Huge shout out and 10 stars to Stephanie in housekeeping. We had just checked out and she went to clean our room. She saw a bag we had left followed us to our car to let us know! She went above and beyond and made our day. Thank you Stephanie!!

I can't believe I was charged for incompetence on the staffs' part. Hair dye and blood(wet/dry) arecompletely different textures and colors. Out of all 3 HILTON hotels i have been this weekend this is the ONLY one trying to pass on this charge as justified! And besides that the bed was hard as a rock(pull out sofa felt better) and breakfast only came with 1 small cup of apple juice per meal! I wish I could rate them higher cause usually the service is top notch and for what the server and front desk person did: It is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. Again the other Hilton hotels this weekend were great! I do notknow why this one had to beso difficult. I hope I get to speak to a manager soon. Mabye some of this can be resolved. Update: Thanks for the conflicting update! This definetly was a 1 star stay. Blood counts as a biohazard and WILL not go through a cleaning process. Therefore they didn't try cleaning it and assumed will low level competance of a situation.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbus, GA. I drove more than four hours for a business trip, leaving around 12:30 p.m. and arriving at approximately 4:41 p.m. Before leaving, I had already checked in through the Hilton Honors app, selected Room 120 on the first floor, and received my digital key. After a long drive, I was exhausted and looking forward to resting. I’m a 100% disabled U.S. military veteran with mobility limitations. I also suffer from severe vertigo, which makes using elevators extremely difficult, so I intentionally selected a first-floor room to accommodate my disability. When I arrived, my digital key wouldn’t work. After going to the front desk, I was shocked to learn that someone else was already occupying my room. The manager, Anthony, told me that he had checked another guest into Room 120 because of “similar names.” That explanation is unacceptable. I had already completed the check-in process through the app, selected my room, and received a digital key. I don’t understand how another guest could be assigned to a room that was already checked into. This wasn’t a reservation mix-up—it was a failure in room assignment and verification. To make matters worse, I was told there were no other first-floor rooms available. Because of an error that was entirely the hotel’s responsibility, I was reassigned to Room 209 on the second floor. That meant walking the full length of the hotel to reach the stairs, climbing to the second floor, and then walking nearly the entire hallway again to reach my room. After a four-hour drive, with swollen feet and knee pain, this was physically difficult and could have been avoided. As a Hilton guest, I expect the room I have already checked into to actually be available when I arrive. More importantly, I expect reasonable care and consideration when a guest has a disability that affects mobility. Instead, I was inconvenienced because of an avoidable mistake, and the burden of that mistake was placed entirely on me. I hope Hilton reviews its procedures to ensure that once a guest has checked in digitally and been assigned a room, that room cannot be reassigned to someone else. No guest should have to begin their stay this way, especially when traveling long distances and relying on accessibility accommodations.
this hotel exceeded every expectation and truly deserves five stars from the moment we arrived and checked in with Brian until the day we checked out, everything was absolutely outstanding. The rooms are spotless, beautiful maintain an incredibly comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in making it easy to relax and get a great nights rest. The food was a exceptional. Every meal was fresh blamable and expertly prepared by Tere. The staff was welcoming attentive and made us feel valued throughout our stay every detail reflected excellence and it was clear that the hotel takes great pride and providing an outstanding guest service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfort, quality and topknot service. We will definitely be back.
This hotel has lost the loyalty of longtime Hilton Honors members. For the past four years, my husband has stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn almost every week while traveling for business. We chose this location because of its beautiful setting, the peaceful lake, the convenience of the on-site restaurant, and the excellent relationship we believed we had with management. Over the last two years, hotel management specifically approved him to park his truck and trailer in the same designated location during every stay. This was not a fire lane, there was no red curb, and the arrangement had never been an issue. After parking in the same approved location for two years with management’s knowledge and permission, there was every reason to believe the arrangement would continue. Tonight, after he had already settled into his room and was preparing for bed, the front desk called and told him he needed to move his truck and trailer because the hotel expected to be busy. They instructed him to move it to a very dark, isolated area. Unsafe. The issue isn’t simply being asked to move. It’s the complete disregard for a loyal guest who had been staying here week after week for four years and had been parking in that same approved location for the past two years with management’s permission. There was no appreciation for his loyalty, no attempt to honor the longstanding agreement, and no effort to find a reasonable solution. I had already stopped staying at this hotel after noticing a strong mold odor on the fourth floor during one of our visits, but my husband continued to give them his business because he trusted the staff and valued the relationship. Instead of feeling like a valued Hilton Honors member, he felt like an inconvenience. He packed his belongings, checked out, requested a refund, and will be taking his business to another hotel. It’s disappointing that after four years of loyalty, this relationship ended because management failed to stand behind an arrangement they themselves had approved. Loyal customers deserve better.
