This was such a great experience. We had great weather. We loved the specialized, personalized treatment throughout our tour. Francesca, our guide, is amazing and very knowledgeable. She's a great driver and guide. She made everything fun and enjoyable. She accommodated our requests whenever she could safely. The trip was the perfect length. Eating at Nic's and Norman's restaurant was also a great experience. The food was delicious. We enjoyed visiting the spots, seeing where the action was, taking photos, and visiting the Walking Dead gift shop.

Our guide, Francesca, was amazing and wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, presentable, professional, and made us feel so comfortable in our tour. She has a warm personality and extremely flexible with our schedule. In addition to our great tour, she also showed us other places in Atlanta – like nice food spots, historical and upscale neighborhood of the region, which we never would have found on our own. Francesca was outstanding, top-notch in every way!
This tour is brilliant, we saw so many places from the walking dead, we got great photos and our guide, Francesca was amazing with extra information and tailoring the tour to us. We had a fantastic day and will remember it forever, thank you so much Francesca
Amazing day. The tour was customised to our preferences and included scenes from both walkingdead, stranger things og hunger games
Greg was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable about Atlanta’s city history and film industry. His car was comfortable with complimentary water. The time spent in Senoia was certainly the highlight! I highly recommend this tour, especially to those not natives of Atlanta.
My kids and I traveled to Atlanta just for this private Walking Dead tour and it did NOT disappoint. Francesca was personable, accomodating, and knowledgeable far beyond what is required. Such a gem! I can't recommend this tour (especially with our guide) enough ♥️
This was so amazing! Francesca is so fun and knowledgeable. It was just like going on a trip with one of your friends. Thanks for the fun and the memories, I truly appreciate you. And also thanks for being a good sport when the Alexandria local forced you to be in our picture 🤣 the trip itself was amazing but you were so fun that you made it so much better. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. If we’re ever in town again, I hope to look you up for the three hour tour! Until then, thank you from Missouri! <3 Sylvie
It was such an incredible experience that I’ll never forget! I hope to come back again! 🙂 our tour guide was amazing and hilarious!
A coworker and I were in town for a conference and took the private day-long Walking Dead tour of Atlanta and Senoia. Francesca was our guide. She was knowledgeable, fun, and engaging—and an excellent driver. She took us to a variety of locations in the city, providing context from the show and screening clips from the show on her phone at each. She was adept at finding spots to safely park and let us get out to look around and take photos. After a quick stop at an awesome local food spot, we headed to Senoia. Francesca filled the drive with conversation about the show and even played music from the series. Once in Senoia, she dropped us at Nick and Norman’s for lunch—with time for a stop at the Woodbury Store for TWD souvenirs built in. We got to walk around Senoia; then she picked us up and took us through key locations in the Alexandria set. We even got to see a Stranger Things bonus location on the way back to the city. It was an awesome day for two TWD fans. We would both highly recommend both this tour and specifically Francesca!
I love the TWD and the tour was awesome! Our guide, Greg took it up a level. He was so fun, interesting, and super knowledgeable about the show and Atlanta itself. We had such a great time! 10/10… highly recommend this tour if you’re a fan that loves to be driven around getting all the facts and seeing all the things. Plus, Nic & Norman’s restaurant was delish and fairly priced 😊
Awesome tourOur tour guide was fantastic.Had a great time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and knew exactly which scene that what we were looking at was shot from. Very knowledgeable would definitely do it again
One of the best experiences I’ve ever done, so grateful I got to see so many locations from TWD and had an amazing time. The tour guide Francesca was incredible and went out of her way to give extra information and show me extra places used in the show, she was also very fun to talk to and kind. Not only did it feel like a TWD tour but I also got to see so much of Georgia too. I would definitely recommend to anybody who is a fan of the show, it’s very much worth it!
Greg was excellent. He gave us a lot of information on the series, but also on the city. Is knowledge was a great asset. I would recommend his service anytime and would definitely use it again.
amazing tour, my tour guide was francesca and she was brilliant. super friendly and communicated with me well beforehand.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and showed us a variety of Walking Dead locations. Norman Reedus' restaurant was delicious.
Julio was fantastic! He was there on time, friendly and informative, and really fed into our love of the series. He took us to tons of great locations and even had video clips ready on his phone to help us anchor what we were seeing with the scenes in the series. From Atlanta to Woodbury to Alexandria and tons more, we were totally there. Great sense of humor, wonderful conversationalist, and very professional. If you love the series like we do, you're going to LOVE this tour! Bring cameras, comfy walking shoes, and plenty of energy!
Greg was an absolute joy to spend the day with. My wife and I are huge TWD fans and this trip was a big bucket list item. Senoia was having a big annual car show, so the regular route was limited. However, Greg still made sure we were able to see everything and more! If you are a fan and want to see more of ATL and the surrounding areas, this is a must! Thanks Greg!
Completed this tour today. Francesca was amazing! She allowed for photos and showed use clips of the show while we were at that location. We shared great conversation and even enjoyed lunch together! She allowed us plenty of time in the museum and gift shop. Thank you again for an amazing day!!
Our tour guid was amazing Greg ! He was informative and fun ! Highly recommend taking this tour. Went to all the spots we wanted to see
Our guide, Greg arrived on time, clean, comfortable car, off to a good start. I was a bit worried as this was a very expensive tour and I wondered if I should have gone for a cheaper one, not a bit of it, this tour was worth every penny. Greg was extremely knowledgeable about the locations and the filming of the series, as we arrived, he played clips of the scenes at each location which brough them to life for us and refreshed our memories. Its was amazing being at the actual locations, we could get out, walk around, take photos, Greg never hurried us and had a mine of insider information. He was also funny and ensured the trip was entertaining and informative for us. It was a long day but seemed to fly past. If you treat yourself to anything when visiting Atlanta, let it be this, you won't be disappointed.
Let's just start by saying that I was in my element. I'm in the process of watching the series for the third roll, and I could not contain my excitement to visit all those sites and locations where the various episodes/scenes were done. Our tour guide, Chris, was so calculating in how he rolled us onto the sets unsuspectingly and let me just burst into glee repeatedly as I recognized the scenes one by one. We were living The Walking Dead - LOL! I got opportunities to drag along like one of the walkers. I enjoyed eating at Nic & Norman. Imagine, I was in Alexandria, Woodbury; I stopped by Rick's houses and the "CDC". Now I have 3 pairs of Daryl socks, fridge magnets for Rick and Michonne, Negan's Lucille key ring and more. Chris shared so much on the pre and post history of the various locations, how Terminus got it's name, and what it was like for him personally being in Atlanta to witness some of the filming. I can't share all the details exchanged by Chris in this post because it just too much to say. Chris was super and you just have to do the tour with him to understand why our experience was so great. We were well facilitated and Chris kept the dynamics right because for things/places we had seen in other tours, he gave us the option to skip and move into something/place else. He also shared a whole lot about the economy and social fabric of Atlanta and Georgia some of which was relevant to The Walking Dead filming and the general film making industry that's so vibrant in Georgia.
As a fan who has watched The Walking Dead from the beginning to the end down to the spin off shows, this was by far the MOST exciting experience EVER. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and truly made this experience so much more than I expected. Well worth every dollar spent. Doing this tour truly brought my love for the show full circle.
Great experience, would highly recommend! Our guide Gregg was the best, very knowledgable and a good driver with a comfortable vehicle. As it’s been a while since we watched the series, the clips shown to support the location were very much appreciated.
Great trip! We were able to see spots off the beaten path. Lunch at Nick and Norm’s was fantastic. If you have the time, take this tour!
This was an incredible day, my brother and I pre-planned this before we left England, we was picked up by Chris whose energy was so contagious, there wasn't a single silent moment in the car between destinations, he never told us what we was going to see but instead would stop the car, and let us guess where it was, which is an incredible feeling to realise the location without being told ahead of time, so the excitement was on a whole other level. When realising the location, Chris would then show us pictures from the show on his phone so we could see for reference and compare which made it so much better, and not only that, just by watching Chris it quickly became evident how much he enjoys his job which is fantastic to see someone so passionate. I would happily pay and experience the same tour with Chris as our guide again. An absolutely incredible day. After our tour concluded and we were dropped back at our hotel, we had a selfie with Chris before shaking hands and parting ways. I was gonna add pictures of our Tour, but I rejected the thought, because I whole heartedly feel that every Walking Dead fan should go into this blindly, you'll have a much better experience. So instead I offer you our post tour selfie. Thank you so much once again Chris and D-Tours.
Our driver was fantastic. Greg was very funny, social, and gave us a great look at all the sites. I would only rate 4 stars because I think this is way over priced. Sure, your group is alone in the vehicle but there is no special access. All the sites are free to see. I thought at this price there would be behind the scenes, special access to something but there isn't. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because Greg was so awesome. If our driver had not been so much fun it would have been a 2 star tops.
This tour was GREAT! My Husband and myself had so much fun. Thanks to our charming and funny guide Greg. He went above and beyond to give us the best experience on this VIP Walking Dead tour.
Great experience, our tour guide Melinda was very knowledgeable of the sites and we were even able to see sites from Marvel pictures as well! The Walking Dead museum in Senoia was awesome as well, took a picture with Negan and Abraham and also ate at Nic and Normans. We were able to tour Alexandria since the walls were down and Woodbury. I absolutely recommend you go on this tour and bring some extra money for the museum and your Nic and Normans lunch stop!
We spent the day with Andy on a great tour of Savannah. It was a great day and a highlight of our trip. Andy was knowledgeable and a great ambassador of the city. We enjoyed our time very much!
Chris was not only informative, but entertaining! He was thoroughly knowledgeable about TWD as well as Marvel films, MLK, Jr sites, some other historical and even architecture locations. We were able to get actually walk through what was left of "Alexandria" and "Woodbury"- sadly, the windmill and Alexandria's walls were all gone and new homes & townhouses are being built on the location. Chris handled all the traffic and driving, and made sure that we had opportunities to take pics or walk around if we wanted. Seeing the sites where Terminus, Rick's & Morgan's houses, the police station, even some Season 11 locations were fantastic! It might be pricey- but you pay for an unforgettable experience!
Our tour guide was nice and very friendly but we were not told we could just do Atlanta since we had done Senoia already. We were not told lunch was not included. I don't understand what we paid $350 a person for. It was way too costly
Only reason I gave this tour 3 stars is because Malinda our tour guide was excellent but unfortunately she was flogging a dead horse on this tour. The company would be better dropping this tour as most of the walking dead film sites are either not there any more or have been changed, the souvenir shop and water tower in senoia are the closest you will come to seeing anything I could relate to the show, the rest has to be explained to you by showing exerts from the show on the guides ipad. Very expensive and 7 hours is a long time, positives you get a good tour of atlanta and the meal at Nic and Norman's in Senoia was very good. My wife said the tour was OK but she is a big walking dead fan.
We had a fantastic time on our Walking Dead Tour. Our tour guide Chris is an awesome guide. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely easy to talk to. He pointed out extra spots to us too, like where Black Panther was filmed. Chris made our second day in ATL so much fun. The tour was great and lunch at Nic and Norm's was was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour if you are a fan.
Our guide, Chris, was great. Not only with the Walking Dead info he provided, but also throwing in extras on a bunch of other productions and shows from the area.
Micky was my tour guide, couldn't have found a better guide. He was down to earth and made the whole experience better then I could have hoped for. Took me to all the famous spots and quized my memories to others. Really enjoyed Nick and Norms too. All in all I had the best time!!!👍👍
Chris was awesome! Very knowledgeable not just about the Walking Dead, but about the city in general. He showed us city highlights and told us about some of its history. He showed us where other movies were filmed. Not to mention he was very personable. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him.
Chris is an excellent tour guide and super knowlegable about the walking dead. Would recommend if your a fan.
Our tour guide was Mickey. He is amazing at what he does. He was also a flat out great dude. We were gonna give him 1 star to humble him but we just couldn't do it (inside joke so he knows who left this review). If we could leave 10 stars we would but it appears 5 stars is the best grade. Very informative and fun. We highly recommend this tour.
Mickey was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, sent us screenshots to compare the scene with what we were looking at! Also ran into a Super Fan who gave Mickey addresses of some new places, so we got to see Negans house, from Here’s Negan, and the church where Rick came and prayed. The most memorable moment…making a right out of Woodbury….and there it was…..(It’s a spoiler)! When we get to visit again, we will definitely be requesting Mickey!
Getting to see everything! Mickey was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, sent us screenshots to compare the scene with what we were looking at! Mikey was purely amazing. His knowledge and willingness to share his knowledge made me and my wife's trip the best
We had a fantastic tour with Mickey. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared all kinds of inside information. Mickey was also a lot of fun to spend the day with.
This tour was so much fun! My guide, Chris, was knowledgeable, engaging and funny. He made everything easy and comfortable. I am a huge fan and the this was a fantastic way to spend a day talking about the show and looking at the iconic locations. Great communication. Good value for the price. Highly recommended!
Loved this tour. Brought my adult son and daughter, we are all big fans!! Our guide Chris was amazing and so knowledgable! He is very accomodating and friendly. during our time in Senoia we visited the Woodbury Shoppe and saw Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Norman Reedus hooking up to go for ride. Best part of the day by far!! Finished our day with dinner at Nic & Normans; which was delicious. Thank you Chris for making our day so memorable and for going out of your way to show Brandon some other great spots too!
Dan was amazing! We had the best day and saw more than we expected! Dan has so much to share and is willing to show you whatever may interest you. Definitely would book with him again!
Chris was our tour guide and it was way beyond my expectations!!! Being an extreme fan it was everything and more. Chris was not only knowledgeable but patient/friendly and went out of his way to make sure we saw as much as we could! One of the best experiences ever! CK
Mickey was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, friendly & kept the tour entertaining. Enjoyed seeing Atlanta & Senoia in 1 day.
This was our very first Tour so we didn’t know what to expect. We took the VIP Walking Dead tour. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable of the area and the movie. He gave us the best possible experience. However we were very disappointed in the tour itself. It was way over priced for what you get to see and do. Most of the time was spent in the compact SUV with little leg room driving. For the $300 per person we could of driven ourself and seen it all other than Rick, Morgan, and Negans houses. I would never take another Viator tour by DTours.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this trip, but I was very impressed with the whole experience.
We had a GREAT time with our tour guide, Dan, who was phenomenal!! This was a birthday gift for our grandson, who also loves the show Stranger Things. Dan threw in some filming sites for this show as well and our grandson was super excited he did! Dan was GREAT and he just felt like one of the family. Highly recommend!!
