Gdansk Private Bike Tour

Lucas gave a great tour with lots of historical context. Bikes were in great condition and comfortable. We also appreciated his recommendations for food and which museums to prioritize.

This was my 15 year old daughter's favorite excursion in Poland. It was a great way to see the sites and learn history on a not so strenuous bike ride. We learned so much about Gdansk and would highly recommend this to others.

This bike tour in Gdansk was very informative and enjoyable. Our guide, Lukas, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. It was really fun to take part in such an educational tour.

Lukas was our guide and he was very fun and very vice about Gdansk history. The tour was interesting and fun. We got to see a lot of Gdansk and learn about there history. The bikes were very good and we could get helmets and bags for the bikes

there was some discussion beforehand about the language (english or german) and use of own bikes. In this case a lower zloty-amount was promised (ca 50 Euro less), but the original price had already been transferred. Now we're still waiting for a response from Viator wether we get 50 Euros back. Apart from that, the guided tour (by Martha) was excellent. We enjoyed it very much and leared a lot about Gdansk, its history and the wonderful city center renovated in historic style. (Eventually, the tour was in German and we used our own bikes)

Enjoyable and interesting tour for both the children, age 13 and 15, and me. I was a bit worried about the traffic at first, but it was not a problem at all. I felt safe and relaxed throughout the whole trip.

Awesome tour! Bożena is very knowledgeable and friendly, worth every penny! We enjoyed our private tour and learned so much, despite being Polish ourselves! It's a great start to your Gdańsk trip.

I highly recommend a bike tour with Bożena. She tells her stories in a relaxed way, she is knowledgeable and friendly. Discovering Gdańsk by bike gives you the opportunity to discover off-the-beaten-track locations and streets.

Highlight tour by bike. Our guide spoke English, know a lot about the history of Poland and Gdansk. Saw a lot the first day and made it easier to find our way the second day. Took 3 hours. Still regret not having hired a bike to cycle to Slopot ( app. 15 km). A fibrant beach town .

I joined the 3 hour cycle tour, which was a brilliant introduction to the diverse nature of Gdansk, including the port. Bozena is a great guide, very knowledgable, interesting, and patient when we wished to snap away more before moving on! She also frequently offered to take photos of us and provided some good tips on more hidden places to eat and visit. I strongly recommend this tour for getting a snapshot of this great city. What a fabulous way to get to know this beautiful city.Our lovely guide took us along a very well planned route which was full of variety and never boring.During the 3 hour tour we were given a valuable insight into the history,politics,art ,architecture and nature of Gdańsk.My 11 year old son also enjoyed this tour immensely.Dont miss it !

Did a solo old city tour with Sebastian, great tour and person. He is very illustrative in his explanations. I recommend him.

On arrival to the bike shop for the tour we was met by Dawid, a very pleasant man who showed us the bikes we were to use. These bikes where old city bikes of a fixed gear nature with a reverse braking action. Unfortunately the 'one size' bike was too big for my partner and coupled with the difficulty to manoeuvre the pedals to get on to the bike, she wasn't confident riding it (she is an experienced cyclist also) At this point i didn't feel happy to ride and if we walked away at that point i would have been slightly aggrieved, but in acceptance that although the bike was too big it would have been our choice not to ride. However, Dawid phoned Sebastian and after a 5 minute conversation he agreed to cancel the ride from his end and for us to Contact Victor for a refund witnessed by Dawid and the bike shop owner. When we requested a refund through viator it was the opposite, he refused the refund in bad faith (the sum of £120) for the pair of us stating we were not entitled. This tour may be the best in Gdansk but beware of this shady character and definitely do not take his word, i hope Sebastian enjoys his ill gotten gains from this particular episode! Sent from my S

There were 15 of us in Gdansk for the weekend (it was a 'stag do' for my friend). We decided to book the 4 hour bike tour on Saturday afternoon. I wasn't sure how a 'traditional' bike tour would go down with the group, but everyone loved it. It was a welcome break from all the eating and drinking we did. Sebastian was really knowledgeable about Gdansk history, but also good fun and light-hearted. There was also lots about modern culture etc, so really a lot more than a 'traditional' tour. Seb was able to vary the pace and route according to our needs. We stopped for a drink on the way, and had another at the end. You'd be missing out to come to Gdansk and not take some time out to see some of the sights. Seb also had some great recommendations for the rest of the weekend, which proved spot on. I'd not recommend drinking too much alcohol before the trip, as there's lots to see and cars etc to look out for, and plenty of time for that afterwards (as well as the odd stop off on the way). I thought the four hour tour would be too long, and we were expecting to cut it short, but all the lads really enjoyed it and the time went quickly. Highly recommended, these are a dedicated and enthusiastic young bunch of guys, and I'd say they could adapt the tour to suit any style or participants, as they certainly accommodated us well. We had the best day with Sebastian! He shares his city with you in a way that you will not soon forget. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to enjoy the sights and learn the history in an ‘off the beaten track’ style. Nothing offered on the cruise ship would’ve come anywhere close to this experience. We have done a variety of Biketour’s in the past and enjoyed all of them this was far away our favorite experience.

Myself and 10 other friends booked the cycle trip to not just sit in all the local bars/ and restaurants but to explore the city and what makes Gdańsk so special, and it was worth the money we paid, which I need to add WORTH THE MONEY!!! The tour guide Wojtek was brilliant, looked after us, had fantastic knowledge about his home town. Highly would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the city.

11 of us visited Gdansk for a stag do and decided that this bike tour would give us chance to see more than just bars in this beautiful city. We convened at a central location at 10am to meet Wojtek for a 3 hour bike tour. This tour was easy going and a good laugh. Wojtek was very informative and really knew his stuff. We saw parts of the city we would never have even dreamed of visiting had we not gone on this tour. His passion for his home town was clear. I would highly recommend this tour

Wojtek made our cycle tour amazing. We learnt so much about Gdansk and would recommend it to anyone traveling here. Allow 4 hours for the trip and you will be talking about it for days afterwards. The bikes were very comfortable and the ride was a nice pace.

Sebastian showed the four of us around Gdansk during the bike tour. We loved his very passionate and interesting stories. He definitely knows a lot about the city’s history, fun facts, must sees and off the beaten track places to go. Above all he is a very cool guy and we had a fantastic day with him. So go for it and I guarantee you won’t regret. Next time we will call Sebastian again and join the kayak tour.

Vi havde en skøn tur med vores guide i Gdansk. Cyklerne var spritnye og der var god affjedring på de mange brosten. Vores guide var betænksom, opmærksom og fortalte med stor begejstring og humor. Vi var 2 voksne (50) og 3 unge (start 20ˋerne). Vores guide spurgte ind til, hvad vi allerede kendte til Gdansk og Polen og tog afsæt i det og vores forskellige aldre og kendskab. Da vi allerede havde været på guide tur på Solidaritetsmuseet sprang vi let henover det og brugte i stedet tiden på andre dele af byen. Hvis man vil lære en by at kende fra en anden vinkel, så giver det større rækkevidde at gøre det på cykel. Alle kan være med. Gdansk er en flad by. De varmeste anbefalinger herfra.
