The location was excellent and it was so accessible to the old town and port and many visiting places. The rooms and service were amazing. The personnel were so polite and helpful specially Ermanno who speaks English with a very attractive Italian accent.

Overal, you get a cheap motel experience instead of an average hotel, let alone 5 star hotel!!! a smell of piss to remember. I would start with the pros. The location is great for someone who wants to walk to the aquarium. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. The restaraunt is also very good and has a great view. The cons: From the moment you want to enter the hotel it smells like piss, and as if they tried to cover that smell with cheap air dispenser used in autogrills. The corridor where hotel rooms are smells like mold and damp. It is like paying for a 5 star hotel and getting a cheap motel instead. The room itself is terrible. Small, outdated, the bathroom is a disgrace, the matrimonial bed is small, and the air conditioning is a joke.

Spacious and clean rooms. Our’s was family suite. It had 2 floors, 1.5 bath full bath on top floor with king bed and 1/2 downstairs with sofa bed. Bath robes, slippers, snacks, water and other basics were all set in the room. The front desk staff is so efficient, friendly and helpful. They do have water in the lobby as a welcome drink. The taxi is called by the front desk if we ask them, they were also very helpful with suggestions and recommendations as to what we could do with the time we had there. Breakfast was extra but it’s amazing. Location wise it’s 10-15 minutes walk to most places we wanted to go.

The hotel was fairly good but I did not like that the rooms have air cons that operate in a kind of permanent energy saving mode and cannot be really controlled by the guest in the room. So in case of a hot day in summer the rooms can get a bit hot over night. Maybe there is a reason for that, but its not something i would expect at this price level. It kind of spoils the entire package slightly, as otherwise the rooms are quite nice.
