We had a three night stay, half board with the wellness package for my 40th birthday. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a stunning location. The facilities are excellent and very clean - the massages are particularly recommended. The food in both the morning and evening was excellent - with no problems for gluten free which was really appreciated. The menu was largely set for the evening which may be an issue if you didn't like something but we didn't have this problem. Our room didn't appear to have air-conditioning but managing the windows in the evening kept it sufficiently cool. There were a couple of points which could have been improved to make this 5-star - on arrival we were unable to get much information on the facility. Our German is basic and there was only one staff member on reception who had very little English. This meant we were unaware of some of what the hotel had to offer and were a bit unclear on some details - for example, we only discovered the panoramic swimming pool on the upper floor the second day after arrival and were not aware of the free gorge passes until the day we left (when I read a review on here). We had already paid at this point for the walk. I have no problem with the staff member, but a booklet of guest information in English in the room with some details on the hotel and local benefits would have helped with this and improved the experience. The main disappointment for me was the lack of any acknowledgement of my actual birthday. I had specified the stay was specifically for this in my reservation information and ticked the box saying the hotel could note my birthday when completing the guest information on their website (a prerequisite to arrival). I mentioned it to staff twice through the day, one being surprised the hotel didn't do something for me. I don't really know what I was expecting, perhaps a prosecco breakfast or complimentary drink from the bar at night but there was nothing. On the whole, I highly recommend the hotel for a quiet stay in a beautiful location, but based on my experience it might not be the best for special occasions if you want to feel acknowledged. One final note over which the hotel has no control but people should be aware of - the road to the facility is incredibly busy with people visiting the gorge walk and mountains. They will not easily give way for a car meaning the journey to the car park is pretty stressful and slow. Just expect to take your time. Also, download the QR code for the barrier and gondola before arrival, I had no signal at the carpark to do this (the staff were very helpful in resolving this).

A unique hotel with stunning views and best in class leisure and health facilities. Reached by a private cable car Das Graseck is in an amazing setting near to the famous Partnach gorge. Bedrooms are very comfortable, the food at breakfast and dinner has been outstanding and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Great overall experience and very nice location! You have to take a cable car to get up to the hotel, which I found very unique and a cool addition. The staff was prepared upon my arrival, and even had a spot for me to have dinner that was ready for me. I also could not have asked for a better room - very modern design, large balcony, and a great view of the mountains. If I make it back towards this city in the future, I will for sure stay here again.
This is a very nice hotel. The food was amazing, the room was great, the view was unmatched! 10/10 recommend. Downside, it’s kind of a pain to get to if you’re traveling without a car and suit cases. We came in by train and the taxi driver didn’t want to drop us at the cable car but at the ski jump which is 3/4 mile away. You must take a cable car to the hotel and it is a pretty difficult walk for older folks.
We stayed 3 days at this Resort. Our overall experience is very good. The location is amazing, we were lucky to get also a snowfall and the view from our room was incredible. The breakfast is good but a bit limited compared to resorts of the same price level. The dinner was overall good, not excellent, what is absolutely unreceivable is to pay 6.40 Euro for a bottle of water of 75cl. The Hotel is not very kids friendly, for them there is nothing to do, other than using the pool on the 2nd floor from 10 AM to 12 PM. What should they do after that ? At least you could organize a miniclub or a room where they can play. The water of both pools was not warm enough, especially in the evening we found it quite chilly. The SPA on the ground floor is a "only nude" area, we find it hygienically speaking very border line, we never found such a rule in other Resorts of the same level. As I said the experience was regardless these things very good. You must adapt yourself and have kids that don't complain 😄
