A Quiet and Spacious Retreat with Room to Grow Nestled in a wonderfully calm and peaceful setting, this cozy two-room property offers a very relaxing escape with plenty of indoor space. The rooms are impressively spacious and comfortable, making it a quiet spot to unwind if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. We ultimately decided not to stay and canceled our reservation. the owner was very reasonable to work with. We appreciated their flexibility when they originally waived the reservation fee upon booking, and the cancellation fee was handled fairly. Areas for Future Enhancement: Privacy & Views: The bathroom features an open-space concept, but as it continues to mature and grow with landscaping (unlike older properties such as Vil Uyana), some surrounding construction was visible from the bath area. Once the trees and foliage fill in overhead, this will be a stunning feature! Facilities: The pool is on the smaller side, and the room's refrigerator could use a quick maintenance check for a minor water leak (likely because it had been turned off for a long time). This is a charming little startup with a lot of potential. With a few finishing touches on the landscaping and room upkeep, it will be a wonderful hideaway for travelers seeking quiet solitude.

We booked 12 nights and had a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed our time here. The property and the rooms look just like the pictures, and everything is very clean, well maintained, and taken care of. The service was excellent throughout our stay. Kumudu and Era were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful and always made a genuine effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Even when we had special requests, they were very accommodating and always tried their best to fulfill them. Communication was always easy, pleasant, and helpful. Whenever we had a question or needed something, we received a quick response and support. The entire team was very friendly and welcoming. One of the staff members also has a tuk-tuk, which was very convenient and could be used as a taxi whenever needed. The breakfast was wonderful and another highlight of our stay. A big thank you to Kumudu, Era, and the entire team for making our stay in Galle so comfortable and enjoyable. We felt very welcome and well looked after throughout our time here. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and would happily stay here again!

There is absolutely nothing not to love about Ceylon Olive Galle. From the moment we booked, Kumudu was incredibly communicative, warm, and helpful, making us feel welcome before we had even arrived. His hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional. The property itself is stunning. Beautifully designed with thoughtful attention to every detail, it perfectly captures the charm and character of a traditional Sri Lankan guesthouse while offering every modern comfort. It was, without question, the most beautiful and immaculately clean accommodation we stayed in during our trip around Sri Lanka. The location is ideal—peacefully situated between Galle Fort and Unawatuna Beach, giving you the best of both worlds. It's wonderfully quiet, yet only a 10-minute tuk tuk ride to either destination. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order each morning and was absolutely delicious. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we genuinely looked forward to returning to the guesthouse after each day of exploring. If you're looking for a place that combines authentic Sri Lankan hospitality, beautiful design, comfort, and an excellent location, Ceylon Olive Galle is an outstanding choice. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at the start of July 26. Me and my family of 5 with a 22, 20 and 16year old for four nights. Fabulous location, lovely rooms and a nice quiet part of Galle. Only a few minutes by tuktuk into the fort and busy central town area. Our host, Kumudu, was great and arranged everything. Highly recommend for a stay in Galle
