The hotel has an oriental vibe, with beautiful amenities and decorations. Malena the front desk lady did a great job checking me in, very professional and Max in the early morning for the check out, they both made a friendly interaction, personal just to make me feel good. The room was very clean, the sheets and pillows amazing, the bathroom I could say newly remodeled. Very happy with my stay, I’ll stay there again no problem. Lots of places to eat around and like 1 min walk to the lake.

Went to check in at 3, our room was not ready, we were told it would be 10-15mins, when asked was it really going to be 15mins, they double checked and said more likely an hour, when we came back we were offered a drink as a way to make up for the inconvenience, I took a Coke my husband declined. When advised everything in the room is included, the mini bar is fully comped, everything….. it was 2 ricola sweets, 2 mini toblerone, 1 sparkling and 1 still water…. I don’t feel like that’s a big thing worth boasting about, 2 waters and a cough sweet ?!? the way it was said I was kind of thinking there would be a coke or an orange juice. Used 2 of the 4 towels on the floor as the shower door is not sealed properly, the drains need to be cleaned, the water does not drain quick enough in both shower and sink. Everything about this room was jaded, 2 tissue box holders (1 in each bathroom) 1 empty, the personal care items, one cotton bud for 2 people, and it was open, you can tell they are old and have been there quite a while, 1 piece of cottonwool per person, is cheap and too measured. This makes me think they don’t check/clean properly or don’t care or both, just really cheap and mean, no luxury whatsoever, the room being 2 stories is the luxury, but nothing in it is. The phone doesn’t work so if you want milk/creamer for your coffee or tea, you have to run out to reception (they provide tea bags and nepresso coffee pods 2x3 different types and sugar). The breakfast was not worth noting or writing about, it’s a free breakfast and you would know it is, stale bread, cold (and I mean chilled) pancakes, they should just get rid of the “hot” food buffet, keep it simple with pastry and coffee. Not sure if they offer room service there was no information in the room and phone was broken, so I cannot comment.
I have no idea how or why this hotel is getting positive reviews. I've really got to express my disappointment in the hotel in every way. Check in was an hour late and even then, the room was disgustingly filthy. The person who gave us access to the room said, "you're free to anything in the fridge, it's all complimentary," only to open the fridge and find it was empty. So I'm not sure if that was intended as an insult, but it was certainly taken as one. At all hours of the night, there were people in the courtyard getting drunk and being obnoxiously loud with no interruptions. There were candy wrappers all over the floor of the room. And to top it off, breakfast was absolutely disgusting. Anyone who works here who says they would eat that slop has to be joking. I've taken photos of all of this for Google, Youtube and Hotels.com reviews and feedback. I'm absolutely astonished at how little anyone who works here seems to care about their job. Pathetic.
My wife and I stayed for four days. The room facilities and Lightining were very good. All the people at the reception were extremely helpful and gave us all the information we asked for. The location was excellent; close to the train station but still away from the crowd and noise. It was also very close to the bus stop. We thank you the management and workers for making our stay pleasant. Finally all the receptionists were very helpful but our special thanks go to Alice.
I had a wonderful two-night stay at Eastwest Hotel in Geneva. The hotel was beautiful, clean, quiet, and perfectly located. What truly made the experience exceptional was Karim’s hospitality. He was professional, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Thank you, Karim, for making our stay so enjoyable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Geneva.
