Cloudland At Mclemore Resort Lookout Mountain, Curio By Hilton

Come enjoy it now while it exists as it is because I forsee a belly up years from now. They can't have the volume of visitors to sustain the overhead costs long run, I think. Only people here are being driven by Hilton points. The nearest town with any real entertainment is Chattanooga, TN which is approximately 30 miles away. The property is only 2 yrs old. It is in emaculate shape. It is gorgeous inside and out. The people working here are friendly and courteous. The views couldn't be better except maybe in the fall. Our room is beautiful , well planned, comfortable, has everything one would need. It feels luxurious and we have the standard king size bed room. There are full service restaurants on property which I will review separately. As I write this, I am walking a trail that is very enjoyable. Is in good shape and fairly easy to access. If you love the woods and nature it is worthwhile

We couldnt have been treated better by the staff and valet at this hotel. We visited for our Anniversary and it did not disappoint! The customer service and the concierge were beyond helpful and super nice and accommodating with our room type and request. This should be a 5 star hotel rating on Google not 4 stars. You dont even need to leave the property. It has a modern day Coffee shop that serves 3 types of homemade pizzas, tons of pastries, and Gelato ice cream until about 9:30pm. The Croft. Restaurant has about as good as breakfast as you can find. Chicken sausage was our favorite 😍. There is another restaurant by the pool called the sky with the best view you have ever had at a restaurant guaranteed. The 3rd restaurant Auld Alliance is a super dining experience and custom steaks soo good.that you dont even need steak sauce with. 1 last highlight most people dont know. This property has free complimentary E-Bikes! We brought or E bikes but didnt even need to get them off the truck. Never seen this at a hotel as a free Amenity. Hoping they will open that giant pool across the road for the hotel eventually as well.

TL;DR, stay at this property! 😎 I had the best time at this property, I wish I stayed longer than one night. For Hilton diamond members, they provide a complimentary dessert from 4-5 pm. I had a chocolate desert. Dessert wasn’t too big, but the right size and was a great snack to hold me over until dinner. The concierge provides a property tour which was very helpful. They also provide two complimentary drinks per person at the coffee shop - can pick from beer, wine or their drink of the day. I went with the drink and it was ok but I very much appreciate a property providing this amenity for their guest. My room overlooked the mountains and was the best view. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were nice. The pool was nice, great views as well and the drinks at the pool were nice. Could benefit from some more lounging chairs but I still had an excellent time, great service at the pool. Food looked good but didn’t have a meal there. The highlight of the trip was Auld Alliance and Mallory, she provided the best service and made the dinner very memorable. I had the butchers reserve, which is enough for two meals! I finished my morning with a hike around the property and had even more great views.

Just returned from a special occasion weekend away at one of Hilton's newer gems. The resort is beautiful, modern, yet looks like it belongs nestled in the cliff. Rooms have everything you could need and nicely decorated. We did a little hike, attended the interesting animal encounter, spent hours at the pool and watching the sky turn purple at sunset from the hot tub. The lunch restaurant/bar by the pool has great views, attentive staff and good drinks/food. We loved breakfast at Croft (dinner not quite as much) and had a great meal at the Creag, a short golf cart ride away at the golf course. That restaurant has stunning views as well. Loved seeing many dogs there as well, such a nice perk to be able to travel with your pets. Highly recommend!
