Lack-luster experience at the Reverb in Downtown Atlanta: (EDIT: Support has responded to review.) Where to begin? First, I'll give them this: The location is great! There's a lot of potential for this space. Being close to our concert made things a lot easier for us in terms of parking, walking, etc. Upon arriving around 1:50/2:00 after I had booked early check-in, we were told no rooms were available. This is after I had called and emailed to get assurance we would be able to immediately check-in since we had a pet with us. About twenty minutes later after setting our luggage in the lobby and trying to control our anxious dog, I went back to the front desk to add our parking. Thankfully, I was holding our pet. "OH I didn't know she had a dog!", The employee stated. We were able to check in right after. Yet, this was not the only bad experience we had in the first few 30 minutes of our arrival at the Reverb. A card I had given an employee was suddenly being swiped by her thru the payment terminal. I was told it was to have a card on file only, which I know is basic hotel etiquette. Imagine my disbelief when the entire payment for our stay was taken out of it. I was not told ahead of time, and only found out later that they had done this because our credit card did not go thru while booking months ago. It's understanable that the hotel requires payment, but with no heads up given and no apologies for the inconvience it felt as if we had been tricked. The room was okay. The rooftop bar was closed because it was a Tuesday. You have to pay a fee to unlock your in-room fridge. The ice machine didn't fully work.. What else is there to say? Oh, and to round it all out - Imagine us walking down to our included breakfast (I made sure to book with the breakfast coupons) to find out we didn't have it. I kept talking to the front desk employee, and finally after showing my reservation that proved we had it all she said was "Well I'm not going to fight with you." So, if you want a place with a great location here's your place. Just be aware that you'll leave needing a vacation far away from the Reverb Atlanta.

The hotel itself is beautiful, well decorated, and the room was clean, so unfortunately, the experience could have been much better. I arrived around midnight after missing my flight, already stressed and exhausted. I completely understand requiring a security deposit — that is perfectly normal. What I do not understand is having a policy where the deposit can only be paid with a physical credit/debit card. No cash, no Apple Pay, no online payment, and apparently no alternative whatsoever. Instead of simply offering a reasonable solution to a tired guest arriving at midnight, I was left to figure it out myself. I had to spend a considerable amount of time trying to find a prepaid card that would work just to be able to check into the hotel. At that hour, with most places already closed, this was incredibly inconvenient and completely unnecessary. And apparently, the experience wasn’t quite finished. Although check-out is at 11 AM, someone decided it was appropriate to knock on my door at 9 AM while I was sleeping to ask about check-out. After arriving at midnight, this was exactly the kind of “wake-up call” I was hoping not to receive. It is honestly disappointing because the hotel is beautiful and the room itself was nice. But good decoration and clean rooms don't make up for policies that show very little consideration for guests or situations that are clearly outside their control. Beautiful hotel, clean room, but a very frustrating and unnecessarily stressful experience. Hopefully management reviews these policies and considers offering actual alternatives instead of simply telling exhausted guests, “you have to pay with a physical card.”
We had a 1-night stay at the REVERB as we were attending a show at the State Farm Arena. Arriving was fine, easy to find- Parking was plentiful but expensive, however they were upfront about that. The check in process was one of the most interesting I've seen in all the years I've been going to hotels. They have it setup so you can "self-check-in" but then there is someone there to basically just do it for you. The person we spoke to was great and helpful, but we had to then stand in a second line to have the parking added to our room key. Honestly, the entire process just felt clunky. Proximity to the State Farm arena was great not even a 10-minute walk. The room was clean but we on the 2nd floor next to the street. There were a few things that made the stay not as enjoyable as it should have been. The first was the AC unit. It was comically loud. Honestly when you turned the AC on it sounded like a jet engine was firing up. There is a hum that you hear when you are on a plane, imagine that multiplied by about 10. So, your options were to leave the AC off and get hot, along with hear all sorts of road noise and rooftop bar noise (even all the way down at the 2nd floor) or turn it on, drowning out all other noises except for the bonus motorcycle noise that occasionally happens. Finally, the shower was bizarre. It seemed that water pressure and temperature were linked. Want high water pressure? Prepare to deal with very hot water. It's possible I was doing something wrong there, but I've never struggled with a shower before. Overall, the people at the hotel that I interacted with were all very nice, I want to be clear about that. I also did not complain in person the next morning as it was just a single night stay. Had we been staying longer I would have asked for a solution or honestly moved hotels. Would I stay again, no. Would I recommend to family or friends, honestly no. My take is that it’s a rooftop bar and event parking that happens to have hotel rooms.
We stayed from July 23-25, 2026. The staff was super fun and friendly! The rooms were clean. We had a great view of Mercedes-Benz from our basic room. No upgrade needed. The location is perfect. We pre-booked parking down the street through Spot Hero for $45 total. It was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel but we left the car parked the whole weekend so that was worth the savings.
Great stay with a stellar staff! Last month I stayed at the Reverb for two nights while in town for work at the nearby Databank datacenter. The location was incredibly convenient for our needs. First and foremost, the staff here were fantastic. Genuinely courteous, respectful, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire stay—absolutely zero issues with service. As for the food, Friday night’s dinner was really good. On Saturday night, they were serving "event food," which was honestly just okay. While I didn't personally have any drinks, the bar area has a great look to it and seemed like a really fun spot to hang out. Overall a solid, comfortable stay and I'd definitely recommend it.
