Chateau Elan Winery & Resort

My husband surprised me for my birthday with a trip to Chateau Elan Winery and Spa. When we checked in the room was big and the decor was warm and inviting. They had rose petals on the bed as well as in the tub. There was a bottle of wine, bubble bath and candles for later. It was really romantic. There was chocolate covered strawberries. We did the wine tour a few hours later. It was very informative and it was fun trying the different wines although my husband and I don’t really drink. We liked the sweet fruity wines the best. We found out they are called the dessert wines. We had 2 different bottle shipped home before we left. After the tour we enjoyed the room and later we had reservations at the steak restaurant on the grounds. The next morning at 9am we checked into the spa and were given robes to wear until we were called for our facials and massages. We ate breakfast in our robes at the spa restaurant and it tasted great. We then walked outside and laid on the daybed that is near the lake. Then our names were called for our services. When I finished I got in the sauna and the hot tub. We shopped at the store in the spa. We went back to our room around 2 to 3pm. We were so relaxed we took a nap until it was time to go to a local restaurant in the area with great reviews. The next morning we slept in and checked out late. I would love to stay again, this time in the rooms located in the building with the spa. Those rooms have access to all the spa amenities your entire stay.

Just had the most incredible weekend stay at Chateau Elan! My check in experience with Virginia was great, my breakfast meals with Rodrigo were fantastic! Super charismaticand professional, and dinner with Al was fantastic, they were all exceptional! They definitely made me feel special and welcomed to this resort. The food was incredible, the wine was incredible, the room was very clean and had zero problems. There is so much to do here so be ready to be moving around from restaurant to restaurant to bar to winery to pool to firepit, and many more activities! Definitely recommend staying here!

The resort was beautiful! Tilton was wonderful as we arrived and assisted with our baggage and a quick tour to our room. Our suite was beautiful, but the bedding was horrible. The room temperature was set to 72 when we checked in and with daily temps of 86, a call to engineering, it took 2 days to get a room temp Of 68 which was only comfortable. The spa experience was exceptional. Rodney was amazing!! The massage was as so good! The food was so good at Paddy’s. The service in the hotel was less than amazing because of a large wedding which apparently exhausted the staff from other restaurants on property. We enjoyed our weekend, but expected so much more for the expense .

I had a wonderful experience at the spa. I booked a 50-minute massage with Dawn, and she was absolutely amazing. She has such a calming, soothing personality and immediately made me feel comfortable. Throughout the massage, she checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable and adjusted the pressure whenever needed. Her attention to detail and genuine care really stood out. I’ll definitely be booking with her again. The only issue during my visit was with hotel check-in, not the spa. There was a technical issue with the hotel’s check-in system that prevented guests from checking into their rooms for about an hour. While the delay was frustrating, the hotel manager, Iffy, really stood out. Instead of simply waiting for the system to come back online, she took the initiative to work through the issue and find a solution. Her leadership, professionalism, and proactive approach made all the difference. She personally made the situation right, and I truly appreciated the way she handled everything. The spa experience itself was excellent, and despite the hotel check-in delay, I had a great overall stay and would definitely return.
