Hotel Palazzo Grillo

You can always tell the customer service levels at a hotel by your first interactions with the registration/concierge staff. Ours with them was excellent from the start and continued during a truly lovely stay. Staying in a gorgeous Palazzo was superb. Breakfast was full of good, fresh foods and varied. We recommend this place since it checks all boxes to make your trip a wonderful experience.

Felt extremely unsafe in the area. Was informed by a fellow guest to be vigilant as the area is very unsafe due to the dark alleyways and its proximity to certain districts. Separate from this and more importantly, the room was severely below average for how much i paid. No one was available to help with my suitcases so I was left having to lug them up and down several staircases. No taxis can drop you at the hotel so you’ll have to walk with your suitcases. Just bad all in all did not enjoy my stay here was not worth the money

Met my expectations. Well located and beautiful palazzo. The breakfast on the terrace was charming. The renovation of the building was done with great taste. The little caffé next door is super cute. Would definitely come back.

Stunning hotel. Beautiful building, lovely staff. Cool lift! Breakfast on a sunny terrace was great- good choices including vegan options for me. Our room was fantastic- minimal scandi styling which complemented the original Architecture and overlooked the square. Location is central though I can understand why lone travellers may feel unsafe with the narrow alleyways and people loitering in them. The Fabbro restaurant on the square was also a brilliant place to eat. Would recommend this hotel highly
