Le Montbrillant Hotel Residence

I asked the concierge at the hotel for assistance getting an uber just a bit earlier this evening after a long day and with many heavy bags. He was totally unhelpful, told me the area outside is just for taxis and he didn’t know where I can get the uber. And he added that the uber and taxi are the same price when it’s actually double the amount. This hotel is lacklustre and despite it being near the train station and a four star hotel it’s not worth money at all. Get better staff.

I stayed two nights in this hotel. The walls were so thin that I could hear everything happening in the next rooms! The windows had absolutely no isolation and as the hotel is right behind train station it was extremely noisy and loud! The shower was dripping the whole night and when I wanted to take a shower I saw the floor towel( that they place inside the cabin originally) was soaked in water already before I take a shower! The bin in the room was full when I looked at it the next morning, meaning they even didn't bother to empty it! I took photos and informed the receptionist. He said he can only ask the cleaning people to change the towel and empty trash but he can't do more, then he gave me an email address to send my complaints! I did so already before check out. I have not received any email back yet. Interestingly for the first time I dont have the option to leave review in booking.com! I dont know how that is even possible, but this hotel doesn't give me the option to leave a review on booking.com!!! All in all, I am absolutely not happy with this hotel and their service!

I reached Geneva on 28th July 26. From airport I reched hotel by train in just 5 minutes. Free travel pass received from Geneva tourism through hotel by email. Very cooperative front desk staff. Lady named Eleonore guided me very well and provided excellent services. I think she is the star of hotel on taking care of visiting guests at counter. She has taken care of my breakfast facility on the package. Best 4 star hotel with conveniently located near Cornavin Station.

The staff is so friendly and helpful, they really made my stay worth it—and a special thanks to Léonore for that! The location is absolutely brilliant! It's literally opposite the train station, which was exactly what I needed. I worked for a couple of days from the studio I was staying in (located around the corner from the main hotel entrance) and had no issues with the Wi-Fi whatsoever! The studio itself was simple, but had everything I needed. And the breakfast was okay, not that special. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back if I need to stay in Geneva's city center again!
