Learn the terrible tale of Stutthof Concentration Camp, the first and longest operating concentration camp in Polish territory. Hear the story of place where thousands of people from more than 25 countries were tortured and murdered until its liberation in 1945. Stutthof concentration camp was the first and the longest operating concentration camp in the territory of Poland. It had been established in order to exterminate Jewish and Polish Intelligence, mainly from the Pomerania and the Free City of Gdask. Built in 1939 and initially intended for approximately 3 000 people, this camp gradually became the place of torment and slaughter for over 110 thousand prisoners from 26 countries, most of whom were tortured, forced to work or died in gas chambers. Stutthof Concentration Camp is currently open for visitors. Since the exposition is quite drastic, it may be visited only by persons who are 13 or over. The trip lasts 5 hours and the offer includes the entrance ticket to the museum as well as guided exploring of the former Stutthof area – the old and new camp quarters, the main commander’s villa, gas chambers, crematorium and the monument to its victims. Additionally, it is also possible to watch a film about the camp.

Mike our guide has so information to impart not only about Stutthof but about Gdansk and Poland. Well worth it and so sensitively put.
This was a great trip with a guide with deep knowledge and a very good and accurate way of telling the stories abaut Stutthof from the start to the end. Mike (our Guide) told the whole story, the awful handling of the people, how the camp was runned, and the strategies for survival was for the people in Stutthof. It is highly rekommended to do this tour for adults and teens.
Such a great trip. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. A fascinating insight into the harsh reality of life in the concentration camps.
It was a very interesting and profound experience tour which me and my family fully recommend to do. Tour guide explained us sensitively hard past story in detail which allowed us all to empathize with local history together with understanding and learining also about pomeranian region idiosyncrasy.
It's an important historical place to visit. We have learnt a lot thanks to this organized tour. Thank you!
I've arranged a trip for my friends from Italy. We were very satisfied. Tours in Gdansk organized the trip well.
The tour was very well-organized and professional. The driver arrived on time, was friendly and was giving us many interesting information about the region during the ride to our destination. The visit at the camp was an unforgettable experience and the guide was great. We have learned a lot about the history of this historical place. We would definitely recommend Tours in Gdansk - Local Tour Operator and will use them again when returning to Gdansk.
Mike was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and kept us interested for the whole tour. Would highly recommend his tours
If you are interested in history or just a really humbling experience, this concentration camp will open your eyes to struggles of the people that was imprisoned here. If you coming in the winter months make sure you dress warm. The cold adds to the experience. If you are in the Gdansk area this is a must see. Having a guided tour definitely helps to get a full concrete experience. Your tour guide was on time to pick us up and shared so much about the local area as well. The beach is close and the shops have some great homemade ice cream. Hope you all enjoy as much as our family did.
Our tour was unbelievable very informational and above all our tour guide mike was great , He knew all the answers to our questions and above all he went out of his was to ensure we were having a great time , I would highly recommend this tour and especially if you get mike your going to have a great time
Mike was our guide and I cannot stress enough the depth of this man's knowledge. He answered every question comprehensively and has endless stories of the horrors experienced in this camp. We gained so much more by doing this with a guide. It really helped us gain a sense of what life was like for the prisoners.
Very good guide. He knew his history +++ If you go in February, be sure to dress up properly. You spend all the time outside.
Great tour and a very good guide, knowledgeble and pleasant. We were very pleased with the tour, and our driver was also very nice.

Very good trip well worth it. Mike our guide was very informative and allowed you time to absorb the information and have your own thoughts.

Our tour guide/driver, Mike, was excellent! During the drive, he spoke about the countryside and facts about Poland. He was very friendly and professional. His information on Stutthof was amazing. He was very respectful. We had a little extra time so he drove us to a resort village and Old town Gdansk. We could not have asked for a better guide or trip. I highly recommend it!

We booked a private tour which was advertised as 5 hours long. We were picked up from our hotel in the centre of Gdansk at 12 noon and dropped back just after 3.30 pm. Once at Stutthof we were guided round at great speed and it was difficult to ask our questions as the guide would just say his set lines and march off. There was no time to assimilate what we had seen and been told and we were not given the opportunity to see any film. Undoubtedly a very interesting place but we had a very poor experience with Viator.

pojechalismy do Stutthof przy okazji kilkudniowej wyprawy do Gdanska. Wycieczka bardzo dobrze zorganizowana! Przewodnik profesjonalny, przesympatyczny I z ogromna wiedza. Interesujaco opowiadal o historii I rejonie. Polecam wszystkim!
After visiting Auschwitz Birkenau in an uninterrupted stream of visitors, the less-visited Stutthof camp offers the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the organisation and daily life in the camp, including through well-documented photo exhibitions. We had an excellent English tour led by an Irish guide (!), Michael Gannon, who has lived in the area for many years.
