This is a lovely hotel, but unfortunately not food allergy friendly! Be cautious! I attended a work event that was catered here. I submitted an order several days in advance and flagged allergies at that time. The order was literally a salad with steak and asked them to leave off cheese and the crostini as I’m allergic to dairy and gluten. The first time I received a salad with cheese and no steak. The staff from my team that helped coordinate everything sent it back and reminded them of the original order and my allergies. The second time a new salad came out WITH CHEESE. The server said “here’s your allergy friendly order.” And I inquired about the feta cheese spread across the bottom of the plate. (I thought wow maybe they have vegan cheese?) Nope, she confirmed it was cheese and I explained a third time I’m severely allergic to dairy. She took it back to be “remade.” When it came out the 3rd time, there was no cheese on the bottom of the plate, but I could still see visible cheese on the cucumber and one of the steak slices. I picked those items off and was made sure not to eat anything that had been touching the cheese. About 3 bites in, I went into an anaphylactic reaction and had to stop eating as my throat was swelling up making it hard to breathe or talk. Thankfully I had Benadryl with me, but I did not have my EpiPen as the Westin is a brand I previously trusted. Based on this reaction, I don’t think the food was remade and was all cross contaminated. Not only was I unable to eat lunch there at all, I was on a limited timeframe to find food before my flight. This error has also caused me 3 days (so far) of suffering from post food allergy reactions, which are very similar to having the flu plus hives. I am supremely disappointed in this experience, especially when my team and I did everything possible to prevent this from happening. I literally just wanted to eat lettuce and protein and they could not accommodate this simple request.

The whole staff was so kind, patient, actively listened to concerns & requests, gave great recommendations for restaurants, tourist spots, florists, shopping! The room was immaculate. No weird smells, "Crunchy" carpet, nor loud hum of cooling/heating system. Rooms were quite because I was at the end of hall. I felt safe as solo traveler. The Westin was true laid back luxury ✨️ 😌
We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is great—it’s a very peaceful spot but still super close to the city. Our room had a view of the pond, which was incredibly relaxing and peaceful to look at. Parking is right next to the building, making it very convenient. That said, I’m not a big fan of having to pay for parking when a property isn't in the middle of a massive city and there is plenty of open space available. The overall service was great and the property has nice amenities. The only real downsides were the in-room dining hours, which were limited and didn't quite work out for us, and the Wi-Fi, which was quite slow and lagged in performance. Overall, a great spot with just a couple of areas that could use improvement!
Great location, but there were some disappointments. I recently stayed at this Westin property for two nights. While the hotel was overall okay, there were several frustrations that impacted the quality of our stay. The most significant issue was the elevator situation. With two out of the four elevators out of service, wait times were unacceptable. We spent over 20 minutes waiting for an elevator on two separate occasions, which made coming and going from the hotel a major inconvenience. Additionally, I was disappointed with the room itself. We paid for a high floor room and are platinum elite members, yet we were assigned a room on the seventh floor, which did not feel reflective of the upgrade we purchased. Furthermore, the bathroom design was lacking; it was extremely cramped, and the lighting was very poor, making it difficult to use for basic grooming. The full length mirror in the room had a shelf across the middle, making it as useless as the weirdly lit bathroom mirror. While the stay was functional, these issues prevented it from being a high-quality Westin experience. I hope the hotel addresses the elevator maintenance and reviews their room assignment and bathroom lighting standards soon.
After the Element cancelled our reservation last minute, we booked the Westin Perimeter for our 5-day spring break trip — and honestly, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. From the moment we arrived, Giselle at the front desk put us completely at ease and made us feel confident we’d made the right choice. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful, but what truly set this stay apart was the staff. Every morning, my 6 and 9-year-old daughters stopped for their Starbucks drinks, and baristas Laura and Chelsea were so warm and attentive — they actually held conversations with my girls and made them feel so special. Valet Zion was a gem — personable, kind, and just a genuinely lovely young man. And the housekeeping team? They noticed my daughters’ stuffed animals and arranged them in a sweet little display on the beds each day. That small, thoughtful touch meant the world to us. This hotel delivered a top-tier experience from check-in to check-out. I will absolutely recommend the Westin Perimeter to anyone visiting Atlanta. We’ll be back! 🌟
