All of us have lived in Atlanta for quite some time and still had a FABULOUS time. Our guide Arielle shared so much rich history that none of us ever knew. Each piece of art on the tour was like a character in the experience. It was also perfectly timed--not too short, not too long. We all had so much fun, learned so much. AND--the info was SO rich, I feel like I could do the tour again, and it not feel repetitive.

Had an amazing time exploring Cabbagetown with Unexpected Atlanta and our fantastic tour guide, Arielle! 🎨✨ I attended with friends and learned so much about the neighborhood’s history, local artists, and the stories behind the incredible murals. Arielle was energetic, knowledgeable, and full of insider tips that made the experience even better. Plus, we captured some amazing photos along the way! Can’t wait for the next tour and to discover even more of Atlanta’s hidden gems. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike!
Was visiting Atlanta for conference and looking for a cool and special places to see. That how I've found the Street art tour. Our guide Ariel was super friendly and very informative. Highly recommended
Arielle was a fantastic guide! She was so knowledgeable and the way she spoke about the art showed a real appreciation and respect for the artists and their bodies of work. Super inclusive and very inspiring art experience! Arielle took pictures for us and shared them after the tour! And we were given a printed picture of one of our photos at the end as a sweet surprise! 🥰
I took the 2.5 hour Street Art Tour in Cabbagetown last Saturday with Arielle. She is a fantastic guide. While I had walked the neighborhood on Thursday, I didn’t know anything about the artists who painted the murals. Arielle told us do much about the artists. We also learned about the Dexter the bodega cat. I loved being emailed photos of our tour at the end. Great job!
I signed my family up for the “Cabbagetown and BeltLine Street Art Tour,” and it completely exceeded our expectations! Our guide, Arial, was fantastic, so knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting stories about the artists and the history of Cabbagetown. The two and a half hours flew by and were packed with fun exploration, colorful murals, and hidden gems we never would have discovered on our own. The only small downside was the included drink at the end of the tour, since the choices were limited to cider, beer, or soda. I would have loved a few more options. Overall, I highly recommend this tour! It was such a fun and unique way to celebrate a special occasion and experience Atlanta from a different perspective.
We really enjoyed this tour! Our tour guide, Glenn, was a fun guide. He had great information about all the art we saw and made sure that everyone was able to ask all of our questions! The art in ATL is amazing ... I'd definitely recommend this tour!
Thank you Glenn for a really fun and interesting walk around the neighbourhood and for all the interesting facts we learned along the way!
Glenn was amazing! He told the story of art with speaking to the residents of the area and what they are facing and have faced. I really felt I was apart of the community and welcomed there. I also learned a lot about art!
A fantastic art tour—well organized, insightful, and truly enjoyable. The guide was knowledgeable and made the experience memorable.
This was an amazing experience!! Highly recommend doing this tour. We had an amazing tour guide Arielle that was very knowledgeable and connected with her audience.
Our tour guide Adriana was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and a pleasure to be with. The art we saw was amazing and it was great to learn about this unique cultural treasure trove right in our own Atlanta. A fun and interesting outing. DH
Glenn was the best tour guide ever! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved learning about Atlanta and Cabbagetown through looking at art. Would recommend this tour!
Glenn yes with two n’s had a great attitude and came prepared for our rainy day tour with ponchos and full of information and fun facts.
See an unexpected part of Atlanta. Learn details of street art. Glenn our Guide was very knowledgeable
The Atlanta Street Art tour is not to be missed. If you're lucky, Glenn will be your guide! Glenn asked thoughtful questions to us about what we saw and experienced in the art. It became an engaging 2 hour conversation instead of a narrative tour.
Glenn was knowledgeable and very pleasant. He spent time answering all our questions. We had a great time.
We had the tour to ourselves and it was super cool. Ariell and Glen double guided us and it was great. They had a ton of knowledge and didn't mind that we wanted to stop a thousand times for photos.
Great experience. Beautiful artwork. Learned a great deal! The tour guide was exceptional. The finishing touch was a photo postcard and an artwork creation of our own doing which was great. I’ve been on plenty of Vita tours and no tour guide finished it off with an activity and a gift! It was quite lovely!
Loved this tour and learned so much about Cabbagetown and street art! Leigh was very knowledgeable and fun; great tour and I highly recommend it!
This tour was terrific. We learned about street art, public art, and graffitti. Jay, our tour guide, was personaable and fun. He helped us bond as a group so we had a lot of fun while we walked, viewed the street art, and learned together. Ending with a beverage and activity was a lot of fun. All in all, I would highly recommed this tour - and Jay as your guide.
Jay guided us on an absolutely fantastic tour. He was kind and informational. We enjoyed the walk, learned a lot, and would highly recommend!
This experience was nice and very informative. We enjoyed the fun facts and knowledge. Jay our guide was polite and helpful.
This tour was awesome! Our tour guide, Arielle, was super friendly, incredibly informative, and really helped us have a great time. We learned so much about Atlanta—even as Georgia natives who have visited the city numerous times. I would highly encourage anyone to take this tour: girls’ afternoons, family trips, or like we did, to celebrate a birthday. Much enjoyed!
We had an awesome time on this tour with our fabulous tour guide, Arielle! She has a background in art and history, and she had so many interesting stories and examples that wove a tale about the history and art in Atlanta. We were lucky to see the fresh wall art as the Forward Warrior Project 2024 had just happened the week prior, and were able to see a couple of artists still working on their murals! We started next to Little’s Grocery, walked along with plenty of stops for photos, went through the Krog Street Tunnel, and ended at McCray's on the Beltline with an included a drink & waters (choice of beer, cider, or soda), markers/coloring project, and a surprise souvenir. Besides my family of 5, there were only 2 other guests, so it was a small but good size tour (they allow up to 14 guests). We tipped in cash at the end of the tour, and the only thing I regret is not getting a photo with our guide, Arielle! We highly recommend this tour and guide! :) My favorite Atlanta artists are: Joe Dreher @joekingatl Lela Brunet @lelabrunetart Lisette Correa @arrrtaddict (a fellow Puerto Rican!) Magdalena O'Connor @magdalenaoconnor Suggestions: - Parking was tough to find, so ride-share is a great idea. But we had fun driving scooters back to our car as this tour does not go in a loop. - Use the restroom beforehand, though there is one at the restaurant at the end of the tour.
Leigh was our guide with a passionate approach to street art around the Atlanta area. Her knowledge was excellent and very professional. My wife and I enjoyed the short time to introduce us to Atlanta Street Art
I happened to be the only person on the tour today, so it turned out to be an awesome private tour. Ariel was such a lovely energy and the whole tour was like walking with a fellow art nerd friend as we discussed potential meaning of various artworks we came across. Couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. Go for it.
Wow! What a fun experience. My son and I went as tourists in our own town. We learned so much from our wonderful guide, Leigh. She was super knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. I loved how she facilitated conversation amongst the teens/tweens in our group. We both left feeling inspired and proud to call Atlanta our home.
This was the perfect event to appreciate the Street Art and learn a little history too! It’s possible to go solo or with a group, the host was awesome in accommodating everyone. She assured we all had the opportunity to take photos along the way, and the activity at the end was refreshing and thoughtful. If you’re able to walk a nice distance, it’s very cool and worth it.
Nice and artistic experience. It was great. Our guide Arielle has good knowledge of the arts. She explains vividly. She is very energetic and happy. The surprise with the picture was awesome. Thank you Arielle for so much joy.
Street art and history of Cabbagetown was so interesting. Our guide Leigh was very personable and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
So much fun! teenage niece visiting and decided to take a leap and sign up for a tour. I was worried the teen would want to quite but in fact she loved it. We walked, listened to history of the art and neighborhood, had a yummy homemade cola drink, and even did an art project. Price is great for all we did. We were able to sit down in the shade while our amazing tour guide Ariel ( graduate from SCAD gave us insights into the history of the neighborhood so the 1 mile walk was 7800 steps and wasn't bad at all. Even got to meet one of the mural artists who happen to be eating lunch near us. Our tour group was fun, some also from atl and some from out of state. We drive by these pieces of art all the time so it was wonderful to understand their history. We came away with a new appreciation and wanting to take another tour in our city.
Amazing tour! I loved learning a bit about the history of Cabbage Town/Atlanta and spending time viewing, learning about, and discussing some of the incredible public art there, including loads of large murals by local artists. Our guide Leigh was also superb at keeping things enjoyable/interactive and giving us tools for thinking about public art that we can take with us to any street art in any city. Highly recommend!
We loved the Cabbagetown Street Art tour with our brilliant and hilarious host, Leigh! It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday getting to know our new city. We learned SO MUCH -- not only about the history of one of Atlanta's central neighborhoods, but also about street art as a means of expression, connection, and community building. I had no idea all of this was here -- it was like an enormous outdoor art gallery. We saw hundreds of murals, and Leigh used her academic background to help us develop our artistic analysis skills! She also made it easy for us to build friendships with the other tour participants by talking about our neighborhoods and creating our own community-specific art. Highly recommend this tour!
Really enjoyed the Street Art Tour with Leigh! She is so knowledgeable about Cabbagetown and the artists. Leigh’s tour was an excellent blend of street art & history, which gave so much context to the works of art we examined. It was such a nice afternoon activity for visitors and locals!
The Cabbagetown street art tour with Leigh was absolutely fantastic! I was so impressed with her depth of knowledge of the local history and culture along with her expertise in interpreting visual art and guiding her audience in doing the same. I've taken many walking tours in various cities, and this is definitely the best one I've experienced. I loved being immersed in the neighborhood's vibrant street art while also learning more about the meaning behind the artwork. Plus Leigh is hilarious and has the best anecdotes. Closing with a participatory art activity at a local bar was a great way to cap off the experience. Can't wait to take a tour of another neighborhood with Leigh!
Fantastic tour! Our tour guide, Leigh, was very knowledgeable and funny! Learning about the history of the Cabbagetown neighborhood while looking at and discussing the street art was so much fun. Learning + fun = amazing tour. 10/10 would recommend.
We had such a great time on this tour. Leigh was an amazing leader. She is very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful experience. If you have any interest in street art take this tour!
