If you want to learn about Savannah this is the tour for you. Our guide, I think his same was Andy was excellent. Not boring at all and the 3 hours went by quickly.

Our DTours tour of Historic Savannah and Bonaventure Cemetery was truly the highlight of my family’s visit to Savannah. This is the second time I’ve taken visiting family members on DTours’ three-hour private tour with Andy as our guide and driver, and once again, it was an exceptional experience. Although we know Savannah well and have taken several different types of tours over the years, Andy brings the city’s history to life in a way that is truly memorable. His depth of knowledge about Savannah—its history, its people, and the events that have shaped the city since its founding—is remarkable. If you want to avoid large groups and have the undivided attention of your guide, this is the tour for you. We enjoyed the flexibility of spending time on what interested us most and skipping what did not. Our guide, Bill, was full of facts laced with fun bits of trivia that kept us entertained the entire trip. He was superb.

Andy was FANTASTIC!!! This was the best private history tour we have ever taken in Savannah!! The price and length of the tour were perfect!! We saw things that we had not seen, even though we have been to Savannah 3 times before this trip. The Bonaventure Cemetery was AMAZING to see!! Andy gave us so much information that we had not ever heard on any other tour we've taken! We have plans to be back in Savannah within the year and WILL do another tour with Andy!!

He was very knowledgeable and very personable. When we return to Savannah, we are hoping to catch him again focusing on a different part of Savannah. Our Guide, Bill, was Excellent.Knew the history and was very entertaining and accommodating. We were so tied up we missed the cemetery but we crowed in some other places. We will recommend him to all our friends.

Bill was a wonderful tour guide with lots of interesting stories to tell about the sites we visited. He let me get out to take pictures whenever I wanted so I was able to get up close to many of the historic sites. All in all, it was a very pleasurable experience. We really got a feel for the city .

We had an absolutely wonderful private tour of Savannah with Andy! From the moment we met him, he was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took us through so many beautiful and historic areas — from the Historic District to Starland and the Victorian District — and we also enjoyed time along the scenic riverside. One of the true highlights was visiting Bonaventure Cemetery, which was absolutely breathtaking. Andy shared fascinating history and stories throughout the tour, making every stop meaningful and memorable. He was also very thoughtful, giving us breaks when needed and checking in to see if there were any additional places we wanted to visit. This was such a personalized and enjoyable experience. Andy was terrific. Very knowledgeable and cared deeply about Savannah and its history. We covered the Historic, Victorian and Starlight districts as well as Bonaventure cemetery. Well worth the cost.

Time flies when you’re having fun! And did it EVER! Andy was slightly early at our hotel in his clean and comfortable suv. At the first stop in the historic district-we all got to know each other and got a flavor of what we were looking to see. What a book of enjoyable and engaging knowledge Andy is. Historic Savannah came alive and all questions were easily answered-not in a scripted way. We even got to go a little rogue and see some things that were specific to our interests. Touring Bonaventure with someone knowledgeable AND awed by it was perfect. We now are at ease with our surroundings and going back to get a closer look. Many thanks!

We visited Savannah for my husband's birthday weekend and it was our first time in this city. I booked this Private Tour of Savannah by DTours after researching several other tours listed. on Tripadvisor. One of the main reasons I chose this tour above others was the option to be picked up at our hotel. Bill was our driver and expert guide for the 3 hour tour. Bill arrived early and messaged me that he was at the valet area of the JW Marriott as agreed upon. I hopped into the front seat knowing that I would be asking most of the questions. Bill was great! I enjoyed our tour immensely! Bill parked several times at various locations to allow us to take photos, and walk around beautiful squares, St. John the Baptist Cathedral, and Bonaventure Cemetery. Bill also gave us recommendations for dinner and sent us to Belford's for an amazing lunch. Don't pass up the basket of biscuits. I would definitely recommend this tour and hope you are lucky enough to have Bill Bell as your guide. He was also a very good and safe driver.

Andy was terrific and went out of his way to customize the tour to our requests. He is knowledgeable, personable and a great representative for Savannah. It is 3 hours long and you are driven/chauffeured in a private car. Savannah is tourism driven, so they are able to pull over in convenient spots to explain the history. You can get out and take pictures or see a monument or graveyard etc... Very accommodating. We should have done this first to get a good idea of all the things to do.
