back on after you see the points of interest.
Parking can be difficult around Savannah and most of it isnt free. The trolley makes 16 stops around town. Your desired destination is never more than a block or two away from one of the stops. We never had to wait more than 15 minutes at a stop to hop back on. The drivers are very safe. They give great historical information along the route interspersed with some humor and a few corny jokes. This was a good value for the price paid.
This was a great way to see the city. The guides were knowledgeable and funny! Only negative thing was the price. It just felt a little too pricey for a single day ticket.
This tour was very nice. The guide was informative and had a great sense of humor. Loved that we could see all the sights easily
Too full on a Saturday. Could not hop back on and after waiting for several trolleys, all full, ended up taking an Uber.
It was very convenient and the guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable.
Fantastic trip around Savannah made all the better with Joey’s witty commentary and excellent knowledge of the area. We were planning on hopping off earlier but he was so good we stayed on for longer. Parking at stop 9 was great as we came from the Hilton Head direction which made it extremely easy all round.
We got on first trolley and rode the whole route. As first timers in Savannah this was great way to get an overview of everything in the city. The city is pretty walkable so we never did take advantage of the hop on and off as we could walk faster to where ever we wanted to go. If I did it again I might hire a walking tour guide and focus more on the historical sections of city.
We had Joey as our driver and he was what made it so awesome . Knowledgeable history with some dad joke humor . I wish you had the carts as in St Augustine. Sometimes I didn’t know where the building was that was being talked about. I feel like I can see better on the St. Augustine trolley. I live there . But I still enjoyed it!
Great overview of Savannah GA. Ben our driver and host was wonderful!! If you want to know this area I highly recommend this tour.
Great drivers/guides. Very informative, humorous and polite ! I heard SO much great history and info on Savannah. I loved the trolley tour.
This is a great way to see the area. D. A. and Lilly are wonderful tour guides. This was our first visit to Savannah, but thanks to this tour it won’t be the last.
Ben was our first driver and he was amazing ! Halfway through drivers were swapped and we got "Magic Mike". Not at all Magic. I was seriously offended by the way he heckled passers by on the street. He would give us the name of a building- thats all - and go back to stories making fun of others. We didn't use our second day - too discusted.
