I hosted my family and friends at the Hamilton for my wedding weekend this past spring, and we had an amazing experience! All of our guests loved their stay, and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice. I want to give a special thank you to Aleytys Isbell, the Social Sales Manager, who exemplified true hospitality throughout the entire process. Aleytys was accommodating, helpful, flexible, and incredibly kind. She made booking our wedding hotel accommodations and welcome drinks such a seamless and enjoyable experience. Planning a wedding comes with a lot of moving pieces, and having someone like Aleytys to work with made all the difference. I truly couldn’t have imagined a better experience, and I’m so grateful for the care and attention she gave us. The Hamilton was the perfect place to host our guests, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone planning a wedding or special event!

I don't see the added value of this hotel versus all of the competition in the area. Albeit there are many restaurants in the area and the interior design is sort of a southern charm. But the amenities are limited. No sauna or pool and a limited gym space for less than 4 people. The air conditioner broke while I was there and I had to move rooms. The room fridge is tiny and the room is about the same size as a Holiday inn with a well used bed that isn't very comfortable. The hotel front desk staff were nice and competent. Parking rates are INSANE at $45 and breakfast isn't included in the already bloated price. It's Alpharetta GA, not Manhattan NY or San Diego CA... If you do decide to stay at this hotel, know that there is zero parking around the block, however, there is general public free parking structure about a block south that I was able to use since I was already locked into the hotel non-refundable policy. This was probably one of the more inconvenient hotels that I had to deal with in my career. The charged fee for a Wednesday night was $265... that's CA prices. outrageous.
My husband and I recently stayed at The Hamilton in Historic Downtown Alpharetta, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the valet service was seamless, the front desk staff was welcoming, and every team member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating. The hotel is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and very well organized, making our stay completely stress free. One of my favorite details was how The Hamilton showcases local artists throughout the property, giving the hotel a unique character while supporting the community. They also offer several beautiful meeting spaces, making it a great choice for both business travelers and weekend getaways. Although we did not have a chance to eat at the onsite restaurant, we heard wonderful things about it from others during our stay. The location is truly hard to beat. Being in Historic Downtown Alpharetta means you can walk to fantastic coffee shops, amazing restaurants, unique boutiques, and plenty of shopping without ever needing to get back in your car. The entire area is clean, vibrant, and feels incredibly safe. If you are looking for a luxury hotel in Alpharetta, Georgia or the perfect place to stay while exploring Historic Downtown Alpharetta, I highly recommend The Hamilton. We had an amazing experience and cannot wait to come back.
I was really disappointed with our stay at the Hamilton Hotel in Alpharetta. We expected a much better experience from a hotel of this level, but several issues throughout our stay made it frustrating. When we arrived, we were unable to use valet because no one on staff was able to drive a manual transmission vehicle. While we appreciated that they allowed us to park out front, we were still charged the $40 valet fee even though we had to park the vehicle ourselves and did not receive valet service. This was very disappointing. After checking into our room, we immediately noticed that the floor was wet. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone, but the phone was not working. I had to call from my personal phone instead, and they eventually moved us to another room. Later that evening, we went to the hotel bar hoping to have a drink before going to bed. Unfortunately, the bartender was extremely rude and made us feel unwelcome. He immediately asked what we wanted and stated that he was about to do last call in a very dismissive way. Because of the poor attitude and lack of hospitality, we decided not to order anything and went back to our room. Overall, this stay was disappointing. While some staff members were helpful when issues were brought to their attention, the combination of being charged for a service we did not receive, a room with issues upon arrival, a broken room phone, and poor service at the bar did not meet the expectations we had for this hotel. Update: After posting my original review, I want to recognize the Hamilton Hotel’s management team for how they handled the situation. The manager personally reached out to me and took the time to listen to my concerns. He genuinely wanted to make things right and ensure we felt valued as guests. I really appreciate the effort, professionalism, and willingness to address the issue rather than ignore it. A great management team is shown by how they respond when something doesn’t go perfectly, and I’m thankful for the way this was handled. Thank you for taking the time to follow up and make our experience better.
From start to finish, my experience with The Hamilton Alpharetta was truly exceptional. The team made the entire process seamless, from coordinating the reservation to the day of our visit. Every interaction was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The staff was incredibly helpful, responsive, and welcoming, which made a big difference in creating an stress-free and enjoyable experience. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for our time there. On top of that, the drinks were stellar and the food was delicious, which added even more to the overall experience. What stood out most was how easy everything felt. The communication was clear, the accommodations were exactly as described, and the team ensured everything ran smoothly without any issues. JJ, Aleytys, Dee, and Tristan are amazing and such an asset to Hilton! Wish I could rate a 10 out of 10, everything was stellar! I would absolutely recommend The Hamilton Alpharetta to anyone looking for a well-managed, elevated experience. I look forward to visiting again in the future.
