Rezydent Hotel Sopot - Mgallery Collection

I liked this hotel, and was very well treated within its walls. It was in the perfect spot to use the railway station too. I am coming back later in 2026, and I hope that my second visit will be as positive as the first.

I genuinely struggle to understand how this hotel has earned a 5-star rating. Based on the quality of the amenities, service, and cleanliness, it feels much closer to a 3-star property. With the exception of one gentleman at reception, the front desk staff were cold, disengaged, and appeared to lack basic hospitality training. Simple courtesies such as greeting guests with a smile seemed to be missing. The room itself was disappointing. There was visible dust on the bathroom shelf where the towels were stored, the body lotion dispenser was not functioning, there were insufficient towels provided, and several other basic details had clearly been overlooked. This is, without question, the most disappointing hotel I have stayed at that claims to be a 5-star property. I would not recommend it and certainly would not choose to stay here again.

This hotel is more like a 5-star luxury hotel. Everything here is special. From the reception, the staff were so professional and welcoming. The room was absolutely amazing — the king-size bed was the best! The bathroom was spotless, modern, and beautifully designed. Even the shampoo, lotion, soap, and hand wash were high-quality products. The restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was incredible with so many delicious options. The staff were very professional, friendly, and always ready to provide anything you needed. The location is spot on — only a 10–12 minute walk to Sopot Beach, which made everything even more convenient and enjoyable. I will definitely come back again with my family!

Great location at the train station and top of the hill. Very close to the large Aldi hypermarket and many shops and restaurants although the best restaurants are further down the beach away from the central tourist area. The buffet breakfast at the hotel directly across from this one is almost half the price. The rooms are very hot with air-conditioning that doesn’t really work but opening a window you’ll get a nice breeze. The service at the front desk restaurant and spa are barely there but they’re not unfriendly, they’re just aloof. If you want a modern hotel at a decent price this is one of the better options.
