Very nice hotel, amazing views and the restaurant overlooks the city. It has a very good vibe and well equipped. Close to the train station, a lot of food places and to the lake.

The location of the hotel is excellent. You can reach out to Gare de Cornavin within a few minutes, then you can visit any landmark of Genava via Trains or Trams. The room was ok. It was tidy and simple. Wi-Fi was provided. The hotel looks a kind of historical building. The electric sockets were limited. I experienced power cut of some sockets, although the staff were so helpful to give us a new room. The gym room was small with a few devices only. The rowing machine did not function properly. You can't spare half an hour there either.
We had a wonderful stay at the Cornavin. Rachid and Arlinda from the front desks are our heros. They were polite and were very helpful. They managed our bicycles. They even gave us the key for room 122 where my hero from my childhood was. Thanks very much.
You can't beat the location of this hotel. It's very convenient for accessing trains and for walking to the waterfront and Old Town. It's basic, clean and efficiently run; and though you can feel and hear the vibrations of the trains from the 6th floor, it wasn't anything that would keep us awake at night. Breakfast was good with a decent selection. My only concerns were about the bathroom door - it's frosted glass and doesn't "click" into a door frame. That means that there's nothing to hold it in place, so it wants to swing open. We had to place a garbage can in front of the door to hold it closed. The wall between the bedroom and bathroom is also frosted glass. This allows more light into the bathroom, but between this wall and the glass door, there's not a lot of soundproofing. This is ok if you're traveling with people you know well, but something to keep in mind. Also, we were there during a heat wave. I chose this hotel because it has air conditioning, but we found it to be very weak. Not a deal-breaker, and overall a decent hotel for the price and location.
The location is excellent, just a 30-second walk from the station. The tram stop is even closer. The front desk was also quick and impeccable. Above all, the room was excellent. It was spacious enough for three people, with plenty of space to spread out large luggage. The bathroom was also large, with a deep bathtub that is perfect for Japanese people. The entire room was stylish and sophisticated. It was also fun to look down from the window at the trains passing through Geneva Station. It was also great that they were open early for breakfast. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, so many that it was hard to choose. The only thing that bothered me was that the heating in the room was too hot. We turned it off, but it could have been a mistake on our part. Overall, I think it's a good hotel.
