Movie Locations Segway Tour Of Savannah

This tour went beyond our wildest expectations! Jason was a compendium of information regarding movie locations and history. It was clear that our safety was his priority. A bonus was his ability to mimic actors and their famous lines. Jason was amenable to stops for picture opportunities as well. We highly recommend this experience!

Had a great tour and learned some great history about Savannah. Our guide Jason was amazing and had personal stories and historical facts about sites in Savannah also Betty checked us in and had that southern charm and stories that made you want to just sit and listen to her tell you the real stories of the area. Your guide jason was very knowledgeable. Had a great attitude and great personality! He made sure I wad comfortable as this was my first time riding (my husband had previous experience). The offering of sunscreen on a very hot savannah day and free waters were also a nice touch! Highly recommend!

Our guide was great and very informative. We felt comfortable and at ease on the Segway from the very start. I thought I would feel unstable but that was not the case at all. It was so much fun!!!! If you can ride a bike you can definitely ride a Segway!! I would 100% recommend as a Must experience!!

Segway….rolling tour of Savannah’s historic beginnings through Hollywoods’s impact on the city. Huge shout out to Gregg, our US Army Veteran tour guide. He helped us with the safety/technical aspects of the Segway and reminded us to hydrate. The depth of Gregg’s knowledge about Savannah was shared with humor and a passion for this city. The individual earpieces allowed us to hear all of the facts, puns and songs he shared. Highly recommend this tour.

We had such an amazing time with Valentina! I was very nervous but she made me feel very safe and comfortable and checked up on me throughout the entire tour. She knew so much about Savannah’s history and the many movies filmed here! I didn’t know that Glory and the Conspirator were filmed here. Valentina shared some interesting behind-the-scenes trivia about the different movies. The 90 minutes flew by so fast - we wanted to keep going! Highly recommend :)

Such a lovely time with a very knowledgeable guide. Jason is a film buff and has learned the Savannah history better than a local! The headsets made it easy to hear the many facts that he was able to share. At the end he took the time to mark the route that we took on a map so we could easily find our way back to points of interests during the rest of our stay. Super prepared guide and a fabulous way to see a lot of downtown without becoming foot worn.

My Friends and I took the Sunday morning Segway tour with Jason and it was so much fun! Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and given instructions then we took off for our movie tour and it was the perfect day with the perfect guide! The headset allowed us to clearly hear content as well as specific maneuvering instructions to keep us safe on the roadways. The Segway's were in very good condition and operated smoothly over the sometimes bumpy terrain of the brick streets. I can't wait to go again and take the history tour next!

Always a good time playing tourist when family comes into town. The experience was great, and it’s easy to tell our tour guide, Jason, enjoys his job making the tour even more fun. It’s a great way to see some of the beautiful squares of Savannah and challenge your movie knowledge.

The tour started with a warm welcome from staff, confirmation that we've been on Segways previously and completed the training video. Off we went with Jason (who was friendly and well versed) for what turned out to be a tour for two! We spent all of our time touring safely on the roads with all the movie highlights and more. The city is beautiful and we definitely covered a lot of ground.

Jason was a very informative light and breezy tour guide. He was very patient with my sistahs who never rode a Segway and were quite nervous.. Jason put them at ease and they were zooming around in no time. Jason had so many tidbits of interesting information we had not heard. Highly recommend this tours!

I have been to Savannah many times and have taken the trolley tours on several of those trips, but I learned surprising and entertaining information from our Guide Gregg on this fun Segway tour. Before the great info, though, he gave us hands on training of the Segway operation. We were new to this and senior citizens, but it was super easy to learn and operate, and FUN! Prior to our appointment, they sent us a short training video, which also helped. Gregg was just wonderful, put us all at ease, and was thoroughly entertaining. Communication with Adventure Tours in Motion prior to our tour was excellent. Try this tour!

Gregg was fantastic. This was by far our favorite tour of Savannah during our entire trip. Gregg had so much historical information and it did not sound rehearsed or memorized, just very knowledgeable. My husband is disabled and was able to safely tour on the Segway. Everyone was so helpful and kind in the office as well. Great experience!

Segways are a blast! We love to take tours on them whenever we can. This tour was no exception. Super nice guide who knew a lot. You get to wear fun helmets if you want too. The guide will take family pictures and makes sure you are having a good time. Highly recommended.

I was super lucky and ended up on a solo Segway tour with Carolyn. It was my first time riding on a Segway, and thanks to Carolyn and her patience, I left feeling so much more confident than how I started. Segway riding was an awesome experience, and learning about Savannah's history while doing it made the experience even better (I learned more about the history of Savannah, then I learned on the other tours that I took during the week). Thank you, Carolyn for the history lesson and food recommendations! If you're looking for a fun, out of the box way to explore Savannah, then I'd recommend you sign up for a Segway tour!

We had a really good time on this tour. We were able to see downtown and both hear about Savannah’s history and see the different sites of many movies we’ve seen. Gregg was great - he was knowledgeable and personable. It was great for our family with 21,20, and 16-yr old kids.

Our tour guide Jason is simply the best! He is knowledgeable, funny, thoughtful, and accommodating. I used to be a tour guide in Alaska and it can be challenging. For Jason it seemed effortless because he is a pro. I’m a senior now and traveling solo. Jason got me “trained up” in no time. I highly recommend a Segway tour. It was super fun.

Jason kept the group of 7 guests safe while we rolled through all the streets and squares of historical Savannah. Jason was a great guide. His ease while using a Segway pushed me to at least stay upright! It is more of a workout to control it, but my wife and I had a great time. Jason explained all of the locations well and helped with a couple of pictures, but the listening device they give out is somewhat limited. I would have brought my own, wired headphones if I had known to do so.

We took this tour wit Greg s our tour guide. It was very fun. Greg was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He shared so much Savannah history with us in a casual and interesting way.

My sister and I took the Segway movie location tour today with Gregg. We were both extremely impressed by his knowledge of the area and its history. He was very friendly and funny. The company takes your safety seriously. I would definitely take a tour with this company again and I would request Gregg!

This was a fabulous experience. The tour easy to purchase, they guided us well though the safety review and the training was thorough and comprehensive. Ray, our guide, was outstanding. He made the tour fun, kept us safe, and pointed out large and small things that made our experience such a memorable one. Please don’t visit Savannah without doing a Segway tour with Ray! He is an awesome tour guide…full of knowledge and makes the tour very interesting! This was my first time on a Segway. It’s a great way to see the city.

Tried this vs a “regular” city tour & it was a lot of fun & very interesting. Jason really knows his stuff & entertained throughout. Was a very cool way to go around the city & see a lot without walking. We’d highly recommend this tour.
