Learned a lot about Savannah in just a couple of hours. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Would have been great to get to go inside at least one house, but I guess that’s a different tour.

Brad was a fantastic guide. Ended up being just my wife and I which made it more fun. Got to hear all about the architecture and see all the little details that you wouldn't get from the trolley ride. Lots of stories, people, random history blurbs that only a native would know. Super friendly and highly recommend.
This was an excellent experience!! Brad was our guide and he was SO knowledgeable!! Walking around a few squares to learn the history of the city, see incredible homes and spending with our girlfriends was fun!!! Great experience!
Brad texted Thursday night to tell us the guide had been called back for Jury Duty and the Friday morning tour was cancelled. He offered a tour Friday afternoon, but we had another scheduled for Friday afternoon. He assured me he would submit a refund request to the seller and our card would be credited within 5-7 working days. That was almost four weeks ago, and each time I contact Brad regarding the refund, he has another excuse. If you read his reviews, I am not the only one who is attempting to obtain a refund from him. Would recommend you find another tour company.
William Spinx was so knowledgeable and enjoyable! I’d do any tour that he guides. This was the favorite tour we did and we did 4 in our short time in Savannah. He did the city proud!
We got rescheduled twice, which was fine, but on the day of the tour the guide was late and didn’t text or anything to let us know he would be late. If he was late only, that would have been okay but being late after rescheduling twice was a no go for us so we waited till 1:06 (tour started at 1) and left.
Absolutely loved having William as our guide. Very informative and not boring at all. Kept you interested and could tell he had a real passion and intrest in the topic.
We arrived for our tour at the designated meeting time and location. Nobody showed up to give the tour. We could have scheduled another time and day, but, we had already made plans for the days we were visiting the city.
As a first time visitor to Savannah, Georgia, I found this to be a surprising and very pleasurable tour to start my visit. The tour guide was very personable and very knowledgeable about the homes we saw, the history, and the people of Savannah. He sometimes veered into a dialogue that was more personal opinion than historical fact which I found slightly offputting. I simply continued to askbpertinent and relevant questions to our topic, and that brought him back to more historical and accurate facts. I don’t believe he was trying to be provocative, just part of his personality. I would recommend this tour to others and to friends of mine, but with the caveat of you take what you get with individual the tour guide guides.
William provided quite a lot of interesting historical information and kept us entertained with his wit and humor.
We strolled at a comfortable pace and learned amazing history!! Laughs and fun were included for free
Loved it, very cool! Such a rich history. Out your guide was very engaging and informative. The homes were so cool, and let’s of ghost stories as well.
We loved our tour guide, any question we could think of he supplied an answer! We learned so much and even in the rain, had a great time! He gave us great suggestions on what else to experience in Savannah and what WOULD be wheelchair friendly for my father.
Great history tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. Was changed to a historical tour after the homes tour was canceled after the guide was not available
The description mentioned six houses of which one or two of them we were supposed to go into the house. Unfortunately the tour was completely external in the 90+ degree heat and does not match anything like the description on TripAdvisor - To say I was disappointed id an understatement. I do not advise taking this tour.
Unfortunately the tour was cancelled by the tour guide due to jury duty. I totally understand civic duty but it was frustrating as we could no longer tour the historic homes because we leave before another one is scheduled.
My tour was cancelled by the company, they said I would get a refund, but I never got a refund. I texted the tour operator and again they said I would get a refund. but again, I did not. can someone help with this?
Absolutely a wonderful tour, very informative. Our tour guide, Brad, was very knowledgeable and shared many poignant stories and details of Savannah, its history, and many of the beautiful homes in the historic district. Highly recommend.
The guide told us she was a sub We spent more time in the parks discussing the trees, then visiting homes We were supposed to end up at the Davenport house museum, which we did not do We only reviewed three or four homes at the most in an hour and a half
A great way to put the history behind what you can see and smell. Outstanding tour guide with a great flair for the history and tying everything together for the “now”. Detailed explanations of the history leading up to the colonization and building of the area. Including all social and cultural nuances.
Guide was very knowledgeable but this was really a tour of historic buildings and homes. He spent a lot of time at each stop, it could have moved a little more quickly and taken in more.
Knowledgeable guide. Good overview of a number of homes. Description of tour says we would be given a voucher for the Davenport House. However no voucher was offered or given.
Our guide was incredibly informative and entertaining. It was one of the best tours we'd ever taken. Highly recommend.
The tour was cancelled the day before it was scheduled (Feb 20). We were told by Brad the guide had jury duty. Brad tried to schedule for the following day but we were leaving town. He said we would get a refund. As you can see, it being April 10, we have not received a refund even after contacting Brad 4 times. He has said the the seller is in Berlin and it takes 7-10 business days; he has said they do not issue refunds to those who leave unwarranted negative reviews; I said he could Venmo me the refund himself but nothing so far. Unacceptable.
We had a fun night learning about the gory history of Savannah. Our guide was former military and a former Savannah Police Officer. The tour was factual and fun. The hand held devices provided feedback (if you believe this type of thing) about the potential of ghost auras in certain areas. It certainly felt different in these places. Fun night! Appreciated the safety reminder about the area as a visitor.
Great tour, interesting information. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told interesting stories about the areas.
Nice 2-hour walking tour with LOTS of historic information about Savannah's Historic District. Never a dull moment.
The description was very specific as to homes to be visited and the tour did not match. We were also supposed to receive a voucher to be able to enter a home and did not. This was very disappointing as I expected this to be a highlight. It was an interesting tour. The guide was nice.
Brad was very informative and full of unique bits of history. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and left with a better understanding of the history of Savannah.
Our tour guide was great! I really appreciated his knowledge of the Savannah area and its history! I learned information I never knew! A great way to learn about the area!
Had a great guide, Brad. Very informative and entertaining. This tour is only viewing homes from the outside. However learned a lot about architecture, city planning, previous and celebrity owners
Guide very local and very knowledgeable of the homes and history that makes Savannah so colorful. Good pace and found a clean bathroom stop.
Enjoyed the experience and our tour guide Zack was excellent! He was native to Savannah and his knowledge was tops! He was also a good story teller… made it fun to learn
I enjoyed the walking tour although my brain got a tad scrambled with all of the historical information. Tried to access the Davenport House Museum afterwards as it was to be included in the tour cost, however Davenport knew of no such arrangement. TripAdvisor scam?
Our guide Zack, though not always historically accurate, was interesting. He laid the foundation for us to ask more poignant questions on subsequent tours. It was a good overview.
Brad was a very knowledgeable tour guide. It was a small group, so we were able to have his full attention and ask lots of questions.. he was great.. thanks Brad..
Zack was great. Very knowledgeable and personable. Great information and very entertaining. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Savannah.
Great tour! So much to see and learn in Savannah. This was our 5th tour on our 8 day vacation. It was very informative and eye opening. We sure know a lot about bricks and historical houses now! Made walking around on our vacation more rewarding. Can definitely recommend this tour.
Brad was very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond. He had detailed information about the Kehoe and The Pink House. Would definitely be on board for another tour with him.
Zack gave history and little known facts in very informative and entertaining way. We thoroughly enjoyed our time!
Very informative, knew his information. Friendly and knowledgeable . Gave recommendations of places to eat and visit. Very helpful.
The guide grew up in Savannah and was very knowledgeable. He was able to share first hand knowledge of how the city has changed over the past 50 years. We saw easily overlooked homes and learned the history behind them. This tour gave us an opportunity to learn Savannah’s development as a colony and hiw it became what it is today.
Very fun and informative. The guide new his material well and took us to homes with interesting history. Saw a couple that were haunted too.
The LOCAL Guide exuded Southern Charm in his knowledgeable Drawl. Savannah’s history was explained in a soothing and entertaining manner. Much better than a previous Charleston tour experience. Highly recommend Brad/Savannah Walks!
Amazing!! Mr. Spinks knows everything and he is a great teacher. It was a wonderful and enlightening experience. I would definitely do it again. Sidenote: you don't actually go inside of the homes.
Our guide Brad was knowledgeable and quickly amended the tour to include information that guests were requesting. He clearly was only scratching the surface of his knowledge of the city and it's homes, as well as the policies of the historical preservation committee. It was nice hearing the stories from a native of Savannah and seeing the city through his eyes. Highly recommend this tour as a way to learn more about the architecture and preservation of the homes of this beautiful city.
Really enjoyed hearing the “then and now” stories about the houses we viewed. Brad has such a wealth of knowledge and memories! And he is so funny!
Our guide was informative, funny and knowledgeable. He took any all questions amd answered in detail. Easy meetup and not to long and pretty view while learning the history. I think this tour good first time visiting One issue for Owen’s Thomas Hoise and slave Quarters, Viator said free admission but we not go into house so only reason not giving better ra
He explained the history of the homes in a fun and informative manner. The pace was good and we enjoyed it.
Me and my parents had so much fun on this walk! Not only did we learn about the buildings’ history and a brief overview of the architecture, but the guide was nice enough to give us food recommendations and point us towards other fun and educational activities.
