The property is excellent with an awesome view and location. The food is great The drinks are surprisingly reasonable and they have 4 exceptional restaurants. The staff is very good. The only downside is that the other restaurant food is not allowed in any restaurant. Besides that the 2 swimming pools are awesome
We stayed for one night in December 2025 and this was our 2nd stay in Lighthouse. Staff was just out of this world, so friendly and accomodative. Food was great specially the lobster they cooked for us for dinner and the breakfast buffet was incredible. Hotel is truly a heritage and the sunrise and sunsets you never get enough by viewing from the hotel's beach, just unexplainable experience
We had a wonderful time at Jetwing Lighthouse. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning views, a relaxing atmosphere, and a lovely setting by the ocean. It is a great place to enjoy a peaceful time and experience the charm of Galle. A special thank you to Mr. Sameera, the F&B Manager, who was very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. We also appreciated the way he handled a small issue we experienced with great understanding and professionalism. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and the hospitality of the team. We will definitely be coming back again and look forward to another lovely experience at Jetwing Lighthouse.
Our stay at Jetwing Lighthouse was excellent from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally attentive, warm, and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Mr. Pradeep and Mr. Alwis, who went above and beyond to make our visit particularly enjoyable for our son. They took the time to prepare and present his meals in a fun, child-friendly way and always made sure he felt special and well looked after. Their thoughtfulness and kindness truly stood out. The Sri Lankan food spread was fantastic, and our room (Maharaja Suite) was wonderful—comfortable, spacious, and a pleasure to come back to each day. The view was breathtaking - even for Sri Lankans like us who are born and bread in this beautiful island. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would happily recommend Jetwing Lighthouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay. We would certainly love to return, hopefully for an even longer stay next time!
I’ve been coming to Sri Lanka since the 1980s and traveling here with my family since 2015. Cinnamon Signature Bentota has been our reigning favorite for years, but Jetwing Lighthouse Galle just took the crown! We stayed here for 4 days after a great experience at Jetwing Colombo Seven, and it exceeded all expectations. • The Room: We booked the Moroccan Suite. Large, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of room for two extra beds for the kids. The view of the sea and the crashing waves below is mesmerizing. • The Staff: Genuine and highly efficient. A special shoutout to Jayan and Nadeeka for their attentive, friendly care. All requests were handled promptly, and management quickly compensated for an early pricing mistake with some lovely freebies. • The Property: Stunning architecture with a beautiful flow. Spotlessly clean with warm, smiling staff at every turn. It boasts the best swimming pools we’ve ever experienced in Sri Lanka, a great gym, and a serene, deceptively large spa that is reasonably priced. • The Food: We dined at all the restaurants on the property, and the Pan-Asian restaurant was by far the best! Note for families: The only minor drawbacks are the lack of a dedicated Kid's Club and the expansive sandy beach you'd find at Bentota. Despite those two minor points, we left feeling more relaxed and content than any other stay we’ve ever had. Jetwing Lighthouse is an absolute gem and our new #1 spot in Sri Lanka.
