This was a Very Nice Hotel. It was in a Good location. Easy to get too. And Affordable. Our room was Clean and Big. Was Decorated Nicely. We had Plenty of Towels and Toilet Paper. A Iron and Ironing Board. TV , Hair dryer and Frig. I was Shocked for two People in The Room it wasn't Enough Soap or Shampoo Etc. the Bottles were like minture doll sizes. And there was No Microwave to heat up our Food. We Booked here because We thought it was a Pool Here. We wanted to Sit by The Pool ( Which was Clearly Advertised) but No Pool. So you should remove that from Your Website. It's False Advertising. On Vacation People want that laid back relaxed vibe. So sitting by The Pool with a Cool Drink/ Cocktail and Book would have been good The Staff was Great and Professional. Gave Good Advice on Things to do and See. Locations. Greeted Us kindly and with a Smile. Very Caring. Helping Us to our room with luggage Overall Our Stay Here was nice. Four Stars. And We enjoyed ourselves. Would consider staying here again. But with No Pool No Decent Toiletries and No Microwave Room Prices shouldn't be over $89/90. Parking Should be Free. We are staying at Your Hotel. And shouldn't be charged for that. I can See Valet Parking. Thank You for Helping to.make Our Trip. A Safe and Enjoyable One

If you just want to have a place to sleep this is it. There in no amenities. No breakfast only thing is free water and coffee. They gave you a coupon for 5.00 adult beverages you had to buy a drink over 10.00. The hotel next door the Cambria gave us a list of places to eat and see in the walking distance. The Cambria Hotel has breakfast and food menu. TYRP has nothing. No suggestions. Front desk could use some hospitality training. Don't recommend. We stayed five days
Experience with this hotel was so-so. 4 stars might be a bit generous. Hotel was under construction but even so its entrance is odd and obnoxious. Two single sliding doors (one from the street and another into the lobby) with the valet situated between them. If you and another person meet going opposite directions you won’t be able to pass each other at all. Chances are you won’t even see them until you start walking through your first door. The rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable which seems rare at some hotels. The views are so-so. It’s not a tall building so you aren’t really overlooking the city. Some of the repairs to walls and fixtures looked a little like “landlord special” repairs. Parking is offsite at the garage across the street even though it looks like they have a garage under the hotel? Is not included in your stay. It’s in a nice area and Savannah is very walkable, but for the price you might be better off in another hotel.
Our stay at the TYRP Downtown Savannah was outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and customer service exceeded our expectations. Jane at the front desk was welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Ricardo with valet service was friendly, efficient, and provided exceptional service every time we needed assistance. A special thank you to the entire night shift team for their attentiveness, kindness, and commitment to making guests feel valued and comfortable. Their dedication truly made our stay memorable. We highly recommend TYRP Downtown Savannah and look forward to returning!
We stayed at the TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District over Memorial Day weekend and had a very pleasant experience. We arrived around 1:00 AM and were greeted by Joel, who immediately made us feel welcome. He was friendly, professional, and spoke three languages, including Spanish. As a person with mobility challenges, I especially appreciated that he took the time to assist us to our room. The excellent service continued throughout our stay. Both the day and evening staff were attentive, courteous, and always willing to help. During our visit, the hotel was completing renovations in the front lobby. Contrary to some reviews I had read beforehand, the work was not an inconvenience at all. In fact, by the end of our stay, the renovations were completed, and the lobby looked fantastic. The hotel is conveniently located downtown, with the riverfront about a 10 to 15-minute walk away. One thing mobility-impaired travelers should be aware of is that many of the historic streets near the waterfront are uneven, brick-paved, and not particularly friendly to mobility scooters or wheelchairs. This is more of a characteristic of the historic district than the hotel itself, but it’s worth noting. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Between the friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location, I would gladly stay here again.
