This hotel was exceptional. Family of 4 and we had the best check in experience, despite it being late. Room is very well sized. Only issue is that the shower splashed water all over the bathroom Super convenient with a family Kids enjoyed watching planes take off (and Was surprising we couldn’t hear it) Was pleasantly surprised to receive an email for free public transport whilst in Geneva. Would highly recommend
The price on Booking.com included the city tax and all charges, but we were still asked to pay an additional CHF 51 at check-in. We stayed for four nights. On the day of check-out, at around 10:30 AM, a staff member unlocked the apartment door and walked in without knocking or asking for permission, just to tell us to leave. This was a serious invasion of our privacy. We were then charged another CHF 50 for late check-out.
I chose this hotel because it has a WASHER DRYER RIGHT IN THE ROOM. I've never heard of this, even in the States. It works, like a dream. After a few months of traveling, finally able to catch up on all those little things I couldnt when lines are waiting to use the machines at a hotel. The price for a room in Geneva is great, and 100 meters away there's a grocery store that caters to travelers. Location is not in the city center, but it's 30 minutes away by using the bus stop 100 meters away. This same bus stop takes you to the airport terminal in less than 15.
We booked a 2BR suite at Adina for our Xmas holiday. Overall, all of us had a good experience. The suite is not large, but the layout is efficient, with plenty of privacy for folks sleeping in the two bedrooms. All of the furniture and kitchen / bathroom furnishings were like new, and very well thought through. The staff was extremely hospitable and helped us with a wide variety of travel related issues. Transportation: the free local bus/tram pass was a gem! We didn’t have a rental car and relied heavily on the public transportation system for the first couple of days. For the second half of our trip, we had a rental car, and found it very easy to find parking in the garage in the basement(and the parking rate were very reasonable). Lastly, all of us enjoyed the continental buffet breakfast. It’s high quality and full of variety. Lastly, on location: even though this hotel is located very close to the airport, give them how small Geneva is, we found it extremely easy to access different parts of the city from the hotel.
I can't recommend Adina Hotel Geneva enough. The best part is the staff- they were so helpful and went above and beyond to help me and my three colleagues who were staying here. They quickly sent over our complimentary transit passes, check in was quick, we made good use of the printing services. I made the mistake of leaving the room for a meeting with the washer/dryer running. On check out day. The staff was so helpful, allowing the clothes to dry and delivering them to the luggage I had stored with them for the day. Later that day the front desk attendant who had helped me (I'm so sorry I didn't catch her name) recognized our group in a *completely different area* of Geneva and made a point to let me know that my clothes were dry and waiting. I was so appreciative and surprised at this gesture. The rooms are clean and cozy with complimentary coffee, water, and a washer/dryer combo. The location is great, steps from the 14/18 tram to go in to Geneva and also steps from the bus. 100% I would stay here again and recommend that others do as well.
