Our guide Bill was excellent. He showed us all the top spots in Savannah and followed-up up with several texts recommending restaurants and other sites.

Bill gave us an absolute fantastic tour! His knowledge of the history, and all that we saw was absolutely worth the time and money! Do this on the first day of your visit, and then you will know what places you may want to revisit.

Bill was the perfect host for our three hour tour!! The cemetery we visited was a real gem!!! His knowledge was truly amazing.

We chose to go the private tour was so we could customize what we wanted to see and the time at each site. Pick up was on time. Bill was personable and knowledgeable and gave a good perspective on the tour.

Fantastic tour! I’m a local with a shameful lack of knowledge about my surroundings and so booked this tour for myself and our visiting family. Andy was so knowledgeable about the history, architecture, local stories, etc. The tour was informative and entertaining. He wasted no time, every minute was filled such that we certainly got our money’s worth, without being overwhelming. I will do this again and highly recommend it for visitors and locals. Oh, and the vehicle was a new Chrysler Pacifica which was very comfortable for our group of 4 including one 80 year old with mobility issues.

We did the 7 hour Savannah tour with Bill. He is very knowledgeable , friendly and helpful, leaving us with tips on where to go and eat etc for future days on our trip. We saw a lot, best was Tybee lighthouse. As a private tour he will gear it to what you want to do and see. Would recommend

My husband and I spent an enjoyable 7-hour tour of historical Savannah, Fort Pulaski National Monument, Tybee Island, Isles of Hope, Wormsloe State Historic Park, and other interesting surrounding areas with our amazing DTour guide, Bill Bell. Bill was very pleasant and easy to spend the day with. He was considerate, caring and very knowledgable on the areas and the history. Bill suggested a fun and delicious southern home cooking dining experience at Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room. We highly recommend DTours and Bill Bell.

We really enjoyed our custom private tour with Bill. He was very knowledgeable about Savannah history and had the perfect temperament for the tour. Bill was an excellent driver. We explored and learned about Wormsloe Historic Site, Bonaventure Cemetery, Isle of Hope (which had lovely historic homes), and the Savannah Historic District. We were hoping to learn and see the sights without too much walking, which worked out perfectly. It was exactly what we were looking for -- highly recommend the tour and Bill in particular.

I read the reviews before I booked this tour and I have to agree, Danette was absolutely great as a guide. She knows her history and all the little interesting stories behind Savannah's history and buildings. We had a beautiful day to tour the city and walk the parks. We were never in a rush and she had all the scoop on the hidden gems of restaurants as well. The price was very well worth it and do it early in your visit so you can take advantage of the recommendations and go back an explore points of interest.

Janie was a fantastic Guide! We did this the day after we arrived in Savannah and it was tailored to our interests! She shared the history of Savannah while showing us around, she would drop us off and give us as much time as we wanted to go inside things like St. Mark’s Basilica. Her knowledge of Bonaventure Cemetery was impressive and that was our favorite part! She followed up our tour with recommendations of local restaurants and pedicab companies. Would highly recommend!

This is an exceptional tour that exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide, Danette was friendly and hospitable. She was able to easily modify her “routine” itinerary to accommodate and complement our experience based on the other tours we experienced this weekend. She captured photographs for our group and picked the entire 3 hours with meaningful and memorable stops. She easily weaved in personal requests. Highlights - downtown squares with the history of each, the art district, Chatham crescent, majestic oaks, bluff lane, Victory drive, Wormsloe, and Bonaventure Cemetery. Danette packed our time with information the time flew by!! Whether this is your first trip to Savannah or not this is an absolute must!

Very reliable. We toured Fort Pulaski and downtown Savannah. She accommodated all of our requests for tour stops. Her car was spotless. We were fortunate to have Janie guide us on our tour of Savannah and the Bonaventure Cemetery. While she had a standardized itinerary around the Squares, she added interesting and personal flavor to each of the sights. Ultimately it was like having an old friend taking us around her hometown, with great interpersonal conversations along the way. She will always be the highlight of our Savannah trip.

I was lucky enough to get Janie as my guide and what an amazing time! My time in Savanna wasnt going too well, and getting the chance to see Bonnaventure, Wormsloe, Isle of Hope and both Laurel Grove cemetaries was amazing! It was like hanging out with a friend! Shes very knowledgeable and sweet... and even took me to get some lavender tea that I had wanted to try. Booking a private tour was the best decision and money well spent! Chris was our tour guide. His car was clean and he wore a mask. We requested to see squares, gardens, architecture and a cemetery and he fulfilled all of our requests.
