I stayed at this hotel for a few days in January of this year. To be fair, I must say that the room itself was very satisfying, and the ski-in/ski-out access was incredibly convenient and made for a fantastic experience. However, it is a great pity that the service fell far short of what one would expect. On the first day, I had an extremely unpleasant interaction with a young male staff member (he wore glasses, had fair skin, and a slightly heavy build). When he provided us with some facial cleansing products, he repeatedly insisted on confirming the scent. We clearly expressed that the lemon scent was perfectly fine, but for some reason, he became visibly agitated. He started rolling his eyes, slapping his own forehead, and audibly exclaimed, "Jesus!" Even if there were minor communication barriers, he could have easily used a translation app to bridge the gap. Instead, he chose to display such rude and unprofessional behavior. After acting out, he just walked away coldly. It is truly a shame that such a great location is let down by such unprofessional service standards. I am writing this to share my experience so that future guests can manage their expectations accordingly.

Maybe one of the worst IHG experiences I have had. I am Diamond tier and even received an upgrade but while the room was spacious. It was old with mold, broken bathroom door handles, and general uncleanliness. The beds were not comfortable at all—the worst I have had at an IHG property. The breakfast was adequate but expensive. It is not worth $15 per child under 12. Service was not great either. The location is great especially the winter but in the summer it is slower but nice.
Very dated, shower head broken, no bathroom towels, remote for air conditioning will not work, dirty cabinets, no counter space in bathroom, couch looked like it has been used for 20 years. Worst hotel I have stayed in for 50 years. When checking out we found that you have to pay for bath towels.
A cozy mountain stay with modern comfort year-round. Scenic views, spacious rooms, and easy access to ski slopes and attractions make it perfect for both winter sports and relaxing escapes.
Really unsure how this hotel got such a good rating. The rooms are so dated. Doesn’t look like they have been updated since the Olympics in 2018, with holes in the walls and rotting kitchen counter. The first room we were given had a counter bench that was falling to pieces , that’s after moving through the ski hire shop filled with people. The only way we were able to find the room in the first place, was that another resident was kind enough to help us as there was no signage or assistance from the staff. The second room we were placed in after asking to change wasn’t much better. We don’t even get bath towels supplied, as these are an additional cost. This is the worst Holiday Inn that we’ve stayed in and I am so surprised they would put their name to such a place. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. This has completely ruined our holiday to South Korea. The only saving grace was the friendliness of the front counter staff and the cleanliness of the room.
