Pontoon Boat Rental Tybee Island

Decided to rent a pontoon boat for the day with tybee watersports, Craig made the check in process easy. We had 8 people on the boat comfortably MK and Joseph were on the dock waiting to help us return. Would definitely recommend enjoying the water with these guys. 5 start team and day

The staff was welcoming and helpful; My parents have limited mobility and the staff made every effort to provide them with assistance and ease of access. We will definitely use Tybee Island Water Sports again!

They are so friendly! We had a blast. I would recommend this over a dolphin tour - the kids will have more fun! Very affordable!

Excellent customer service: we were provided with exhaustive explanations and instructions, checking in was quick and easy, the deck hand was very helpful and friendly. The boat was clean and had a WORKING Garmin GPS/depth finder. Overall, a great experience I would recommend to anyone in for a nice relaxing boating trip!

We had a great day on the water. The staff were awesome. They had everything ready when we arrived and got us on our way quickly. The girls launched us when we left and help us dock when we returned. 10/10, one of the best rental experiences we've had. Will definitely be back in the future!

Staff was exceptional. Friendly and knowledgeable and guided us how to get to Shark Tooth Island. Pontoon was clean and comfortable. We saw a pod of dolphins right at our boat. Amazing experience!

Tybee Island Watersports did a great job familiarizing us with the procedures and instructions for the best trip to Shark Tooth Island with our dog. Even found a few sharks teeth! Nice and relaxing outing. Thanks guys!

Horrible experience. Pontoon had known engine issues that was not disclosed by operator. The engine issues were thankfully remediated by knowledgeable driver that had to pump fuel line about 20 times in the 2 hour rental period. Pontoon boat was also not functioning balanced and the front bow almost went underwater. Manager has refused to respond to my direct calls and emails about complaints.

The guys were helpful and easy going. We had a great time visiting “shark island” Boys found some teeth and we spotted dolphins from the boat on the way back! The restaurant attached the boat launch is amazing.

Great service and good info for our trip. Would recommend to others, And had a blast on the 💦 water. Price was also reasonable

The views were great and we even got to see some dolphins up close. Highly recommend Tybee Watersports. The workers there were so nice and helpful.

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY MY FAMILY HAS EVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE WITH! First off, when boarding the pontoon boat a worker informed us where the lifejackets were and where things were incase the coast guard once again pulled over one of their boats, apparently last time their boat was checked out by coast guard not enough life jackets were onboard for the current occupants. THEN, not only did the pontoon boat completely stop working after 40 minutes out on the water (out of the three hours we rented it for), but the workers (while pleasant) took almost two hours to get us back and docked. Did I mention one of them also CRASHED the pontoon boat into another boat that was docked while bringing us back?? Hardly what I would consider a light crash either! My family and I were willing to overlook the whole fiasco when they offered to give us a refund or swap out our wasted time for jet skis the next day. We happily accepted the jet skis, HOWEVER were informed the next day neither offer was possible as "the employee who offered us that was not authorized to do so," according to the manager. While the workers were pleasant enough, the manager had a horrible attitude and ended up refunding my family only 20% of the $500 rent, even though we only used the pontoon boat for 40 minutes out of 3 hours. Manager also accused my family of breaking the boat WHEN HER OWN EMPLOYEES COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK AND SAID THE BATTERY DIED BECAUSE THEY HAD WASHED THE BOAT EARLIER WHILE PLAYING USING ITS BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS AND THE ENGINE WAS OFF! By far the WORST experience we've EVER had with a company -- horrible customer service, zero empathy, and a lack of boat knowledgeable workers (by the manager's own admission). The workers themselves were at least far more friendly, but customers are punished for workers' mistakes and faulty equipment. In case a similar incident happens to you, I strongly suggest going to ANY OTHER COMPANY! When something goes wrong the manager claims ZERO fault to avoid refunding people. DISHONEST, CORRUPT COMPANY!

Jake is awesome and would highly recommend taking your family!!! Great boats. Always dolphins, and just a truly memorable experience. We did the tiki tour a few weeks ago with my work, and I also highly recommend that!

from the check in to the boat ride, everything was easy to navigate and well explained. Parker did an exellent job explaining the boat rules and safety rules, thank you for a great experience!

Was a great time and experience, We walked in during the middle of the day and they were fast and helpful to get us out on a rental without a reservation. 10/10 would recommend they’re very friendly, informative and don’t charge an arm and a leg.

We unfortunately had a bad experience. The staff was not thorough with directions. The owner was not very friendly or accommodating. The pontoon had mechanical errors and we were also not warned about low tide, which resulted in further issues.

It was a beautiful day. We cruised west to Turner Creek and back. The wind kicked up a little on the way back, but the pontoon boat was a fine ride.

Lot of fun, so much to see. Went for a 3 hour rental and it went to fast should have added an hour or two. Found shark teeth and shells and seen the beauty Tybee has to offer.

Great fun on the water! The entire staff was awesome, we'd definitely do this again. The boat was well equipped with a Garmin that made mapping and depth finding a breeze.

We had an awesome time, took it down to Sharktooth Island, but the highlight was definitely seeing the dolphins right where the creek meets the south channel. Staff was very friendly, no surprises.
