Reviews
We recently had a two night stay through an Intrepid tour. The carpet in the hall ways had numerous stains. Towels were thread bearing with holes. Well appointed kitchenette with not a single piece of cutlery or crockery.
Would not stay there again.
If you love efficiency, this is the place to be. The self-check-in kiosk was incredibly smooth and entirely hassle-free—I didn't have to interact with a single person, which was honestly a massive plus after a long day of traveling. The room was great and came equipped with absolutely everything you could need. On top of that, the parking space was excellent and easy to navigate. Streamlined, comfortable, and independent. Highly recommend
Marina Bay in Sokcho is a fantastic spot for a relaxing stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering beautiful views of the water. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making your stay smooth and enjoyable. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway while still being close to local attractions and dining. A great choice for families, friends, or couples looking for a memorable trip.
The hotel is overall fine. The room was okay; however, the bathroom was not clean enough for my taste, especially the shower. The floors in the hallway were also not very clean. These are minor issues that can be overlooked.
On the positive side, the view from our room was excellent, and there are plenty of parking spaces available in the underground garage.
The hotel was mostly quiet and peaceful. It is in walking distance of the beach, lake, various parks, restaurants, eMart, Daiso, Express Bus Terminal, and a Megabox movie theater. My only concern was the condition of the pool. With as many people paying to use it, the cleanliness could be better. A good pressure washing would do it wonders. Measures to avoid mildew would be helpful, too. I'll definitely consider staying here again in the future.
