Half-day Wine Tastings In The North Ga Mountains From Atlanta

A wonderful way to explore the Georgia wine country. The small bus to and from the wineries was a lot of fun - partying is very much encouraged! The wineries themselves are stunning, nestled in the North Georgia Mountains, you’ll feel a long way from the city (despite it only being a 90 mins drive). The wine was good quality too. If you want to get out of the city for half a day and see more of what Georgia has to offer I would highly recommend this trip. I went with my wife & this tour works for groups and couples alike.

I’m not a wine drinker so I really couldn’t say much other than I had 2 tasting and I was ohhhhh nooooo!! This ain’t for me lol, beer please lol, the wife enjoyed the rest of my drinks

The van had you park at the Hilton downtown $45 dollars to exit. No water or snacks provided on van.. Smal glasses for tasting with less than a third in glasses. Group of young ladies on bus nice fun however needed a private bus. I have enjoyed other wine tours this was the worst. Don't recommend. Only positive driver was nice. I am very disappointed

Too much road time for only 2 stops. Tour started 30 minutes late. Driver was friendly but not fast about the road speed. 60 in a 70, just took too long.

My fiance and I were very excited to do the wine tour. We are not from the United States and gave our uber driver the location but it sent us to the Hilton hotel. We asked the worker about the meet up spot for the wine tasting but they had no idea what we were talking about. Due to a big event going on downtown in the area and so much people being there we got lost because the crowd was a lot and time was approaching. I tried to reach the personnel however the communication was poor! They did not wait or extended grace. Like I said, we are not from here and on top of that, A refund or partial refund was not offered. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE! BOOK another wine tour. A big disappointment due to lack of communication and professionalism.

I took my wife on this tour as a birthday surprise, expecting an actual wine tasting experience — touring the facilities, learning about the wines, and enjoying a relaxed, half day in the North Georgia mountains. That is not what this is. What we got was essentially a party bus that drives you to a couple of locations to drink wine. That's it. No tour, no education, no ambiance — just drinking and driving to the next spot. To make matters worse, the driver allowed other guests to play music at an excessively loud and rowdy volume — not exactly the atmosphere two people in their 50s were looking for on a birthday celebration. The driving itself also was faster and more aggressive than It needed to be. If you're in your 20s and looking to crank up the music, get rowdy on a bus, and cruise through the mountains with a drink in hand — you might enjoy this. But if you're looking for a genuine wine tasting experience with a tour of the facilities and an opportunity to actually learn something about wine, look elsewhere. Very disappointing, especially given the occasion.

Overall, we had a great time. It was a smooth ride there and back. The driver used his phone for us to play music. Both wineries was amazing, The canoe winery was the last one and it was a bit rushed. It seems like we got there maybe 30 mins prior to them closing. The first winery was definitely better and was more lively. There is a BBQ truck out front, the food was amazing, from the brisket, mac n cheese and baked beans!! I was looking forward to riding with the lady that are mentioned on all the reviews, she seemed to be engaging from what I read. I was a little disappointed she wasn't the driver, but out driver was cool.

It was a nice drive the drive was longer then the wine tasting but people were nice and it was a nice vibe.

I enjoyed Ms Evette (our driver) and the wine tasting at both Vineyards. The views and atmosphere was amazing. I ended up going home with 3 wines!!

This experience was amazing. Me and my bestfriend went for her birthday weekend, for the first time. Our driver was 1000% the best! Pam’s customer service was refreshing, and excellent. The winerys were very nice, loved the asthetic, the wines werent too bad and the scenery was breathtaking for sure. First time in Helen, that little German/Bavarian themed town was really cool to see, the christmas decorations and the ambiance was really something out of a lifetime movie. I really enjoyed this experience .

Annette was great! She was very friendly, thorough, and high energy. She called us the day before to give thorough instructions which was very helpful.

Show up on time and enjoy the ride! This was my 2nd tour with Annette in as many years and I will always recommend this activity! Annette communicated expectations before and during each stop. We had plenty of time to eat, drink, and explore the wineries.

This was my first wine tour, and my friend and I surprised our sister with it for her birthday. Our tour guide, Anita, was incredible, she was full of energy and really knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the rain limited us to visiting only two out of three vineyards. We were supposed to have 13 wine tastings but only got to try 9. I believe we should have received some compensation for this, considering the ticket price. Would I go again? Absolutely! It's a fantastic experience for people aged 21 to 50. The scenery was stunning, and we loved taking photos in the vineyards with the mountains as a backdrop

The experience was nice but I’ve been on better tours for the price. There was no education about the properties or the production of wine like it was in Napa and other regions visited previously. Both vineyards had beautiful well manicured grounds. This gave more like a tasting at Cooper Hawk. Maybe if an additional vineyard tasting, an actual tour or heavier pours are added the cost would feel worth it. Transportation and the bus atmosphere was the plus of it all. Miss Nette was a gem.

Please don't waste your money on this they didn't even explain about the wine tell us how was made etc its cheaper on Groupon 75 but not even worth the 75 had 9 drinks they were water down only thing good was the host she was nice your better off going to do your own wine tastings by just driving to other distillery or wine places then the pizza was 30

This was an amazing experience. Both owners of the wineries were very nice very knowledgeable and our driver was wonderful as well. I will definitely do this again when I am back in Atlanta.

Annette was great with lots of positive energy. The only criticism is that I would've liked to sit as a group with the Vineyard employees and have them tell us about the wine, the story behind the winery, and just "edutain" us. This would provide an opportunity to appreciate the art that goes into making the wines as well as an opportunity to engage with eachother and make new friends. Overall, it was a great experience tasting local Georgia wine with my partner! Thank you!

The bus ride we celebrated my daughter’s birthday and we had a great time with all of the other guests that were not in our party as well. Annette the driver was very good as well.

This was one of the worst experiences the bus driver was absolutely rude. She spoke to us all like we were children. I would never recommend this trip to anyone I’m going to do over 100 google reviews on how to never book with this tour service

My family and I went on the half-day wine tastings in the North Georgia Mountains, and it was fantastic – the wine was delicious, and the setting was beautiful. The staff were also knowledgeable and friendly. The tour guide (Ms. Annette) was great.

The views are amazing. The driver was fantastic. Had a great time and would go again. The group wasn’t too big so the bus wasn’t crowded. Meet some great people and enjoyed myself.

What a great experience with Annette Jolly! It started with a beautiful greeting with a horn. She made sure everyone was comfortable as she engaged with us throughout the trip. I would definitely recommend her to take you along the tour. The best Winery for myself and fiancé would be our the second tour location, or Winery and Farmhouse. It was very intimate and had a better view. The best recommendation for wine is “My Love” .

We had one of the most fun excursions all because of Ms. Annette!!! She was just phenomenal and took care of us not just driving, but at the wineries and even gave us a bit of history both in N GA and Atlanta. She was all the way live!!!!

Miss Annette made our experience fun and memorable. She proactively took multiple photos of our stops and she came around to all groups to ensure we made it back on the bus. She was a delight and the bus ride itself was fun. As for the vinyards, we received pourings but less than proactive service and welcoming. That why rating is a 4 vs a 5.

I'm so glad I decided to book! Visited this past weekend for my birthday and had an amazing time! We left on time and arrived back to the city at a decent time for later plans! Our tour guide was awesome and kept us entertained from beginning to end. I love how we had a chance to experience both wineries even for a short time. Plus, there is both inside and outside sitting at both places so you're able to relax and or enjoy the scenery. Perfect for a friend's trip/date! Will definitely revisit during the Spring/Summer!

My girlfriend and I went on the half day wine tasting tour. We had a good time and will probably go on more.
