Daniela was a kind host. She was patient in her teaching. She was friendly and knowledgeable. The food we made was amaziiiinggg!!! I’ve never had pasta this delicious. I highly recommend this experience and Daniela!

Tomaso and his helper were phenomenal. They both were very knowledgeable and explained the whole process in detail. First, we were welcomed into Tomaso’s home, given warm focaccia bread and white wine while waiting to get started. Tomaso did an excellent job showing us how to work the ingredients and also gave us the proportions so we can make the pasta/tiramisu back at home. After everything was prepped, they finished cooking the meal and then we were able to enjoy our creation. It was a wonderful experience making authentic Italian food, with knowledgeable chefs, while getting to experience a charming Italian home. Our hosts also gave us a recommendation for a short sightseeing excursion we could take before we had to head back to our cruise ship. If you want a unique experience I would not hesitate to book this!

We were a family of 9 onboard Sun Princess. This was a great experience for all of us Tomaso and his assistant were super friendly and engaging! Would do it again the only two hiccups- I wish Viator would tell you after you get dropped off you’d have to walk about .5-1.0 mile - it was hard for my mom on the heat. Italians don’t love air conditioning so it would have been better to have many fans going. Italian music thruout the event would be a great add on - truly enjoyed the day - thank you!!

We were 6 and had a really great time! We made tiramisu, 2 types of pasta and enjoyed it with some sparkling wine and pesto that was already made. Tiziana wasn’t just showing us how to make everything, but explained the recipe and how many people it would be for, so we could make it again later at home if we wanted to! Definitely recommend :)

This was an incredible experience! We were welcomed into Daniela’s beautiful home where she taught us how to make two types of pasta, two sauces and tiramisu. She served us drinks and food and even sent us the recipes to recreate at home! It was so much fun and felt like the true Italian experience. Would recommend to all age groups 😊

A lovely experience with our wine flu hosts, Tiziana & Roberto. There were 3 of us in the class and we had a very hands-on learning experience making tiramisu and 2 kinds of fresh pasta. It was exactly what I needed to gain knowledge & confidence for making fresh pasta in my own kitchen when I get home.

Emanuela is an incredible host - caring, engaging, funny, and an excellent cook! We had a class for a group of high school students from Poland, and they enjoyed it so much that we overstayed the time by an hour, chatting, eating lunch, and enjoying Manu's hospitality. Her home is also a gem - the terrace with a panoramic view of the Ligurian coast made our experience ever more unforgettable!

Absolutely fabulous time with Andrea learning all about Ligurian culture and cuisine. We learned how to make pasta and tiramisu and had a fabulous meal together. Definitely a highlight of our trip! We would recommend it to anyone.

Great fun and a delicious meal at the end of the experience. We initially went to the wrong meeting point so check your messages as you will be redirected to he correct address once booked. We arrived at the address and initially thought it was very intimate as the experience was at the hosts home. This was soon squashed as we got into the experience. We were explained the recipe and then given the opportunity to get stuck in. We shared the experience with another couple who took in turns with us to add the ingredients, mix them and pretty much do everything else to create two wonderfully pasta dishes and a desert. We then sat down and we're served our creations. And wow, they were very tasty and washed down with wine. A great experience and highly recommended, get out of your comfort zone and do it. You won't be disappointed.

WOW! What a wonderful experience. Tiziana and Roberto were fabulous hosts who made my mother feel extra special whilst celebrating her birthday. The experience was well organised and ran very smoothly, enabling us time to cook three separate dishes! This was an unforgettable day and we would highly recommend to any other travellers who are stopping in the Genova region. This was one of our favorite excursions during our trip. We were invited into the home of our wonderful host Daniela taught us how to make two pasta dishes, two sauces and tiramisu. My two children also took part. This is an excellent thing to do for the whole family, and you get to learn how to make pasta. We spent a rainy morning in Genoa with two of the loveliest people in Italy, Tiziana and Roberto. They welcomed us into their home. We made pasta, ravioli and Tiramisu - and a lifelong memory. Tiziana also made fresh focaccia. The smell of the fresh bread baking as we made our pasta was incredible. Roberto had made fresh pesto for the pasta - it was heavenly! As we shared our meal, Roberto provided a history lesson on Genoa and it's importance in history. We sat and chatted, drinking prosecco, and swapping stories. When it was time to leave, we all shed a tear. It was as if we were leaving a friend's home. Due to the rain, Roberto gave us an impromptu guided tour along the backstreets to hail us a taxi to take us back to the port. This was more than a 'cooking class', it was a life changing experience. Roberto left us with one request - to take some focaccia back with us, and while holding your coffee in your left hand, dip the focaccia 3 times with your right hand and ENJOY!! We did, and we DID! We had a delightful evening with Tiziana and Roberto making pasta and tiramisu. They were very welcoming, the company entertaining and informative, and the food was delicious! This class was great for all skill levels. We appreciated learning about some of the local traditions and history along with the technical aspects of making these food dishes. Robert and Tiziana were very welcoming and funny hosts who we enjoyed spending the evening with. I am allergic to pine nuts, and Tiziana kindly made me a separate pesto for our delicious homemade pasta. I would recommend this experience highly!

It was in someone’s home that has a cat & dog. Didn’t feel very clean . I am also allergic to cats. The husband talked the entire time so it was hard for us to completely enjoy our food without feeling awkward . We felt like we needed to listen . It was odd to eat in front of them when they were not eating. They are a very sweet couple. The space was very small. The food was great however it just wasn’t what we expected.

Tiziana shared her secrets of Italian cuisine as we laughed and learned together, making excellent pasta and tiramisu. They even opened a lovely wine to accompany our meal. We really enjoyed our conversations and realized that they are passionate about promoting a love for quality food and traditional cooking with love. What began as a cooking class ended with us feeling like we had made new friends.
