We enjoyed a week long trip thru Switzerland with Geneva being the last leg so we booked two nights there thru Hilton. The location is superb if you don't want noise and cars - this hotel is located in the middle of old town. It's a little uphill coming from the river but honestly not bad and a very scenic walk anyways. First off - we found the staff amazing. Very helpful, polite and attentive. The room was astounding - a mixture of elegance, age and simplicity it any of that makes any sense. The breakfast in the morning was housed in a smaller room but we found it rather charming. While we're vegan (managed to get some decent food in) the eggs were individual servings in cast iron pots and the fresh fruit was similarly put in glass containers. This might have been for space saving/portion control but either way probably reduces waste. I would have given 5 stars aside from the that that the walk-in shower leaked from the bottom. It wasn't like a flood but the shower drain clearly wasn't working well enough and by the end of an average shower most of the bathroom floor would have standing water. We did notify the staff and they immediately brought us extra towels for cleanup. We were also given extra towels for the remaining next day's showers - very quick help with the issue so really want to shout out the staff's help. I have to imagine this issue with the shower didn't suddenly happen and really didn't expect it with such a boutqiue hotel I'd definitely recommend staying here just keep an eye out with the shower in room 101.

Amazing staff, hotel and location. If you want to experience the heart of Old Town in Geneve, staying at Les Armures is the right place to be. It's clean and comfortable. We had lots of questions and needs. The staff could not have been more joyful and accomodating. Their attached restaurant was delicous seeming to be the go to spot for folks. With both inside and outside dining, fondue and wine was great for lunch. Dinner was awesome. You might have a short wait with no reservation. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the lake. Last and important for us, we were in Geneve during the heat wave. The air conditioning was working magnificantly during our stay. Everything was right about our selection of Les Armures. I would highly recommend.
We stayed at Hotel Les Armures for 3 nights and had a superb experience from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, extremely clean, and beautifully designed with a lovely blend of historic charm and modern luxury. The hotel has the feel of a true small luxury property, with exceptional attention to detail throughout. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful during our stay. The breakfast was outstanding — genuinely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Geneva’s Old Town beside the cathedral, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. I would highly recommend staying here and already look forward to returning!
Hotel Les Armures is a beautiful boutique gem in the heart of Geneva, right next to the Cathedral. It is charming and romantic, offering an intimate sense of place that larger luxury hotels often lack. Being right next to the owner’s famous fondue restaurant is a standout bonus for any stay. Where it Falls Short I cannot give it five stars because the amenities aren't at that level. Like other hotels in Geneva, the property feels a bit dated. Specifically, the bathroom requires climbing into a high-walled bathtub; my wife and I are in great shape and still found it awkward. It must be very impractical for children or seniors. Additionally, there is no gym on-site. Even more disappointing for a 5-star hotel, they do not provide free access to a nearby facility, only a discount. At this price point, I expect fitness access to be included. Verdict Les Armures has plenty of soul and attentive service. However, the dated bathroom setup and lack of modern facilities keep it from being a true 5-star experience. It’s a very good 4-star stay, but it doesn't quite hit the top-tier luxury mark.
This hotel is a really cozy hotel in the middle of Geneva, with a short trip to many places and the lake Geneva. The whole thing is very homey and everything is small but tasteful. The breakfast buffet was not overly full but included various fresh foods and a healthy variety of things to eat. Would definitely recommend!
