Loved our self guided tour with Maps. It was more comprehensive than some guided tours I have taken. The directions were spot on and we were notified if we went off track. Really liked being able to pause the tour if I wanted to go in a store or stop for lunch and have flexibility. The narrators were excellent and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend

It was very educational and I loved the self-guided audio. I could do it at my own pace with my dog.
It was an excellent tour with lots of interesting information. It was the right amount of time. She told us where to walk to hear the information.
If you are unfamiliar with the area and history that surrounds it, do not miss the tour hosted by Ms. Denise. Her tenure and personality were highlights!!! Great set ip for your own exploration after the tour is completed.
Could have been better. I enjoyed parts I was able to stay on track for. I would have preferred constant descriptions. If I lost track and missed a turn, I found it very difficult to get back on track. Current location dot was not always there.
Can not wait to go again. The Trip's tone was set by our Ghost night tour on first evening there. We got to see some squares and thier gory history. Next morning, we went to Port Savanna to see A/C Marriott's lobby that had interesting curated Musuem peices. Cobble / brick paths be aware of where you step. BARS LINED ONE side of the street with unique Names! Also There was a movie being filmed... Road House || saw some props and Locations! My friend who lives there says it was a pretty Quiet weekend! Lots of unique and charming shops. My favorite is the Christmas Shop. Open all year round!
Fine for walking but we needed a driving tour. We got lost in the city several times and had to retrace our "steps". Clearly this was a bad choice for us. Somehow I was charged for a second tour so I need info for a refund on that tour.
Was traveling solo. Was able to do the tour on my own pace. Once in a while I listed to some of the trolley tours and would say that I much preferred the knowledge of this self guided tour as opposed to the jokes and generalized information I heard from some tour guides.
My friend and I had a wonderful experience exploring Savannah’s Historic District with the self-guided tour via Viator! We loved being able to go at our own pace without the pressure of a group or fixed schedule. The experience was exactly as described in the reviews I read beforehand—informative, engaging, and truly enjoyable. The VoiceMap app was easy to use and impressively accurate with location tracking, guiding us seamlessly from one point of interest to the next. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys discovering a new city on their own terms.
Not very engaging, technology not as good as other apps for knowing where you are. Basically just covers the squares/monuments along Bull.
It was very fun and informative. We enjoyed learning some of the history of Savannah and Georgia. The audio was very helpful in locating the landmarks.
Thought this would be a driving tour around to see and hear about the homes in Savannah. It's not that at all.
Too confusing to follow. Not helpful because it was hard to follow. I wouldn’t use it again. Each stop was too long a description.
Good tour but difficult to follow the narration due to traffic noise. Interesting stories about the history of squares, people and the colony of Georgia.
It was perfect for a history walk around the city taking your time. Easy to use and allowed me to stop for coffee and stroll through the squares of Savannah.
I enjoyed learning about downtown Savannah at my own pace. It was easy to get the app to play the audio. I had one issue with the recording during the tour, but I found a workaround. Some music from history would make a good background, or fill the times while there is no voice.
The audio tour was a really great alternative to get history without having to be around other people in a big group. We had ear buds and my friend and I each put one in and started the tour. A great experience!
Good stories, easy to follow directions, brought us to good places of interest. Reserving and downloading the right one wasn't as quick and easy as it should be. They need to simplify this so you aren't wading through all the choices trying to find the right one and with a simple download button.
Very informative and easy to follow . The tour took about an hour . I enjoyed the stories about Savannahs history . Makes me want to learn more about this charming city. I would highly recommend this walking tour.
It was really hard to keep up with what was being said on the locations. A great deal of personal information from the speaker that could have been minimized. I ended up shutting it off after the first location, used a map and enjoyed the locations much more. Honestly, would not recommend.
Best audio tour. Felt like I was with a real life guide. The points of reference were so helpful to ensure you’re looking at the correct building.
The audio tour was great! Great stops. Great history lesson. Very easy to understand the person speaking. The directions to each stop were easy to follow. It includes a map that shows you where you are with a red line showing you where to go so that you can easily follow that and see if you get off track. You can pause the tour to go do other things ( we toured an old house) ir even rewind what the speaker says in 15 second increments. We liked it so much we bought one for our next stop in Charleston.
The place where Forrest Gump was filmed was great. The squares are lovely, its a great walk. The audio is easy to follow and generally quite interesting
The gardens were lovely, the squirrels were adorable and not afraid. My husband and I learned more about the locations and homes from reading the plaques and google than we did from the audio tour. The voices used were to mechanical, not informative, and very short.
Such an amazing tour! Very informative and worth every minute. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
We took an on-off bus tour. Got off at this stop, Forsyth Park, just awesome. The fountain was the best, many pictures taken. Tree lined, just a wonderful place to relax and see the sights. I recommend the on-off bus so you can get off anyplace on the line and explore that area, back on bus to check out more.
While the audio recordings were informative, the app is very difficult to use, even for me, a 24 y/o computer science major. Someone who is not tech savvy would probably be unable to use it all together! Disappointed that I paid $24 for 3 people & we had to end the tour early out of sheer frustration with the app. I have done other guided audio tours that I have loved, but this one missed the mark. I recommend a hop on & off trolley tour instead.
This was a great tour and at my own pace. I stopped and enjoyed the scene. I recommend it to anyone.
historic city is wonderful, wish we had time for a second tour, but we had places to be. we stopped in the morning on our way to our new home
This was an easy, convenient tour, and we learned a lot about an easily walkable, small section of Savannah. We particularly liked hearing the history about each of the green spaces (squares), and the history associated with each monument.
Because rain was unpredictable, we chose this tour and drove the route. Having lived here years ago, we knew some of the history, but learned a bit more on this tour. We also know there is much more history than the straight route of this tour and wish there were more options for tours like this.
Nice tour. You can stop and look at other things along the way by pausing the audio. Be aware it does not bring you back anywhere near the start. There are public trolleys to take you back but you’ll need to find the routes they run.
The sites were lovely--the beautiful of the city and the architecture is amazing. But I was unable to pull up the program as I moved through the written list of sites.
Once you get used to the app, this audio tour works pretty well. You can go at your own pace and pause it at any time. This particular tour was somewhat limited. But I loved the concept. I would definitely try something like this again.
We’ve visited Savannah several times and we’re looking for a casual way to experience the historic district. This self guided, narrated tour was perfect! Easy to use, affordable and gave us the opportunity to take in the city on our time. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately, we could not get it to work, and when we called for help, none was available. We downloaded apps, tried two links that resulted in error messages, and ended up following a trolley in our car to see some of the sights but ran out of time.
The facts shared were very interesting however the timing of the delivery is very tough. Some people walk slower, some faster, it felt like we were waiting for the host to speak for way too long. After 15 minutes we turned it off. I still have this a 3 rating as it could just be our speed was misaligned.
This was a great tour for an afternoon we had free. Beautiful sites and great information. Thank you
Great tour and loved the technology behind it! It knew where we were, I was impressed.. would enjoy this again.
Extremely detailed, thorough tour and we loved that we were able to do the tour at our own pace, on our schedule. We were even able to take a coffee break and sample some tasty 5-Start frozen Irish cream coffee at Gallery Espresso Sannah and soak up their cozy, yet decorative ambiance. Surprised how much history we learned for only a couple of dollars. We look forward to Using this same type of virtual tour whenever we travel to other cities.
Very good audio tour. Be sure to follow all directions for optimal use. Easy to download, history was good, enjoyed being able to put phone in pocket as GPS would pick up when you arrive at each stop. Would recommend.
It was a great experience. Very informative and easy to use. The guide was excellent. I would highly recommend.
Our guide, Tyler, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and overall, an excellent tour guide. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a nice walking Ghost Tour.
very informative and i was able to do part of the tour, and complete it later that day, after making several stops along the way. Ran into the narrator, Rose, who introduced herself to me at one of the stops on the route. What a coincidence! She's a real person, and i was confident the information was up-to-date.
It so great to do these audio tours to get some more insight into the history of wherever you are. This particular tour was very well narrated and easy to follow. First time for us to use a GPS location tour and it was great!
This audio walking tour works great, and is a nice addition to learning more about the historic district. As it says, it just keeps coming on as you follow the route, and if you go somewhere off her route, it comes back on when you return. Her commentary is clear and well paced. Well worth having.
Great tour! Very informative! Could go our own pace and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of info shared.
We loved the walking tour, especially doing it at our own pace. It was easy to follow and the history was interesting, we would do this again!
It was so easy to follow! Informative and the perfect amount of time. I love how it was connected to GPS so she started speaking as soon as I hit the landmark location.
The gps part was perfect, always pinpointed our location, and the narrator was lovely. Very interesting.
