Reviews
One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at on our trip to Sri Lanka. The staff are so attentive, friendly and are always ready to help with anything you need. There’s a pool, a spa and lots of beautiful communal spaces to hang out if you’re travelling with a big group. The villa itself has a beautiful old-world colonial feel. Breakfast is served at Taavetti Beach Club which is a short walk away from the villa and has a private beach.
We stayed at Taavetti Hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a calm and peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing stay.
A special thanks to one of the front office staff members. He was kind, professional, and always ready to help. His excellent hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable.
Thank you to the entire team. We highly recommend Taavetti Hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
Wonderful hotel, fabulous staff 😍
We were surprised and delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful large corner room with a balcony in this gorgeous villa. Very comfortable room with large windows facing the garden and ocean glimpses. Grateful for both air conditioning and a ceiling fan in the heat. Spacious bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities with a small bar fridge in the room. Appreciated bottled water being supplied each day. Made good use of the pool to cool off after our outings each day.
We dined morning and evening at Taavetti Beach Club just across the road facing the beach. So convenient and great service.
Extensive menu at a reasonable price. While we could have gone to Galle Fort restaurants, only a short Tuk Tuk ride away, we preferred the food and peacefulness of Taavetti Beach Club. Staff at both places are exceptional, it really made our holiday being made to feel so welcome.
Thank you everyone at Taavetti, we’ll be back 😊
We had a wonderful experience with Taavetti Beach Villa, even though we couldn’t make our trip in the end. Due to unexpected travel issues, we were unable to fly, but the team went above and beyond by adjusting our booking without any hassle — something we truly appreciated during a stressful time.
A special mention to the manager, Ivanka, who was incredibly helpful, understanding, and always willing to go the extra mile. His professionalism and kindness really stood out and made a lasting impression on us.
They also shared some of their future plans for the property, and it’s clear that Taavetti Beach Villa is only going to get better with time. Based on this experience alone, we would absolutely consider staying here in the future and highly recommend them for their exceptional service and hospitality.
What a blissful experience we had.
It was our first wedding anniversary and we came to this exquisite boutique Hotel. As we were running down the Fort Lane, we were skeptical as the property is bit away from the downtown but entering to this beauty gave us a sigh of relief. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Viraaj attended us and made the best possible requested for our first wedding anniversary. We also spotted peacocks 🦚 and across the road is their mesmerizing antique large door Opening to the heaven - the beach. Cleanliness and hygiene drew our heart to details.
Amazing experience!!
