This hotel allows dogs, which is both unhygienic and highly discriminatory against people with severe dog allergies. No matter how deeply a room is cleaned afterward, animal dander and filth are impossible to completely eliminate. Keeping dogs out of hotels isn't animal cruelty—it's basic common sense. If rodents are banned to maintain high sanitary standards, it makes absolutely no sense to welcome dogs, which compromise hygiene just as much. This policy is completely backward.

Beautiful hotel! The swimming pool area is the best part! I chose it for that reason. I also saw the star chef of the restaurant which I will try next time. The service there was lovely! However location is a bit scary as a woman avoid walking to the train station following GPS you will go straight to the red light district. Take the lake way. Also checking out of the hotel I left two large suitcases and went to get coffee from the restaurant which is actually beautiful. Lake view… when I went to ask for it the man brought it and basically rolled it out and just left it there. Ok how about asking if I need help getting my luggage to the car? Not his job? ok but maybe get someone? I had to drag my 2 luggage myself not a 5 star service. But thankfully a very nice porter helped me and my friend who was picking me up load it to the car. Please do better.
Our stay at the Hotel President Wilson was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an outstanding location, elegant accommodations, and all the amenities you would expect from a world-class property. What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the incredible service provided by Anais and Patrisia. Both went above and beyond at every opportunity, consistently demonstrating professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for guests. They anticipated needs before we even had to ask and handled every interaction with a level of hospitality that is becoming increasingly rare. As someone who travels frequently and stays in many hotels around the world, I can confidently say that Anais and Patrisia set the standard for what exceptional customer service should look like. Other hotels—and many hospitality professionals—could learn a great deal from the way they treat guests. They are a tremendous asset to the hotel and played a significant role in making our stay so enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Anais and Patrisia, for delivering a truly outstanding guest experience. We look forward to returning.
The rooms need a complete refurbishment. They are extremely outdated.. this is a presumably five star hotel at rates around $700+ apernight. The bathroom was very small with a cheap showerhead and a very low ceiling in the shower. I can’t spend this money on a hotel and not expect a decent shower. On the bright side the common areas of the hotel are very lovely and there are plenty of helpful staff around at all times and the pool area is very nice. so no complaints there. The Internet speed is very slow . And lastly, breakfast was a disppointment. Despite the price tag they cannot deliver a decent cappuccino and . a nothing special buffet which would be fine in a chepaer hotel but not in a 5 star.. I’ve had so much better breakfast at other luxury hotels in Switzerland and visited lausanne palace the next day and wow- amazing coffee and breakfast.I think no attention to detail at the hotel as get by on their history and owners dodt want to spend ion improvements
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Sunday brunch at the Hôtel Président Wilson in Geneva. Everything was simply outstanding from start to finish. The freshness of the products was remarkable — you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The selection was generous and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of refined dishes that highlight premium ingredients. A special mention goes to the pastries: they were exquisite. Delicate, perfectly balanced in flavor, and crafted with real expertise, each dessert felt like a work of art. On top of that, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. An elegant and unforgettable brunch experience — I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Geneva!
