Hotel Metropole Geneve

My plan was to stay for 5 nights there but I canceled the final two nights. The air con was down entirely amd the room was like an oven. However, I am upset not because of the air con breakdown. It is about the service. They didn't inform me the air con issue and they did not do anything to help my situation (not providing fan etc). No compensation offered either. The room is designed with air con as it is too noisy if you open the windows. As a result, I had to bear several sleepless night with no help offered. Even when I checked out, they have my name wrong on the receipt. I had to wait and wait for long for the fixes. A total waste of my vacation time. I will never stay there again. NEVER.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Métropole in Geneva. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed, with a king-sized bed, automatic curtains, and an incredible view of Lac Léman. The lake view was easily one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were very professional, polished, and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel is also in a great location, within walking distance of several excellent restaurants, which made it very easy to enjoy Geneva. The only small issue came at checkout, when we had asked the hotel to arrange a taxi to the airport. The original taxi did not arrive, but the staff quickly ordered another one, and we made our flight with no problem. There may have been a slight miscommunication around whether the taxi would be charged to the room, and the final fare was a bit higher than the estimate we were given. It was not a major issue, but worth mentioning. Overall, this was a very nice hotel with a beautiful room, excellent service, and a fantastic location. We would absolutely stay here again.

It's a wonderful hotel. The rooms are renovated and are very elegant while maintaining the original style. The location is really great, close to the main shopping street and overlooking the lake. The staff was friendly and professional. One of the best hotels I've been to.

What a wonderful hotel! The rooms have just been renovated and are very stylish. And the hotel is really positioned. Central to everything, it’s on the main shopping street and looks out to the lake. The staff were amazing. They were warm and friendly, very polished and professional, and of course helpful. We had two adjoining rooms to accommodate our young kids. I travel a lot and can highly recommend this hotel!
