This tour was really jam packed and moved quickly. It was informative and encompassed a lot of the area. Our guide, Michael, new the area and it's history well and stayed on topic as we had much to cover. Not much time in any one place, particularly Sopot, but I felt like I had a better understanding of the area afterwards.

Fantastic day visiting multiple cities. Mike's knowledge and history of the area was exceptional. We enjoyed our day and itinerary very much.
This was a very informative tour! Marek was very helpful and engaging. He was very patient with our group and answered many questions.
It was a private tour with Mike as our tour guide. Mike was awesome but the places we went for the tour was a meh and for this reason it was way overpriced and not worth over $400 for a couple.
This was a 7 hour private tour. Mike, our driver/guide, was incredible. He had so much knowledge to share. He kept the pace well, was very friendly, and knew his stuff! The man knew his history, the economy, etc. very impressive!!
Many of the other reviews refer to Mike. There is a reason. He is a phenomenal guide, a native of Gdansk, who has lived through the history of Communism and can discuss any information or subject on Poland and these cities. You will not be disappointed if you are in Poland to learn and experience. He picks you up and returns you to your hotel. Our time with him was about 8 hours due to traffic challenges and he wanted to make sure we covered as many important places as possible. We experienced the three cities, which are very different from each other. We visited the parks, the monastery in Gydnia, include a concert in the monastery, which has a 7000 pipe organ. The performance is a must hear for everyone, regardless of your interest in music. The altar and artifacts are gorgeous inside. We went to the port in Gydnia and walked around. After, we visited Sopot, a beach resort and casino area. Here, Mike dropped us off for an hour and gave us basic guidance on what we could go see. And if we wanted to get something to eat, some recommendations affordable places (there are quite a few depending on your desires). While the weather kept the beach goers a way, the time there was a good experience. We returned to Gdansk and visited the museum where Lech Wałęsa's office is located. He was not there the day we visited, but does apparently speak quite often. We went to the old town area, which was very close to our hotel. There we visited St. Mary's Church, a massive facility, very beautiful inside. Mike then walked us around the area and talked about some of the unique history in Gdansk. Mike spent so much time with us, it is hard to summarize the experience any other way than to say, everyone loves Mike's approach to his clients.
This was a great tour. Our guide, Mike, was so very knowledgeable about not only the area but the history of how things had changed over the years. He provided a running commentary throughout the trip. Had adequate time for shopping or drinks so that it was enjoyable.
We received a history lesson on a great tour from a real live local. We have an incredible new perspective of this whole area, including finding my grandfathers proof of immigration from Poland to the States. Don't miss this tour with Mike.
Mike the guide arrived at the hotel to pick us up right on time. The vehicle was clean and Mike was very attentive (opening the doors for us, asking how we were. ETC) Everywhere Mike brought us , he was very knowledgeable about and was able to answer any of our questions. Even when we went off topic. It was very good to get the perspective from someone who lives in Gdansk and was here during the Communist era and the turbulent times leading to democracy as well as life in Gdansk today.
As a trip to see the best of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia in one day, I fully recommend this tour to anyone.
Mike was our tour guide, he was very friendly, knowledgable and had lots of interesting stories about Polish history. We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour and learned a lot.
Our tour guide (Mike) was excellent. He was knowledgeable and shared wonderful info for the 3 Cities and on Poland. I recommend this tour.
It is hard to explain how great the tour was in a short phrase. Was an amazing experience with Mirek today exploring the three cities. He is the Jewel of this tour company who is so knowledgeable and attentive to every single detail. Highly recommend this tour for everyone who visits Gdansk. Even though it was held in November (winter), the whole experience was warm and there was no issue being in the cold month. Super highly recommend...
My tour guide Christopher is super cool with his sufficient historical knowledge, enjoy the tour pretty much.
Mike is very knowledgeable and a history buff, so we learned a lot about Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. He is a careful driver and the tour is a good combination of sightseeing from the van and walking.
We had a great at time with Mr. Mirek. He is full of knowledge about the cities and took us to the most interesting and historical parts. It doesn't get better then this tour.
My wife, Madhu and I had an excellent introduction to the history, culture and sights of Gdansk, Sopot and Gydinia by Mirek Kopec. The guide-cum-driver was very knowledgeable, courteous, punctual and humane. The vehicle for this private trip was clean and comfortable. The driving was very safe. We enjoyed the trip very much and strongly commend this tour, especially with Mirek Kopec.
Tour covered three cities, which was somewhat of a challenge since there is a lot to see, and sometimes it felt a bit rushed. The guide was very knowledgeable and managed the time well - we suggested shorter breaks and our guide agreed, helping with the overall schedule. Would recommend either adding time (about an hour) to this tour, or breaking it up to 2 separate tours.
Mike was a very knowledgeable guide and had a wealth of information about WWII. the organ concert was amazing. The church was beautiful. I would highly recommend Mike as a guide.
Good tour Mike our guide is very knowledgeable But our points of previous tour & this tour is still pending plz send voucher or code
Had booked 2 tours for a group for 3: 1. Private Malbork castle 2. Private Gdansk, Gydnia, Sopot tricity Seemless pretour coordination with Michal. Both days were memorable. Great flexibility provided in the itinerary. Gdansk & surrounds was truly beautiful and made even more memorable by Michal & team. Highly recommend booking with them.
Mike was very knowledgeable. He provided a vast amount of information regarding the tri city area. It was a very enjoyable tour.
My wife and I really enjoyed our tour. Our guide Christopher met us at our hotel right on time. We had an action packed seven hours during which he shared with us the history of the area and the importance of each of the three cities. The breadth of his knowledge was incredible. We highly recommend this tour.
Excellent Tour “Mike” our driver was so informative. His English was fluent; his knowledge of the area and its history outstanding. Very worthwhile and highly recommended
Mirek was very nice and knew a lot about everything. It was an interesting tour over three cities. The cities were different compared to each other which gave the whole trip a nice touch. We now know everything about shipyards! The only thing that was a little bit less great, is the traffic situation. Lots of cars everywhere and we had to wait in lines more than once.
The tour guide had a good knowledge of all the places visited and suggestions of places to visit again
Mirek is great. He's very friendly and very knowledgeable. Planned our schedule to avoid traffic. We learned a lot about Polish history. His English is very good.
Our guide, Michael, was a walking encyclopedia of history and political facts. We were treated to the highlights of three cities as well.. Tour is well worth taking.
This was the perfect way to get to know the area. Our tour guide Mike was a living history book. We learned so much about this beautiful part of Poland.
Mike is a walking history book while presenting the information so that everyone is excited to hear his next story. Thanks for all his research. He was conscious of our needs, stepstool etc making sure everyone had their seatbelts on. Two of us used canes and he made sure we were where we could hear him. Perfect plus….
Excellent trip and tour. We saw a lot of the towns and learned about the history of the area. This region was and is defined by the ports and sea. This is good tour for folks who may not want lots of walking!
Our guide Marek was fabulous. He knew history, politics, geography, culture….. and more. Had a fabulous tour of the three cities.
We chose Gdansk really only because it was a direct flight there and back from Aberdeen, turned out it was the best choice we EVER made!! THE most beautiful and vibrant city we’ve ever visited, the Christmas market started the day we arrived ( 18th of November) the walks and cafes and bars , I could go on. So may trips you can organise on your own or through an agent? The Olivia Star top floor for a meal looking out over Gdansk was one of my favourites, beautiful food and just fabulous staff. The view ( supposed to be for sunset but in November you’d be having dinner at about 3.30! ) Lol but still the views of a snow covered Gdansk at night were fabulous. We did KSI , the shooting range, great fun and worth every penny ( if you like that kind of thing). Stutthof concentration camp. Thought provoking and very very sad. We hired our own guide and minibus, marguerite was amazing and such an amazing guide. The local cafes and restaraunts are all good value and wonderful food. We did book a few but mostly we found somewhere no bother for the six of us. we stayed at DeOnly Wunderland right in the heart of the old town which was beautiful and within walking distance of everything. The best city break I’ve ever been on. Loved, loved , loved it. Every second.
Excellent experience, Mirek our guide was very interesting, professional, knowledgeable, flexible. Cannot recommend him enough. Do not hesitate
Loved this place! We were on a cruise and found this tour to be exactly what we wanted. Saw a lot of the historical place and was given good suggestions for free time. Great!
Mike was extremely knowledgeable of Poland's history specially during communist control time. was a welcome to see a proud person of his heritage.
My driver guide was full of information, but I think the sequencing of the day could have gone better. Also needed more and vetted suggestions for restaurants, since he thought it was too early for me to try to have lunch in Gydnia. My Achilles tendon was bothering me so that limited some walking opportunities for sure. The driver did his best to get me close to spots where I could enjoy some brief walking nonetheless. He also made an excellent suggestion for dinner and dropped me off near the spot in the old town on the river in Gdansk. All in all, an enjoyable day despite the restaurant snafus mid day.
Mike was very informative, very good English, he went above and beyond the itinerary. Great experience and highly recommended.
Tour was amazing and fully tailormade! Cool and special guide service tour with beautiful places to discover!
Driver was very informative and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the organ concert in the church. Probably could have skipped Gydinia and spent a few more minutes in Sopot or Gdansk. It was a long day but very educational.
I had an amazing day at the trip. I didn't have much time for sightseeing as I was visiting for business. This one day trip was a perfect way to see the highlights of Tricity (Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot). I am planning to visit Gdansk again this summer with my friends and will definitely use this company again.
The 3 city tour was very interesting and worthwhile. The guide was knowledgeable and thorough in his answers to our questions. The sites chosen for the tour were interesting and accessible. We highly recommend this tour as an introduction to the Gdansk area,
So much to see!! It was a very good tour if you don’t have time. Very profesional and nice guide. She was waiting us at the train platform as we were coming from Warsow.
I turned to Tours in Gdansk with a request to organize the stay of my colleagues from Slovakia in Gdansk. A perfectly prepared offer suited our expectations. We chose a trip around the Tri-City and a trip to the Hel Peninsula. The group was captured, the tours made a huge impression on them. I will certainly use the services of this company during the next visit of foreign guests.
I wanted a tour that would allow me to explore the area around Gdansk, and this ended up being a good choice. My guide was Mike, and he picked me up right on time and we started out with a walking tour of Old Town Gdansk for the first couple hours of our day. He was full of knowledge and history, and was pleasant to be around. He even gave me some great tips for places to eat or shop for amber jewelry later, and he recommended I take the pirate ship out to Westerplatte the next day, to see where the first battle of WWII on European soil took place (it's not part of the tour). After Gdansk, we drove in a comfortable mini-bus to the nearby town of Oliwa - but because it was Good Friday, the organs were not being played in the church, so we walked around the park anyway. We also saw some interesting Communist buildings (I particularly liked the "longest building" near the university campus), and throughout the day Mike had some interesting stories to tell about living through the years of Communism. Next we drove to Sopot where I had an hour of free time for lunch and wandering the town and pier. Mike then met up with me again and gave me history about the town of Sopot, the wooden pier, and the hotels in town. Next we drove to Gdynia and explored some of the harbor and historical ships there, and Mike explained more of the history there. We took the highway back to Gdansk and we stopped at the Solidarity monument and went into the museum for a view of the shipyards from the roof. He then took me back to my hotel right on time. Overall, this was a great way to get a wide range of information and history about these towns on the Baltic sea that are all very different.
Fantastic tour. We have utilized Viators in many countries. Mike was one of the very best tour guides. He was passionate about history, extremely knowledgeable, and very experience as a guide who has led tours across the globe. We highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour. The professional guide picked us up on time at our hotel and took us to highlights of these areas with good information at each site. We did not feel rushed and he answered all our questions. His English was very good.

Our guide was amazing. We saw the Gdynia Harbor with the naval ships and boardwalk. We went to the solidarity museum and our guide reflected the national pride which enhanced our experience. We toured the Old city and had lunch, saw Royal Street, Amber street and the cathedral. We then were taken to St Mary's Cathedral where we heard the 3 organs play at 3 pm and saw Sopot on the way home. Our tour guides knowledge and experience and his emotions enhanced our tour!

We were very curious about this city. Our expectations were far exceeded. Beata was awesome she knew so much, and every question she could answer was great.
Gdansk, one of the most beautiful Polish cities, beautiful old town, the Golden Gate, Green Gate, World War II museum, amber museum, old wooden crane, many restaurants, terraces, souvenir shops, many places to stay cheap.
