Was given incorrect pick up instructions so we could not get to location. Cost me 2 Ubers and a taxi. Will not use Victor or these guys again. Justice tours on cruise ship and pay extra so you don’t get jacked around

Reviews
driver Simon and tour guide Mark we both knowledgeable and pleasant. they obviously are very passionate about their country and its history.
I had not heard of Stuthoff prior to visiting Gdansk. It is a really important part of history. Seeing the site covered in snow was also really impactful, as it showed what the camp might have been like in winter and just how hard life must have been. We had a guide who spoke fair English and told many stories. It can seem a little rushed if you are trying to read the text on the displays, but it was manageable. The drivers were prompt, picking us up at both ends, and the drive from the hotel to the camp goes through really pretty countryside. For a really impactful visit, make sure to leave time to visit the WWII museum in Gdansk after visiting Stutthof.
Pick up was very early - 7.45 am but worked out extremely well as got there early and ahead of the crowds. Had a very friendly knowledgeable driver. Tour guide Dr. Wolfgang was excellent - very passionate and informative. Ready to answer all questions. Tour not rushed and there was plenty of time to take photos. Bit expensive at the time of booking but well worth it. Highly recommend.
Both guide and driver were excellent. The whole experience was hugely informative. Stutthof itself is very tastefully done and I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit
I highly recommend this tour even though it deals with a difficult time period and subject matter. Without looking at the good and bad of history we are doomed to repeat it. Book the tour, learn the history and walk the grounds.
Highly recommend this trip… obviously harrowing but very interesting and important to remember the history. Great service from Mr Shuttle. I was picked up from my hotel at exactly the time specified and our driver Simon was really interesting and informative throughout the journey.
Picked up from hotel at the correct time.simon our driver gave us loads of information. Thomas was our tour guide,a very humble man, full of knowledge, a very sad story of the history of Poland,,but one that definitely needs to be told.thank you to Simon and tomas for a really good trip
This tour is a must do. We were picked up at our hotel, the driver was friendly and knowledgeable about ancient history of the area. The tour guide at the camp spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. The tour took 2 hrs in heavy snow. There is a lot of walking. I would personally have liked more time to go back and revisit some spots to read and look at exhibits but our minibus was waiting at the end.
This was an excellent trip. We were picked up at front door of our hotel. Our driver Christopher spoke excellent English and chatted on the 50min drive, telling us ancient history of the area we were passing through and pointing out places of interest. We arrived at the camp and were introduced to our guide Tomas. The tour took 2hrs. Again his English was excellent and he was very knowledgeable. It was a lot of walking in heavy snow. We ended up back at the minibus to go home. I personally felt 2 hrs was enough for the tour but would have appreciated extra time to go back to spend more time alone to read and look at exhibits without the guide. We were left back to the door of our hotel.
Amazing and emotional experience. An activity that naturally brings on reflection! This tour company is super professional!
Emotional and pensive experience. The tour was super informative. The driver was on time and professional getting us safely to Stutthof.
A sympathetic but engaging visit to such a special place. Our Guide Mr Thomas was very knowledgeable on the events that had taken place. Our Driver Simon had provided plenty of background information on our trip to the camp
The tour guide, Mr Tomas, was excellent, very polite and professional. The whole experience war very educational and emotional at the same time.
It’s a smaller camp, so it doesn’t take as long as others (Auschwitz’s for example). It’s not too long a ride either, 45 minutes to an hour from where I got picked up. If you’re interested in learning about the camps, you shouldn’t miss it.
The guide went too fast. We didn't get to read or take in the information. I was hopeful for time to look around and take in what we were seeing.
Stutthof was very interesting place to understand what happened to our Jewish brothers and other international captives that were held there and murdered. Our tour guide, who gave us a private tour in English was very informative and respectful. He knew everything about the camp. Also, our shuttle driver Kristoffer, was very nice and very knowledgeable about Poland. He gets 5 stars along with our English speaking guide at the camp. I highly recommend Mr Shuttle and the Stutthof private tour.
Your Guide was very knowledgeable and this tour is definitely worth the time. Our only comment is we did book this tour for the hotel pick up which was changed the day before- to another location a small walk away. It was more the principal as there was no physical or traffic reason not to pick us up at Radisson Blu.
Everything was amazing . Simon the driver s good wealth of knowledge before we went to the camp. Excellent knowledge of the area . Amazing driving to get us out of traffic jams and rush hour I had Simon for two trips and different knowledge both days before I went to the destination . So easily seen he does his homework and not make up anything ( like some tour companies ) Thanks for making this a memorable occasion .
We were picked up as communicated from the hotel by our driver Simon. Both Simon and the guide Olga were very respectful to our needs, as an example we were provided umbrellas to protect us from rain and we got nice tips about restaurants and food to eat. We travelled to the site where our guide Olga gave us an excellent tour. A lot of the text is not available in English so we were very happy about our decision to have a guide. Olga had a never ending knowledge of Second World War and was able to answer all of our questions. It is a sad part of history, but important to be aware of.
Good tour but it went so quick, I wish we had more time to read signs etc. if you have smaller children strollers are not permitted into most buildings so I suggest a carrier.
Excellent, informed guide for a worthwhile 2 hour tour. The pick up was late by 15 minutes since the drive went to the wrong hotel.
The driver was friendly and punctual, and provided useful information en route. Our guide at the museum, Marek, was excellent. He helped to bring to life the tragic history of this place. Information boards in English were also very useful in understanding what happened here.
The guide and driver arrived on time, and right from the start they both gave us lots of information on Gdansk and the history of Poland, also recommending places to visit whilst here. Once at the camp our guide (sorry I’m really bad with names, think it was Melak) walked us around the camp, explaining about the history behind the camp being built, and the locations previous use. He went on to explain the building of the camp, and day to day life there. I found the trip very moving and informative, I would recommend it. Thank you
Wrap up warm be humble. Good experiance ,well managed. Would recommend . Wear comfy shoes . That's it
This is an experience which is worth taking time from a holiday for. A truly moving journey through a sad and relatively recent point in history. We were lucky enough to have a private transfer and a private guide. The service provided was great, and those involved were very knowledgeable and willing to share their learnings.
I couldn’t tell you of my experience!! As I never got picked up from my hotel!! Money came off my bank account! No email nothing!!! Just been scammed! I was so looking forward to the trip!!
This is definitely well worth the time and money. The guide knew his budget and was very knowledgeable and answered any question.
We were so lucky to get a private tour with the guide. Pickup was on time and we were greeted by the nicest and most intellectual guide in Stutthof. An amazing journey through a sad and difficult time in Poland. Thank you!
I’ve visited a few concentration camps and this was very interesting and a vital experience if you’re into learning about history. Many Polish prisoners were kept here. It’s important for me to learn about the history of places like this and I knew I had to go! Very great driver and tour guide. Highly recommend if you’re interested about the camps and what happened here.
I visited as part of a cruise tour package whilst in Gdansk. A truly moving tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the group's experience but adding additional background stories. In reflection it is so sad what transpired here and it is a tragedy that humans can do this to one another. Great static displays. A must see for anyone interested in history. Glad I did the tour.
Amazing experience such a feeling just being there. Hard to believe that it all happened really not that long ago. Highly recommend!
From the prompt pick up to the return trip and drop off, this outing was worth it. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He had a deep sense of purpose. The camp itself is well looked after and will hopefully always tell the story of one of humanity’s greatest tragedies!
The drive out was very informative and enjoyable. The displays in the various barracks were very insightful and instructive. Alas this was a concentration camp with all its horrors so it’s hard to imagine what happened here.
We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Gdansk, the tour round the camp was so informative and our guide was so knowledgeable. Highly recommend
Everything went well with great service from Mr.Shuttle. Polite driver, who told us much extra information while driving to the destination. At the Stutthof we had a very good and professional guide. I highly recommend this.
A very interesting and informative experience. We went during winter so it felt much more real, definitely added to the experience so would recommend! Had time to walk around on your own and with a guide.
The history of the Concentration Camp was very well explained in detail by the guide. The exhibits and camp are authentic and makes such a visit so memorable.
Knowledgable guide at the camp, and excellent service from Mr. Shuttle picing us up and returning us to where we lived. The trip and the operator are highly recommendable!
This was an amazingly informative and moving experience. Done very respectfully and focused on the day to day activities at the camp more than the overt atrocities.
Great experience but very sad what happened all them years ago, we should all learn about it make sure it never happens again 🙏🏼
Can’t do nothing but praise Mr shuttle .. from start to finish absolutely exceptional… Simon the driver was the best ..I even booked a trip to Malbork castle day after .. can’t thank them enough for making my stay in Gdansk the best .. thank you Mr shuttle
It was fantastic because of the good driver and the guide is perfect. Nous avons appris énormément! Merci
Webt to Stuthoff with 5 friends. Got picked up in a very nice and clean van. Trip took about 45 min. Got picked up by guide at camp. Had about 1,5 guided hours and then 30min to our self. Guide was good. Spoke decent english and could connect stories to our country. Could easily have spend additional hours on our own time aswell, but we had to catch our ride home after 2 hours. Trip back took 45min again. For 4/6 it was our firsr trip to a camp. Great experience.
The museum at the camp was fascinating. Our driver, Simon and our tour guide Anya were warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. We had an excellent time, thank you so much!
Very interesting place, well worth experiencing what happened during the war and remembering those brave people.
The shoes, The chamber,The ovens, hits home, it's horrible but must be seen. An eerie experience. All that aside Micheal really brought some of the horrors to life and can tell you all aspects of the camp. Simon the driver was one of the nicest, friendliest people you will ever meet and a wealth of knowledge on everything. Heavy experience, strong stories. Guide speaking poor English, not too comunicative. Strange feelings. Learning some.
This is a trip well worth making from Gdansk. It takes about an hour .We were lucky as the only ones that morning .Picked up rom hotel by a very knowledgeable driver who old us quite a lot before we got here. The guide at the camp (Thomaz )was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. I suspect it is much busier in the Summer . Taxi waited for us and we were back in Gdansk just after lunch.
