Riding the cable car was both beautiful and exhilarating! The views from the top of the mountain were absolutely breathtaking and worth the trip alone. The cable car ride itself was smooth and enjoyable, with spectacular scenery along the way. We also dined at the finer dining restaurant on the fourth floor, and the food was delicious! Our server was warm and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We shared the onion soup, which I highly recommend, followed by the chicken with creamy sage gravy. Both were excellent, and the coffee was perfect! The suspension bridge was another highlight—exciting, beautiful, and definitely an experience I recommend! Overall, a fantastic day filled with incredible views, delicious food, and a little adventure. Absolutely worth experiencing!

Itinerary
Enjoy a beautiful drive from Geneva to the charming Alpine village of Les Diablerets, accompanied by your knowledgeable guide, who will share fascinating stories about Swiss culture, local traditions, and the spectacular landscapes along the way. As you leave Geneva behind, discover the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss countryside, passing picturesque villages, rolling green hills, mountain valleys, and traditional Alpine chalets. Along the journey, your guide will introduce you to the region’s history, lifestyle, and natural beauty, making the drive an enjoyable part of your Swiss experience. As you approach Les Diablerets, admire the majestic mountain peaks and dramatic Alpine scenery surrounding this traditional mountain village. From here, prepare to discover Glacier 3000, a spectacular high-altitude destination offering panoramic views of the Swiss Alps.
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Glacier 3000, one of Switzerland’s most spectacular mountain destinations, where snow, ice, and panoramic Alpine views create an unforgettable adventure. Take the cable car up to an altitude of around 3,000 metres and discover a world of majestic peaks, impressive glaciers, and incredible scenery. One of the highlights is the famous Peak Walk by Tissot, the world’s first suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks. Walk between the summits while enjoying spectacular views of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and the surrounding Swiss and French Alps on clear days. For those seeking even more adventure, additional activities may be available on site, depending on weather conditions and seasonal operations. Options can include a glacier walk, offering a closer experience of the snowy Alpine landscape, the thrilling Alpine Coaster, and the exciting Ice Express chairlift, which provides access to the glacier area.
Discover the new PEAK WALK BY TISSOT; there is only one suspension bridge in the world that connects two mountain peaks. It invites you to an adventure that you will not easily forget. The 107 meters long and 80 centimeters wide bridge offers a stunning view onto the Alps: Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are visible from the bridge and offer grandiose views, far off into the distance.
Then discover the famous town of Montreux. Because of the exceptionally mild climate Montreux is called the capital of the Vaud Riviera. Plants associated with the Mediterranean, such as pines, cypresses and palm trees grow here. Charlie Chaplin, Lord Byon, Jean-Jacques Rousseau and several other famous people of world-renown lived and continue to live on this area. You can visit Queen studio record, take a picture of the famous freddie Mercury statue, and feel the atmosphere of the Jazz Festival.

Unbelievable, great scenery, loved the tour. David was excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly.
This was an amazing experience! Aman was so informative. The trip was well organised, it is a long day but totally worth it. Plenty of time at glacier 3000 and Montreux. We would definitely go with these again, we created memories to last a lifetime. Thank you so much
We booked this trip the day before and could not have received better communication. Everything was confirmed straight away and the tickets sent over. Amen, our tour guide, confirmed the pick up time the morning of the trip and was exactly on time. He was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information about the country and the destinations. The trip was unbelievable, beautiful clear views of the mountains and plenty of time as well. We never felt rushed. Thank you Amen for an amazing trip and memories from our holiday and for making it so special.
The worst experience I've ever had in my life. I called and asked them to wait 10 minutes while I paid my fare, and they simply ignored me, even though my personal belongings were still on the bus. I waited for someone else at the first stop for 20 minutes. I was left with my son in the cold. I called many times, and they treated me very badly.
Kris was a wonderful tour guide and driver. He answered all of our questions and helped make sure everyone on the tour was taken care of.
I loved it. The experience was better than i expected to be honest. And the guide and the driver (Babbis and Julius), were both friendly and professional. Beware it can be super windy on the walk.
By far one of the best experiences i've had in the last 15 years. Our host / driver & tour giude, Roger was knowledgable, warm & an expert driver tackling the challenging snowy conditions whilst driving us up to the first base with ease. The glacier walking was astonishing & seeing the Matternhorn in front of you along with sldge pulled huskies was a bit extra. Well worth it, would happily do it again.
Glacier itself amazing. I e had also booked dog sledding at £80.00. We checked the day before that we would be there in time to do the activity and was assured we would be. We were at the base/car park of the glacier at the time our sledding was booked for our tour guide phone but they refused to wait for us. Upon reaching the top we still Made our way to the dog sledding in hope it would still go ahead instead a very abrupt and rude lady told us she was finished for the day and going. Our time was 11.10 Friday 12h we were only a few minutes late not our fault and at £80.00 for 2 people was expensive Wouldn’t recommend
Sadly this got cancelled due to bad weather but I was thankfully able to go on a different tour (Chamonix Mont-Blanc) which was a 10/10 day :)
Amazing experience with a terrific guide Aristotle. Unfortunately the toboggan wasn’t on but the walk across the bridge was worth it
I was originally booked for the Glacier 3000 tour but the cable car went faulty and had to cancel. Keytours offered me alternatives or a full refund and I opted to go to Zermat (hoping to see the Maternhorn and visit the glacier). The tour guide Tom was very helpful and a great lad offering insights and tips on how to make the most out of the visit. Unfortunately however due to bad weather we only (barely) made it to the restaurant at the top and all activities were closed. We also had to make a rush of it as we were instructed to leave soon, again due to bad weather. The village Tash was nice and pretty but with the highlight of the event mostly unavailable brings down the rating.
This is a must-do experience in Switzerland. Feels like you’re on the top of the world. Our guide - Bobis - was entertaining and gave just the right amount of information. Little picnic before the peak walk and alpine activities was a lot of fun. Bonus was also on hand for any photos in this unique experience. PS: If you’re afraid of heights, this is the place to conquer those fears.
It's always fun going to a peak in the Alps. We loved the Alpine Coaster - fun and different. The peak to peak walk was also unique. It was a nice ride through vineyards and up the mountain. And, who wouldn't enjoy a pic w/Freddie Mercury's statue and his recording studio. Montreaux is beautiful. Aristotle did a nice job! Great driver and good information sharing. A fun day!
Excellent, our guide Roger was exceptional very informative and funny. Highly recommend tour for everyone visiting Switzerland.
Absolutely fantastic day out. The tour guide David was brilliant and handled everything perfectly from explaining the tour to showing all the points of interest along the way, his driving was also flawless and I was really impressed with it too be honest on these tight windy roads 👏🏻. Glacier 3000 itself was just excellent, it's almost like a different world once you get up in them clouds. Taking my daughter to play in the snow is not something you can usually do in August 😂... personally I don't like heights but I kinda conquered that fear as you have little choice up there sitting on a ski lift. If you are able to do it then you need to experience the Alpine coaster, you have to pay separately for it but it's absolutely worth the thrill. All in all this was a perfect tour and has given me and my daughter some great memories and pics and videos. Stopped in an amazing town Montreux on the way back for snacks and drinks and a few more pics as the place is absolutely picturesque. Again huge thanks to David for the amazing trip 🤝
Great experience on glacier 3000 also great to see were queen recorded their albums would highly recommend this trip
The weather wasnt good. It was hard to see anything. We spent 3.5 of the 4 hours on Glacier 3000 unable to really do anything. They probably should have not been open. I asked for a partial refund and got nothing. For the 30 minutes we had, it was fun. Nothing against the tour guide or tour, just an unfortunate situation. Probably being a Karen out of frustration
This was such a good trip! We did have some bad weather, fog, lightning and thunder which meant they closed the alpine coaster and the other chairlift. Otherwise it is definitely worth seeing. Our guide Tom(Thomas?) was so much fun as well!
This was amazing trip and the guide was so informative and helpful throughout our trip. On-time arrangements along with some quick bites and the guide cum driver was with us till the peak of mountain to guide.
The driver to the activity was excellent, the organisation was also super. My only criticism is that it is quite expensive but the experience was worth it
Wonderful thats all i can say even though the weather wasnt so good but the stop at montreux was paid it off Roger our driver and guide was great he came before time explained everything thoroughly was very lively and even gave all of us an suprise after the glacier 3000 tour Highly recommend this tour
I had an absolutely great day on this tour the guide was awesome, it's such a shame it was a snowy day on the mountain it was still a great experience it was also great to visit Montreux on the same trip to visit the queen studios I bet Montreux the swiss Rivera is amazing in better weather can't recommend the experience enough 👍🏻
I opted to be picked up from my hotel for this trip. The night before I specifically checked the pick up time by going in to the section where it tells you the pick up details. It correctly told me the name of my hotel and a start time of 8.15. We were outside the hotel at 8am and the bus did not show up. At 8.20am I went back into the app and double checked the pick up times again. It said the same 8.15. At the bottom of this page there was a ‘contact support’ button so I selected that in order to contact Viator and see what had happened to the bus. It was only when I accessed the ‘contact support’ link that I saw I had received a message from Viator (hidden in the ‘contact support’ section) saying that pick up was at 7.40am. When I contacted Viator at 8.20am they said the fault was ours, they would not refund me and they would not add me to the same tour the next day. I had to raise a dispute with my credit card company and have received the £358 back via my credit card company for services not received. Clearly the Viator app (or possibly the staff that send out the individual pick up times) is at fault here. It makes no sense to hide important pick up information in a section called ‘contact support’ instead of in the actual ‘pick up details’ section. On top of this, Viator’s flat refusal to add me to the tour the next day was very poor. I’ve used Viator in the past with no problems but I won’t be rushing to use them again because of this issue
An exhilarating experience, fabulous views from the Peak Walk and the glacier. Aristotelis was an excellent guide, extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A trip we would highly recommend 👌 😍
Our tour guide, David, was an amazing guide. Just did the suspension bridge as the wind was really blowing and the temperature was in the negative degrees.
Amazing tour guide, explained everything well and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Made trip to Switzerland very worth.
This was an amazing trip. Our tour guide, David , was really informative, helpful and charming. I would definitely recommend it!!
David, our driver and guide was fabulous. He drove the coach safely up the mountain from Geneva providing information along the way. He stayed with the group along the Peak Walk and assisted all requests. It was magical at the Glacier and felt we were ontop of the world. Mulled wine up there was a lovely touch to warm up before heading back. It was an incredible experience and well worth the cost
Great trip led bye knowledgeable guide Roger was great freindly bloke driver guide all in one Hot wine was nice little touch The glacier itself is amazing
AMAZING! Highly recommend! David, the guide, was wonderful and so helpful!! Had a great time! One of the top bus day trips I have ever taken!!
Booked for Glacier 3000 trip with all activities. It was unfortunately cancelled due to weather. They offered Chamonix trip as replacement but made me pay extra for mountain train. The place was amazing (must visit). We enjoyed the day thoroughly. But the keytours played a major role in running our day. They told to assemble at the bus stop at 5.15pm, we reached there by 5.13 pm. The bus was not there. They didn't even care to call us or inform about the next bus. I tried calling the office, no proper communication they hanged the call when enquired they told couldn't hear anything. I called 5 times then got frustrated being left in another country (France). Didn't know how to go to Geneva - then booked a Flixbus with help and paid extra € 50 to reach back. Later we went to the office and complained, the receptionist understood our side and asked us to email for refund. I did that but they told sorry we cannot refund anything. The worst tour company in my life.
I did this trip as a solo traveler who has just turned 19. The experience was unbelievable and the views are one of a kind. The tour guide was also amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the entire area and offered hot tea to the group after the Glacier 3000. Everything is planned out great and refunds and alternative trips are offered if the excursion cancelled as the weather is unpredictable. Must do as a Solo Traveller or Group Trip 10/10 :)
Honestly… one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had traveling! Very well organised by Swiss tours. The weather was to our advantage, such a beautiful, crisp clear day!
Super easy to find the tour company the tour guide was very friendly and funny the mountain I have no words for most beautiful place I’ve ever been absolutely incredible 100% recommend the cafe and gift shop at the top was not bad price either.
Due to bad weather our trip to Glacier 3000 was cancelled. We were offered an exchange to Chamonix instead. It turned out to be a great day even though we could only go up to first level as it was too windy at the top. Some great views and a very good guide Roger, friendly, funny and knowledgeable, bravo merci 👏
An amazing experience...Start was delayed due to icy conditions but the wait was worth it. The view is magnificent..both at the bridge and enroute in the cable car
An absolutely incredible experience. It’s a must do if you ever visit Geneva. We did the trip with our 18 month old baby. The cable car on the way up to the summit was very busy, but once at the peak there was so much to do. The steps to the bridge walk were steep but manageable. We would have loved to complete the dogsledge but unfortunately they only operate on certain days.
Glacier 3000 was an amazing place to visit, like nothing I've seen before. Getting on the bus at the office was very disorganised and resulted in leaving 30 minutes late, which reduced our time at the Glacier. The stop in Montreux needs to be longer than 1 hour when xmas markets are on.
Booked as a last minute excursion as had a spare day in Geneva . Had a discount code so got 2 tickets for £319 (gbp) which looking back now I think was good . Went for a stroll the night before to find the Bus station pick up Point and noticed they had a shop next to it called in the lady said come wait here in the morning . Got to the shop for 7.50am ( departure was 8.15) waited for th bus the guide got everyone on the bus and off we went . The journey took about 2.5hrs but was fine as lots to see on the way . Arriving upon the glacier 3000 it was snowing and very foggy . The tour guide got us all tickets and off we went . The snow was absolutely magical and although it was so foggy we couldn’t see the views it just felt such an amazing place . Spent a couple of hours milling about and although the alpine coaster wasn’t on and I couldn’t find the sledges it was honestly such a great experience. So glad I booked and the tour guide was brilliant . Defo recommend
Oh my goodness! Glacier 3000 was held by Key Tours, based in Geneva. I will recommend visiting Glacier 3000 because it is out of this world place to visit. But more especially because of the Beautiful Service by tour operators. Babis and your Colleague, you all deserve a medal! Your easy approach to touring, road experience to reach the top of the mountain was unbelievable. This was my 1st Girls Trip and yet we are already planning another one! Thank you so much for your service. See you soon! 😀😊
Sites were incredible. Once in a lifetime experience. Less time should be allotted to the glacier and more time in Montreux. My only complaint is the driver, who was very nice, had a very thick accent and this made it difficult to understand most of what he said.
Absolutely amazing! An unbelievable experience that we are both so glad we did! The glacier was a longer walk than expected so make sure you give yourself time to get back to the coach for setting off! Worth going to see! The bridge was amazing!
Fantastic experience. Loved the glacier 3000 and the stop after at Montreaux Riviera. Would have been improved by a few things 1. Late being picked up at bus station. No where warm to wait and was freezing. No clear signs as to which bay the coach would park, just gad to keep checking every coach that came in for swisstours logo and placard stating destination in front window. 2. Guide did not explain what exactly was available at glacier 3000. We found out we could use the ski lift and go down the lift to use free toboggan slides and a walk. That was great fun! 3. As we were late we missed another 30 minutes at the glacier The stop at montreaux was lovely Overall enjoyed the trio immensely, the cable car seemed overcrowded though
What a beautiful day! 3000m altitude, snowing up there the time we've been walking around, good place to spend a day in Alps, everything was organised from the start to the end of the trip with no issues, thanks to the driver, well done, safe driving and thanks to his colleague for the cup of hot tea, hot wine and professional approach to clients all day
Walking the bridge between the two peaks was AMAZING, if not quite challenging for my travel companion who conquered her fear of heights that day 100%. THE SCENERY WAS ABSOLUTELY MAJESTIC.
had an excellent time, and the guide was really friendly. It's handy having the office nearby. I would definitely recommend them! Would have preferred an extra hour at the glacier as it flies and you struggle to cram things in, maybe leave off Montreux stop. Would use again and book with faith
Tour guide is excellent and I feel he is doing his best for this tour! It was the best experience in Switzerland trip and it was beautiful to see scenery from glacier 3000 and also. suspension bridge and lift and rollercoaster were fun and memorable. I recommend this tour
It was an amazing trip! The experience of a life time! Our guide, Rodger, was fantastic. He was enthusiastic, and gave us great advice on how to spend our free time. I would definitely recommend this tour to my family and friends!
A very well organised and enjoyable day out. Roger was our driver and guide combined and he was very informative and amusing. Can't fault the tour at all.
