Parking is terrible. The room had a bright flashing light from the AC unit that could not be turned off. The light was flashing because the AC filter was dirty. The dining experience is HORRIBLE. Do not eat here. We waited an hour for our food (a waffle and French toast) and our waitress never checked on us. She took the order of people who came in after us first. After ordering and waiting 45 minutes for our food we flagged her down and asked her much longer it would take. She said she would check and never came back. Horrible service for mediocre food. The only positive about the hotel is the front desk attendant. He was positive, friendly, and the only reason the hotel got a 2 star instead of 1.

Do not book here! I made the mistake of only looking at the reviews (mostly positive) on Hotels.com and not here. While check-in was smooth, when we first arrived to our room we were taken by surprise. There was tape all over the ceiling that was clearly left over from the previous guests. There was cleaning solution in the toilet with wads of toilet paper inside as well as blue masking tape all over the bathtub faucet. 5 minutes after getting into the room, the front desk called to ask how everything was. When we told her, she stated she would check with engineering and get back to us. She called back to say that room wasn’t supposed to be assigned and she would immediately get us another room. When she did give us the new room keys, she let us know the phone wasn’t working in our new room. Although the room was decent, I felt it could have been cleaner. Another inconvenience was that only one of four elevators were working. There was one evening after getting back from dinner that there was a line for the elevator all the way backed up to reception! Finally, during checkout I noticed an airline pilot who had to let the front desk know that the SECOND room he was assigned was also NOT CLEAN! This is unacceptable. The only reason I didn’t give it 1 star was due to service recovery. After the mistake with the room, we were given a credit to spend $100 on food or snacks on the property, which was used for the breakfast buffet ($30 a person!). Overall, save yourself the headache and do NOT stay here.
From the moment we arrived, we were directed exactly where we needed to go and greeted by Malique, who gave us such a warm and genuine welcome. After driving 7½ hours from Florida with my wife and our 9-month-old baby, you can imagine how welcoming and appreciated that felt after such a long drive. Malique offered to assist us with our luggage and even checked on us during the check-in process to make sure everything was going smoothly. That level of attentiveness really stood out to me. During check-in, I believe the young lady’s name was LP, and she was absolutely wonderful as well. She was extremely welcoming, told us about breakfast the following morning, and let us know that if we needed anything at all, we shouldn’t hesitate to ask. She got us into our room quickly and even took the time to interact with our baby, which was such a nice personal touch. The aesthetic of Hotel Colee is incredible. Everything feels lively, fun, and unique, from the lobby all the way to the room. The entire hotel was very clean and had so many interesting details to look at. It really gave the hotel its own personality. The staff truly made our stay special. 10/10 for the hospitality and customer service, and I would absolutely stay here again! A huge thank-you to Malique, LP, the valet team, and the entire front desk staff for making my family and me feel so welcomed after such a long drive. We really appreciate you all!
Came down for a few nights for my bday weekend. Can't say enough about how satisfied we were with our stay. From the moment we got out of our vehicle, the valet was welcoming and wished us a wonderful stay. When we checked in, we were greeted by not 1, but 3 friendly smiles. I wanted to give special recognition to the 3 Js, JP, James, and Jessica. When they saw that we had traveled a long distance to stay with them and that it was in fact my bday, they gave us a swag bag and made us feel extra welcome. During our stay, anytime we entered or exited, we were always greeted with a smile and a wave of the hand. I never got her name but there was also a lovely African American lady who seemed to run the coffee bar/reataurant but she too was always checking in on us making sure we had everything we needed when we dined at the restaurant or were sitting at the bar having an espresso or a cocktail. Entire facility, specifically the rooms were extremely clean and vibrant. Location is also amazing, everything is literally 5-10 mins away. The aquarium, i think was only a 20 minute Uber ride and that was on a busy Saturday morning.
Pros: Great staff. Beautiful room. Good location. Cons: Main areas desperately need a refresh. Hall carpets are in disrepair. Pool deck was dirty and had broken tiles. I wanted to relax out there but was not able. Our room was quiet but there is a rooftop venue that brings a lot of party traffic through the hotel. Stay here if you want to enjoy a night out in Buckhead, otherwise I would not recommend.
