Hotel Withus Jeongdongjin

I checked in and opened the door, only to find someone else in the room. I called the lobby, and they told me it was a duplicate room assignment. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. But they didn't even apologize first. Even when I went back to the lobby, they didn't say anything first, saying they were just sorting out the schedule. The weather was so hot, and I was carrying all my luggage, so I wasn't in a good mood, but I just went back upstairs. When I entered the room, they were on the phone again. They said they were checking something. Even then, there wasn't really any apology. If that person had been changing clothes or showering, this wouldn't have just been overlooked. It seemed like the staff weren't taking it seriously. When I went down to check out in the early morning, there was only the key return box and no one was there, so I couldn't say anything more. I don't know if you'll see this, but I'm leaving this as a review anyway. The room condition was good, but the response was... really disappointing.

Since the hotel is relatively new, the rooms were clean. While some of the front desk staff were friendly, others had a stiff attitude. It was nice that each room had a microwave and a large refrigerator. You can also enjoy the sunrise from the hotel rooftop. The breakfast buffet is currently being prepared for opening, but you can purchase brunch instead; the lady who prepares the brunch is the kindest person at the hotel.

The value for money is insane. I stayed there on a Friday night for 70,000 won, and it was very clean and well-maintained overall. The convenience store had everything you could need, and although I didn't take a picture, there was even a "Life 4 Cuts" machine. The staff member who checked me in was also very friendly. However, while it doesn't seem to be susceptible to noise between rooms, strangely enough, the sound of the toilet flushing upstairs was very loud; that was peculiar. Other than that, overall, there are no frills considering the price.

This newly built building is a great place to stay overnight. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, and the heating is so good, especially on cold days, that you might want to sleep with the door slightly open. While the nearby Hourglass Park and coastal trail are a bit out of the way for a walk, access is a 1-2 minute drive away, and the free parking lot makes for easy access. The ocean and sunrise views from the rooftop in the morning are also spectacular.
