Courtyard By Marriott Gdynia Waterfront

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent stay at Courtyard by Marriott Gdynia Waterfront. The hotel is wonderful, all the facilities are great, and the waterfront view is absolutely beautiful. What truly made my stay special, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A very special thank you to Ola, who went above and beyond when I needed an adapter and couldn’t find one. She took the time to write down detailed information about stores where I could find it, including their locations, distance from the hotel, prices, and even pictures! I have honestly never experienced this level of thoughtful and attentive service before. Thank you so much, Ola, for your exceptional kindness and support, and thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. This is the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back again. ❤️ Highly recommended!

The food is absolutely fantastic, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The views are simply marvelous, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the stay, while the location could not be more perfect. Everything comes together beautifully here — delicious food, breathtaking views, and an ideal location. A truly memorable experience and a place I would happily return to.

I had a lovely stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Gdynia Waterfront. As the other reviewers have mentioned, it's beautifully situated right on the marina with a gorgeous view. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Special shout out and thank you to: Kornel, Joanna, Alexandra, Mateus, Andrzej, Jakub, Marlina, Daria, Lucas, Chris, Olga, Veronica, and Nicole. (I hope I didn't omit any names). I had a peaceful night's sleep and my bed was very comfortable. I would say the decor in the room was very traditional. I had delicious dinners there and the breakfasts were also fabulous! The only "cons" if I'm being completely honest is that I was really bummed I couldn't enjoy dining outside due to the large number of smokers present. The only other "con" was that I felt the water pressure in my shower was extremely light and the faucet at the sink seemed to spray water all over the place. I'm hoping that's an easy fix for future guests! And perhaps you can have a designated area for smokers so that the non-smokers can enjoy dining outside too. Just a thought... Other than that, I had a lovely stay. it's a great location if you want to walk a little bit and board a ferry to Hel Peninsula. I also was able to hop in an Uber and enjoy a day trip to Sopot as well. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Check-in was great, and the room was fine too. Breakfast was very good. Despite all that, I initially felt cheated. I rented a conference room and asked about the price in advance – I was quoted a maximum of 900 PLN. The next day, I was charged 2900 PLN. I had to spend over an hour explaining the whole situation. On top of that, I was charged for coffee for 13 people, even though I never used it or ordered it. I reported the issue the next day to the manager, who was exceptionally unfriendly and told me I still had to pay 2900 PLN – even though the day before someone from the staff had agreed to 999 PLN. In the end, I paid 999 PLN, plus the coffee that I never ordered. My original thought was to never organize anything here again and to warn everyone to check their bills twice. UPDATE: The hotel management has since reached out, apologized for the situation, and compensated me with loyalty points. I really appreciate this gesture and their effort to make things right. Because of this, my overall impression has improved, though I still recommend double-checking your bill before paying.
