1-hour Bonaventure Cemetery Golf Cart Guided Tour In Savannah

Great tour. Brandon, our guide, was friendly, informative and engaging. We were a lively group of 6 and he showed a lot of patience. He was fabulous. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Got a text the morning of with directions and photos showing where to meet, which was very nice, took uncertainty out of it. My group's guide was great, had a lot of information on the tombstones and the people and families they belonged to. Even the ones that weren't part of the prepared material, he knew about and could tell me when I pointed them out and asked. For one of the shorter tours available, it was jam-packed! And I appreciated it was all on golf cart, I've done so much walking on this vacation already, my feet appreciated it! But we still got chances to stop and take pictures and walk through some walking-only sections (not too far, if you have mobility problems, no worries there).

The Golf Cart guided tour was very enjoyable. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the overall experience was great and very educational.

A lovely introduction to Bonaventure Cemetery, and especially nice to have a break from walking in the golf cart.

The tour of the St Bonaventure Cemetery was excellent. Very impressed with our tour guide. We learned so much from her. Taking the tour via a golf cart is definitely recommended. Provides the opportunity to see much more than walking.

This was a unique experience and very interesting. The tour was a good amount of time to experience the cemetery and convenient for anyone who doesn't like a lot of walking.

Amazing tour of the Bonaventure cemetery by Richard. We have gone on a couple of tours before and Richard did not fail to pass on his knowledge of a lot of the history we have not yet heard before. Great golf cart tour for those that can’t walk or stand for long distances. I would highly recommend this tour!

If you are into cemeteries then this tour is it. The golf cart ride and guide was FANTASTIC.The bits of history and back stories were fascinating. The co driver was really cute , short and fuzzy.(hahaha it was a doggy). Would definitely do tour again next time in Savannah

This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide, I'll call pony-tail man, was so informative! He took us to all the top spots that one would assume need to be seen. (I say that because there is an Adventure Lab from Geocaching that hit all five marks). The history and headstones in there are just so incredible. Worth the trip!

Well worth it! So many stories about Savannah and the cemetery is so large the tour makes it possible to see the whole thing.

This was a very meaningful tour given by an exceptional guide. We not only learned about the cemetery, but about how loss was handled in Victorian times. The guide was sensitive about the topic of death and very knowledgeable about the history of the cemetery as well as about the families buried there. I especially appreciated being picked up at the gate and given a ride back to the meeting place.

My daughter and I took this tour and despite the misty weather, enjoyed it tremendously. Our guide/driver was full of great information, details, dates and humor. He drove carefully and was obviously very familiar with Bonaventure and Savannah. Highly recommend!

Definitely a must see. Worth the money and time if you're interested in Savannah history. Just wished it was a longer tour, we could have spent all day! Harry was so knowledgeable and made it a fun and informative tour.

Harry was a great guide. We could tell that he had studied a lot and was very knowledgeable of the cemetery and history. I wish that Johnny Mercer’s marker and some newer ones could have been shown also.

Chilly 9 AM TOUR but our guide actually had cozy blankets and he was a great story teller as he took us thur the grounds.

Beware! You may end up at the back of the golf cart sitting backwards! Horribly dizzy and having to turn entire body to try and see what he is talking about. When he says 'and over here on your left' ... we hand to remember to turn to the right. When he stopped in the center of a gravesite everyone could see but us who were in the back facing backwards! We missed alot

It was a very informative cemetery tour. The company also gave detailed instructions on where to park and meet them Which was very helpful!

My husband and I were excited when we pulled into Bonaventure Cemetery 5 minutes before we were to depart. A female rep called me just as we entered the gates. Then with an attitude she proceeded to belittle me for not following the map she sent to find where to meet up. I had no idea I had received one since it went to spam. My husband and I were both frustrated and beyond angry when we pulled up to the meeting spot at 1 minute prior to departure because of that phone call. It totally ruined our experience! The rep that called didn’t even have the grace to look up much less greet us. Never again!!!

I would highly recommend going with knowledgeable people through the cemetery. The stories and symbolism can only be experienced with a real person.

I was not looking forward to this excursion as I thought it was going to be very boring and it turned out to be one of my favorite things of the entire trip! I’ve lived in Charleston and I’ve been to Savannah a few times and my friends wanted to do this event. Our tour guide was fantastic! The stories in details about the cemetery were exciting and engaging! Truly worth the money you should definitely put this on your agenda for Savannah.
