Lucas was an excellent guide. He was very friendly & knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Especially the fondue. He knew everyone at all the places we went t. A very enjoyable food tour

Lucas was excellent. He was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge with us. The food was outstanding especially the Fondue. He knew everyone at the places we went. Very enjoyable tour
This food guide was very comprehensive and a great way to experience Geneva. Robert specifically tailored the tour to us and was very kind and knowledgeable! He was a wonderful tour guide and I would highly recommend.
Francois was an outstanding tour guide. He has excellent knowledge of the culinary culture in Switzerland and we had a lot of fun as well! He also shared a lot of info on the history of Zurich which gave us a great background to the city. We highly recommend him on your next visit to Zurich!
Wonderful tasting experience through Geneva! Robert was an incredible guide hitting all the top spots, but also tailoring it to our tastes and interests and spending extra time with us discussing food and culture. Highly recommend!
Robert did a fantastic job of explaining Swiss culture. Walking tour is a great overview of the city and the weather was outstanding. The Fondu was the highlight coupled with a lovely white wine.
Robert was a great guide very knowledge about the city. Highly recommended tour.
Robert was a fantastic tour guide Not only did he know his food but his history as well. We started off with a trip to a local chocolate shop, then a trip to a market place to sample meats. We walked through the old city took our next stop of cheese fondue. We learned history as we walked. We ended with delicious dessert.
Robert was an excellent guide. We would have never found the places that he took us to on our own. The food was fabulous. He also pointed out historical landmarks and history of the area. This is definitely worth the money
Very fun! Great food options with history of the old part of Geneva
Great food, really nice walking tour around the sites of Old Town, and the company was fantastic. Robert is so kind, has a lot of passion, and has one of the most fascinating life stories of anyone I’ve ever met. It was a great day!
First stop was at a food hall where we ate our assorted meats off a metal cart on a common platter while clustered around the entry door. Not comfortable or classy. No drinks and we each got a single napkin and toothpick to feed ourselves. Second stop was the highlight with fondue at a lovely little restaurant local wine. Third stop was unique with ~14 varieties of hot chocolate. A little bit odd on a hot day but interesting. Final stop at a chocolatier, we were given exactly 1 chocolate covered almond each! Our guide bought some additional chocolates which he selected for us—so we each got 2 more. Overall less food that described and well below expectations on the experience.
Our first stop was at a food hall where we stood by the entrance door and ate dried meats off a metal cart with a common platter on it. No plates, just a napkin and toothpick. Awkward especially when there was a seating area. The next stop was the highlight—lovely restaurant in Old Town with cheese fondue and a local wine—more like what I expected based upon reviews. Third stop was unique—we selected a hot chocolates from a menu of ~15 choices which were all different. Final stop we went to a chocolatier where we received exactly 1 chocolate covered almond! For the money we spent ($220 each), there should have been more chocolate. Guide shared some highlights but the history and stories he told were not particularly engaging.
We have been on food tours in various cities in Europe, and, unfortunately, this one was not up to par with the others. In this tour, our guide essentially brought us to different places to try different foods as usual/as expected with a food tour, but did not provide much information about the food itself. When we would go to a place, the guide would be silent unless we asked questions. For example, when taken to a Fondue restaurant, after some silence I had to ask the tour guide what the origin of fondue was. The guide then happily shared the origin which was quite interesting but I do not feel that I should have to ask when I am paying someone to share their expertise about the food and area.
One of the best tours we’ve been on! The food was unbelievable, and the guide, Robert made it an even more memorable experience. His knowledge of the area, and friendless made the tour even better!
Lucas was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable. He was a pleasure
Ludivine was everything on this tour!! We really appreciated that she knew a lot about history- and not just the regular history that you would hear from a tour guide -but she also gave us context as to why certain historical events occurred in Geneva. The food was excellent too. But my husband and I are both easy to please because we like food, period. Ludi loves food too, and so that made the interaction even more fun. It was nice to take the afternoon to walk around Geneva, learn about different iconic places and get a real taste of the meats, the cheese and the chocolate that makes Geneva what it is. I can't say enough about how engaging she is, and you can really tell that she enjoys the opportunity to teach others about her city. I would highly recommend making a reservation with her!
Robert was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable & thoughtful. I was traveling with my aunt who was struggling a bit with heat and jet lag. Robert was extremely accommodating and pleasant throughout and made our first day in Geneva pleasant.
We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, the sights around the city, and the personalized tour with our guide. Robert was very interesting, personable, and knowledgeable. The meats, cheese fondue, and chocolates were perfect portions. We would happily do this all over again. We highly recommend seeing, tasting and getting to know the city some through this food tour.
Our tour guide, Robert, was fantastic! We enjoyed his personalized tour around the city and would happily do it again all over again. The food portions were just right and gave us a perfect taste of some food highlights in Geneva sprinkled with some historical commentary. Highly recommend!
The G7 meeting had prompted unrest in the city the night before and many shops remained boarded up the day of our tour. Robert reached out to us in advance to give us the option of continuing or canceling. We decided to forge ahead and had a great time enjoying the tastes of and learning a bit about Geneva. Robert was a friendly, articulate and considerate host who went above and beyond.
Robert was a very good guide! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Really love the tour and all the little hidden facts about the city. I recommend this experience a 100%😊
It was a good experience. Robert our guide was experienced and knowledgeable also personable and friendly. The foods were delicious! Delightful chocolate experiences!
We very much enjoyed our personal food tour with Robert. He was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. Also personable and friendly. The food tastings were excellent and representative of the Geneva area and community. Delightful chocolate experiences! Thanks Robert
I waited to long to write this, I hope I have remembered the name right, our guide was Francois, and it was just my husband and I on this tour, so it was sort of a private tour. We had a lovely time, I’m a vegetarian do Francois had to mix a few things up, but we were full and I couldn’t even finish my hot chocolate, which was possibly the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Fewer stops than done good tours, but hearty portions, and we saw quite a few Geneva highlights while we were at it.
The tour was brilliant, Christophe was very knowledgeable and friendly. The venues we visited were places we would never find on our own and the food was so tasty!
Nice selection including traditional Swiss Swiss fondue with Gruyère and chasselet as opposed to Savoyard fondue with Beaufort which is a wonderful contrast after a week of French skiing; really enjoyed the anecdotes and details about Switzerland from our guide as well as animated conversation with the other couple on the tour One note - I mistook the mention of water as being something g to carry with as opposed to offered with the fondue and hot chocolate so I forgot to bring a bottle of water to drink while walking
We had a fantastic time on this food tour in Geneva. The food itself was excellent, with a great variety of local spots we probably wouldn’t have found on our own, but what really made the experience stand out was our tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and added so much historical context as we walked through the city, which made the tour feel like much more than just a food experience. Between stops, he shared stories about Geneva’s history, architecture, and culture that made the city come alive in a way we hadn’t experienced before. The pacing was perfect, the group size was ideal, and the whole experience felt very personal and well thought out. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Geneva who wants great food along with a deeper understanding of the city.
The food tour provided highlights of Geneva along with samples of local food. Our tour guide, Francois, was very friendly and knowledgeable. My only recommendation for improvement would be to change the hot chocolate stop to a food stop. We feel there wasn’t quite enough food to feel full at the end of the tour as the tour description states.
We had a great experience with Robert. We visited a food hall for charcuterie, followed by Fondue at a local restaurant, the best hot chocolate we have ever had and of course chocolate. Robert was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our afternoon
Our group of 4 well-traveled college friends had a great time experiencing Geneva through food specialties with our guide Robert. He was an excellent advisor at the food market, helping us to purchase snacks to enjoy later. We absolutely loved the quaint and charming restaurant where on a frigid day we enjoyed delicious cheese fondue (some of the best we have had) and Swiss wine. Then a surprise chocolate stop and finally delicious chocolates at a shop that recently won a grand prize in the annual contest. A bonus to visit with Robert and learn about his interesting background. All in all a delightful day!
Delicious and filling food experience in Geneva with Benjamin. The fondue was a highlight, both the food and the atmosphere. We also enjoyed the “hidden” hot chocolate stop.
This tour was great - just us and the guide, Francois. Good amount of food, some walking and exploring. Come hungry! Marketplace for meats, then Fondue, then hot chocolate and finished with more chocolate!!
Robert was an excellent guide. Not only did we learn a lot about Geneva, local food and history, he also shared personal experiences which we were able to connect to. 10/10 would advise this tour and guide!
Tour with Ben was interesting while short on food knowledge, it was long on history politics, and culture.
This food tour was excellent, all the food was delicious with a little history thrown in. It showed us the best food Geneva has to offer and we were not disappointed. Our guide Benjamin was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable.
We had a wonderful day with Robert. He was engaging, knowledgeable and great to spend the day with. He shared lots of knowledge of Geneva, the area and the food, but also his personal experience with the city. The food was amazing and lots of it. The meats at the market were tasty and way too much and the cheese fondue… amazing. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Not only that but it was served at a beautiful small classic Swiss restaurant in the heart of the old city. Follow that up with two chocolate tastings and that makes for a perfect day. My only complaint - I wished the tour had said to come hungry or I would not have eaten breakfast that morning. I wanted to eat even more!
We had a great tour with Benjamin and Francois! They were extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much from them about Geneva and Switzerland. We also tasted some of the local food and drink, which we enjoyed very much. We would highly recommend this tour!
Great tour! The experience was amazing and Robert is a wonderful guide. We learned a lot and the fondue is just irresistible
Great experience! Robert was very familiar with the whole city and took us to some interesting and delicious food tasting spots. Robert’s time with us enriched our visit in Geneve. He was a great guide and we highly recommend this tour.
This was such a wonderful tour! My mom and I were new to Geneva and took this tour on our very first day - it was the perfect way to get acclimated to the city. Nigel was incredibly knowledgeable about both the city and its food culture, and every stop featured something delicious. We loved the places we visited, and the pacing and duration of the tour were spot-on. Highly recommend!
While Nigel was a very personable guide, the cost of this tour was not justifiable. Charcuterie off a service cart in the back of a market near service doors was not enticing. Cheese fondue was delish as was the stop for hot chocolate, and a handful of chocolates as a parting gift.
Robert gave an excellent tour. More food than we could eat. Nice historical sights also. Highly recommended.
Ben was an excellent tour guide. Not only did he take us to various food venues but he also took us to significant sites and explained them to us. He answered our questions about history and politics in Geneva. He had great insights. Oh, and we had a wonderful cheese fondue, various meats and chocolate. I highly recommend this tour.
Great tour! Learned a lot about Geneva’s history and tried a lot of different food. We started in the market which was a super cool opportunity. Had some fondue and finished with chocolate tasting.
Benjamin was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the city Geneva. We were a little social group of 4 and had a good time together and above all some nice food samples, including a great cheese fondue!! Highly recommend the tour.
Anabelle was a wonderful guide. She is bright and friendly company, nothing is too much trouble for her. She kept us well informed throughout the tour. Thank you!
Ben was a really delightful host to spend the afternoon with. All the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The tour just felt slightly disorganised and we felt he could have planned the route to stop at interesting places and tell us more of the history along the way. I know he is new to guiding so I am sure this will all come as he gains experience and confidence, but I would still recommend this tour. We really did enjoy it.
This was a great experience! The guide was so fun and we learned a lot. We enjoyed tasting all the different local products, luke the cheese fondue and the lovely chocolate. We also discovered a lot of interesting locations, like the covered market. We left with our bellies very full!
Excellent tour, great food like chocolate, and Francesca was the perfect guide. Definitely an experience to repeat!!
