A really good ‘hidden gems’ walk, as described, although we did go past the cathedral and the old port so everything was covered. Perfect to be away from the cruise ship hoards doing the main sights. Antonio our guide was a good communicator via WhatsApp as to where exactly to meet, and his history knowledge was impeccable. Recommend this walk.

This was hidden gems rather than top sights (we’ve been to Genoa before) but Cathedral and old port were covered. Really interesting and informative, Antonio was a very knowledgeable guide with a clear thirst for history. Recommend this tour.

It was an interesting experience. Lots to learn but beyond that, it’s the impression of bygone centuries that is Genoa’s charm. The old and new palazzo’s and towers will stay with me together with their stories.

Megan was friendly and pleasant throughout the tour and shared many facts about Genoa. However it was disappointing to not have someone local with a good knowledge and background of the city running the tour. This was somewhat misleading in the advertising.

Megan was excellent & very knowledgeable. It is a hilly walk & in the intense August heat, it was difficult for my elderly parents.

She had an incredible knowledge of Genoa history and provided pertinent context. I appreciated walking through the more “ remote “ areas that we would have otherwise not experienced on our own. Megan was a friendly guide on this private tour. Despite only recently being in Genoa, her historical knowledge was good. We walked around 3 miles through various parts of the city, kn the 2 hour tour.

The woman who gave the tour has been living in Genoa for 3 months Originally she came from Tennessee , USA She was nice, did her best. But all her knowledge was from internet and books. She had no local knowledge , never had such an experience Also the organization is to blame for their act and I will appreciate if the money is returned

Our guide was very knowledgeable. The meeting process was disorganized. The meeting instructions upon booking were vague, and the tour operators did not explain that additional instructions would be provided the morning of the tour on WhatsApp.

Guide moved us in no organized way. Guide was late and just left us at end of trip in different place than where we started. Just moved us from place to place

The guide Antonio did not arrive. We waited with other people for 20 minutes but no news. We were here for only one day and this destroyed our plans for the visit.

I booked the 11:30 tour. It was cancelled so they asked if I could take the 10:00 tour. I said yes, then that got cancelled too and they asked if I could take the tour the next day. I asked what time the tours were and got no reply.

Antonio was the best! Even before the tour started Antonio communicated through WhatsApp exactly where to meet him and how to identify him. During the tour, Antonio was pleasant and knowledgeable about Genoa's history. He guided us through traditional and unexpected sights and easily answered our questions. He also provided me with excellent restaurant recommendations. He certainly made my first visit to Genoa very special.

I booked a guided tour in Spanish and they just cancelled it a few hours before the tour. Very unprofessional and incompetent. Don’t book with them. That’s a German agency booking tours in Genoa. Not serious people.

Antonio was an excellent guide. He made it enjoyable and informative, building up a clear history for us and telling lots of interesting stories. He made us feel relaxed straight away and encouraged us to ask questions which we did. The route took us to many sights and hidden corners of the old city. We strongly recommend it for the beginning of your stay because he gave us an understanding of the whole city and he told us about places to eat and drink.

Antonio grew up in Genova and gave us a new appreciation for the combination of old and new and myriad alleys and piazzas. We enjoyed our tour very much. I only wish we could have taken it on our first day instead of the last. (His English is very good)

Nice and easy walk in the old area were "ordinary" people of Genoa live. Narrow streets, not a "tourist attraction" walk, which we found to be very interesting Great guide, full of info.

Fun and interesting walking tour! And our tour guide Ronny was amazing! He took us off the Main Street and dived into the deep and old town of Genova. We strolled through different small alleys, learning about the history and story of different palazzo and piazza. Highly recommended!

Antonio made the meeting point & time very easy.. he was very knowledgeable about the history of Genova and how it fit into the greater world. He was also very thoughtful of the pace for an older person.
