Great experience seeing the city from the river. We were relatively inexperienced at kayaking but Nick, our instructor, was great. The equipment provided is excellent but I would recommend taking gloves and a hat during winter. Single kayaks are available for solo travellers also, so no need to share. I would thoroughly recommend for anyone visiting Gdansk

We had a fantastic time with Nick kayaking - this is the second time I’ve kayaked in December with this company, it was so good I urged my boyfriend to do it with me this year again. Nick was great - easy instructions, good knowledge of Gdansk history and he was a great laugh. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Gdansk, it’s my favourite activity I’ve done both visits.

Highlight of our short break in Gdansk. Nick our guide was brilliant, as some one who hasn’t kayaked before he put us at ease and went through everything we needed to know without it being too long and boring. Once we were out on the water we got to see this beautiful city from a different view point - peppered with stops and insights from nick about the history of the city. In a city that is super busy just now we got experience it without any stress - just avoiding the odd pirate boat as they pass! This trip is a must for anyone that wants to try something a little different!

An absolute must if you are visiting Gdansk! No previous kayaking experience needed-had so much fun seeing the sights and being guided by the very knowledgable Szyon. Very thorough safety briefing and we were provided with dry suit, boots, buoyancy aid. We were all warm even in the middle of December-(recommend a jumper and a hat though). Lovely hot chocolate stop half way round. Incredibly good value for money. Thank you Szyon

Excellent experience today with instructor Szymon. All required equipment (kayak,dry suit, wellington boots and hand protection) is provided and in great condition - surprisingly did not feel at all cold! Full safety debrief carried out before setting off and felt extremely safe with an obviously capable instructor. 100% would recommend and thought it was great value, would happily have paid more. Had a fantastic time on this tour. Great fun to kayak around the historic harbour and beautiful old town. Szymon was very friendly and helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Gdansk, with lots of interesting and funny stories. We were very lucky and had great weather, but I’m confident that if it was colder we’d have been plenty warm enough in the dry suits provided. We had plenty of time to take pictures, and the hot chocolate break in the middle was perfect! Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Gdansk looking for a unique view of the city!

My daughter said that this was the best part of the holiday and we did many activities so this says it all. I couldnt do it because of weight restrictions but my fault for not reading the instructions beforehand.

Thank you, Szymon, for being a competent and funny guide. A must do experince, even if you are a beginner. There's a thorough safety instruction where you learn how to use the kayak properly and what to do if something goes wrong. The trip around the waters of Gdanks was very insightful thanks to the stories of the guide, we had some grewt views of the harbor and the city center. The hot chocolate was a much needed bonus in the middle of our tour. Total time is about 2-2.5 hours depending on the group size, rowing was aprox 4,3 km in total.

We came to Gdansk as a business for a company off-site and we wanted to see the city and have an adventure. The kayaking trip with Around Gdansk was the best way to do this. We learnt a lot about the city and enjoyed doing something a little different. Most of us hadn't kayaked before but we had a great briefing from Mike our tour guide and we felt very safe on the water. Recommended as an activity for anyone from beginners upwards.

An amazing experience. We had 4 days in Gdańsk- exploring, biking, climbing church towers but my kids say winter kayaking was the best experience! We were absolute beginners but Szymon was very professional, knowledgeable, funny and he made the whole experience such an enjoyable one. It was great to see Gdańsk from a different perspective and I can honestly say kayaking gets easier after a bit. I would definitely recommend.

The information on the tour, the guide was brilliant and patient with us that we’re not so good nice breaks in-between and good historical facts I have never don’t anything like this before and I really enjoyed it. Hot chocolate was beautiful it really was a good experience, we received the pictures and was so happy with the pics the guide got deffo worth the price enjoyable experience

Excellent experience, with our guide Szymon, who provided a really nice, relaxed and informative trip on the rivers around the shipyards and Old Town in Gdańsk. Very safe, very comfortable and very worthwhile.

We received a quick tutorial on how to navigate the canals and steering the kayak. Fun and informative, very fun activity and experience. The city was beautiful. Also Szymon (guide) was a fun and charismatic guy

We had a very enjoyable morning kayaking around Gdansk! Szymon our guide was informative with the history of the area and we saw some lovely parts of the old town. The dry suits that we got kept the rain out and the hot chocolate kept us warm! Definitely recommend this tour.

Had an amazing time today, the weather was cold so would advise to wear layers. Water proof gloves is a must. The weather was cold and started to rain which made it even more fun. Definitely recommend as it was alot of fun and the bonus hot chocolate was fab in the middle.

We had the pleasure of kayaking on Valentine’s Day and had loads of fun! Our guide was kind, knowledgable and gave us loads of great tips for both on and off the water. I’d recommend anyone who can to give this a try- even with no experience it’s such a wonderful way to see the city from a different perspective. Amazing experience. It was the first time kajaking for me, but everything got explained very well at the begining. I felt safe and sure. I had so much fun that I knew, I will do somw more kajak after that experience. The guide even had some stories to tell us and a hot chocolate break prepared. The view of the tour is amazing and I can recommend everyone to participate.

It is the best kayak tour in Gdańsk. The organizer Szymon is a very nice person and friendly. While Kayaking, we had some stops to rest and have a pleasant historical explanation from the tour organizer. At one stop we had tasty hot chocolate. He took many cool photos of us while kayaking. I will join again and have this wonderful experience on my next trip. I highly recommend trying it if you are visiting Gdańsk. Thank you Szymon for the great kayak tour.

Had a great time, Szymon is a fun guide with plenty of stories about Gdansk. You don't have to have any experience with kayaking, he will give you a crash course but it's also good fun as an experienced kayaker. The dry suits kept us nice and warm and Szymon took plenty of photos so we have memories of the trip. 10/10 would recommend!
