Overall, everything was good and I had a pleasant stay. The hotel, room, and service were all fine. However, I was a little disappointed with the way the drinking water was handled. I understood that one bottle of water is provided per night, but this was never explained to me. I only received one bottle on the first night, even though I was staying for several nights. When I requested another bottle and explained that I was staying for more than one night, they provided it. I believe this could have been handled better, especially for guests staying multiple nights. A simple explanation at check-in or providing the daily allowance automatically would have made the experience much better. Apart from this, everything else was good.

3.5/5 A solid and extremely convenient business hotel in central Geneva. The room was clean and comfortable, if slightly dated, with a very good bed and separate toilet and shower. One mystery remains: why is the hairdryer at the desk? Service was professional and efficient rather than warm, with a particularly quick check-out. The welcome drink voucher offered a surprisingly generous selection. ALL Platinum recognition: 2/5. No upgrade or personal recognition. The Platinum welcome amenity consisted of a packet of Ricola – useful, admittedly, although not exactly a reason to chase status. Overall, value was fair: exactly what I expected, no more and no less. I’d happily return for the excellent station location. Otherwise, I’d probably go cheaper with an ibis or spend more for a genuinely upscale experience
Fantastic experience at this Novotel in Geneva centre. Arrived solo with two young children and was an oasis of calm (and cool!) with great underground parking for such a central location. Louise was so helpful on reception when I arrived, really friendly and also gave the children a complimentary game each which they loved whilst I needed to get back to the car to get something. Great location walking distance to the lake front, Bain de Pâquis and water buses. Also great to get the complimentary travel pass for Geneva.
We came before the check in by 2 hours waited until 3:30 while giving us nothing while we wait, we checked in at time 3 pm still one of the room not ready we asked for compensation but they did nothing The guy tried to offer free drinks but we are Muslims so that mean nothing We tried asking them for something like free breakfast for one day but all that went by saying they can’t They refused to bring extra bed for the room saying that 2 people can sleep at the same bed BTW the bed size is queen size which is small for two adult When we entered the rooms one of them were not completely ready Which lead to asking them to bring what is missing like basic things A BASKET of the toilet The guy that checked us in was trying to help but the other woman at reception was unfriendly. Not recommended at all Highly prices for bad experience If you want easy check in choose different hotel Update!! The toilet was disgustingly dirty the whole of our stay The telephone was making bebbing sound and the reception was requiring us to get down and talk to them directly We asked for cutlery and the said it chargeable by 5 frank but if you get to the bar yourself it is free -never in my life had experience a hotel charge for cutlery-
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel, especially considering the amount we paid for our stay. First, we booked a room for three guests, but upon arrival we found that the room only had two beds. When we asked how three people were expected to sleep, we were told that two children could simply share a bed. No effort was made to offer an extra bed until we clearly explained that it was impossible for two children to sleep comfortably in one bed. Second, due to the war situation in the country we were traveling to, our flight schedule was changed. We informed the hotel in advance by email and provided the necessary information. Despite these exceptional circumstances, we were still charged additional fees to modify our reservation dates. Third, the hotel parking facility is not suitable for larger vehicles. Our car has a higher clearance, and the parking entrance/ceiling was too low, which created unnecessary inconvenience. Finally, when we asked to speak with a manager regarding these issues, we were told that there was no manager available and that the staff member we were speaking with was the person in charge her name was Luba. Unfortunately, none of our concerns were resolved. Overall, the customer service was poor, there was little willingness to help, and the experience did not justify the high price we paid. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
