Transfer Airport-hotel In Galapagos Santa Cruz With Visit To Giant Tortoises

Great experience and lovely introduction to Galapagos while waiting for Airbnb check in. The guide was super nice and had a lot of information to share.

Due to a sudden black out in our residential area, we decided to stay out for 01 night and made a last-minute booking at Amagi Aria Negombo. Since we had visited this hotel twice in the past few months, we didnt think twice, to call the hotel to make a quick booking. Once we reached the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the very kind gesture, of the hotel RM, Mr Dinesh, who had instructed the front desk to upgrade us, to a Delux Premium room and it was the same room we stayed during our last visit! We would like to say a big thank you the Front Desk team (sadly I dont remember there names), for providing us a warm welcome and attending to a smooth check in/out, since we were so exhausted and tired when we arrived, after the power outage at our residence. On a very special note, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to Mr Dinesh the Resident Manager, who went out of his way to make us feel very comfortable and relaxed through out our stay. Also a very big thank you, to Chef Manjula and his kitchen team, for the fabulous food that was offered during our stay. We immensely enjoyed our short stay, in the delux premium room as it was spacious, clean, very comfortable and had a balcony with a great lagoon view! We are happy to recommend this hotel to anyone, who wish to enjoy nice food, relax and chill out, either for a short or long stay, as it is located very conveniently, between Negombo town and the Katunayake airport and has easy access to Katunayake express way too! We had an amazing big day!! What a wonderful welcome to the Galápagos Islands!! Everything was taken care of for us so no need to worry about bus and ferry tickets or luggage, explored despite the rain (and kept the luggage totally dry) and got to visit the tortoise reserve!!! Thank you again for a wonderful introduction to the Galapagos!!!

Well organized and awesome experience. My only negative comment is that this is well overpriced for what it is, but if you want a hassle-free experience, then this is perfect. Our guide, Jefferson, was super friendly and informative, and overall a great pleasure.

This tour made getting from the airport in Baltra to Puerto Ayora in Santa Cruz a breeze! Jefferson my guide was friendly and knowledgeable! Wonderful experience to see the tortoises, los gemelos and lava tunnels along the ride.

This is an excellent way to transfer from the Baltra airport and experience the Galapagos on Day 1! It was just my college-age daughter and myself for this private transfer. Andres and the driver, Jose, met us at baggage claim and made the process of bus, ferry and water taxi so easy because we just had to follow them - any fees were taken care of. Andres was very knowledgeable about the island. Seeing the giant tortoises so close was incredible and very special by having a private guide to tell us about them and their contributions to the island. The lava tunnels are in the same location and also a great experience. It was raining pretty hard but they give you rain boots. So happy we booked this!

This was the best tour experience I have ever had! We learned so much and not just about where we toured but also about the people the island and the way of being on this unique and beautiful place.

Ricardo was on time to greet us at Baltra. He is a friendly, polite, and knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humor. We highly recommend this airport pick up option especially if you have limited time on Santa Cruz. On the way to our hotel we stopped at Los Gemelos, lava tunnels and Rancho Primicias giant tortoise reserve. We had a fresh good snack (empanadas) at the reserve. Carlos was a good and helpful driver. Definitely recommend this option as an efficient way to use your time if you don’t plan to go north again on the island.

Great plane to hotel excursion. We wanted to see the giant tortoises in the wild as part of our journey from the airport on Beltran to Puerto Ayora. This excursion combined dedicated transportation with an informative trip. Our guide Andy was excellent and engaged our late-teen grandsons in educational experiences. Highly recommend.

Our guide was wonderful! She was waiting for my family with our name on a board once we cleared customs at the airport. She helped us onto the bus, then the boat, then a private ride towards our hotel. On the way we stopped to see a crater, the huge tortoises, and a quick drive through the town so we knew where things were. We saw most of Santa Cruz Island just from this transfer and I highly recommend this company!

This trip was easy and allowed us to explore the island before checking into our hotel. Our guide Jefferson was knowledgeable and took time at the end of the trip to drive through town and point out place to eat and shop. Great experience!

Taking this tour was the perfect way to start our trip to the Galapagos. The tour guide, Ricardo Loor, was excellent and was waiting right there at the Baltra airport to pick us up, even after our flight time was changed to arrive an hour earlier. They track your flight to make sure they are there when you arrive. The bus fee and ferry fee were included in the tour price. Ricardo was very helpful throughout the tour, giving us time to eat lunch and when one of our group forgot her gifts at the tortoise reserve, Ricardo called the place and had someone bring it back to us. Ricardo is also a fountain of knowledge and can answer any question you have about the Galapagos and was helpful in getting us the best photos of the tortoises. All in all, a great trip!

We were picked up at the airport by our guide, Jefferson, and he helped us with the whole process of getting to our hotel. On the way, we stopped to see the giant tortoises and lava tunnels in the highlands. We really enjoyed the tour and it was made even better by Jefferson. He was super friendly and knowledgeable (and also very patient with our young daughter!). We highly recommend this tour and if you can, request Jefferson as your guide because you won’t be disappointed!

My family of five really enjoyed our tour with Andres. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and had a wonderful personality. He made sure we were comfortable from the moment we met him at the airport, was able to accommodate all requests, and find the perfect pace/groove for a mixed ability group. Andres spoke great English and had an answer for every question we asked and was also very savvy and helpful with other recommendations and suggestions for activities and restaurants in town. We would highly recommended this tour and Andres to anyone visiting!

Great tour. After taking several planes to get to Baltra airport, it was nice not to be thinking about how to get to the hotel. We also appreciated the amount of time we saved by visiting the space where the giant tortoises live. The guide was amazing. The visit to the tunnel was also very interesting. We really enjoyed the tour.

We had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Ricardo, and our driver Carlos. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond when I misplaced my luggage. He found my missing luggage and waited with me while a currier brought my missing bag. Wonderful experience.

This was a great experience. Love the giant turtles! We also got to see a sink hole and a lava túnel.

The tour driver met me just outside the baggage area; he coordinated the bus and ferry rides and the payments to each (going along with me); this was very appreciated as most folks spoke only Spanish. I thought this was a tour for a small group, but I was the only one. I kind of wanted to blend into the background of a group, but the tour guide was easy to be around. We first stopped at Los Gemelas which is basically two big holes in the ground; but the guide did a good job of explaining it. Next stop was great; the large outdoors area with tortoises all over the place. None of the animals were caged, they were just walking around. I loved this stop. The guide did a great job of offering photos. On to the hotel dropoff. Everything went smooth and this tour made for a very easy transition from the airport to the hotel.

Getting picked up at the airport by a guide was such a nice welcome to a new, magical place! Astrid was so knowledgeable, kind, and a wonderful guide at the tortoise and lava tunnel park. She and the driver drove us from the airport, to the park, and to our hotel. The tortoises were unreal and the whole place felt like straight out of Jurassic Park! We definitely recommend this especially if it’s your first time to the Galapagos!

This was really worth doing! Our guide was waiting for us at the airport with a clearly marked sign with our names. It was then painless to get the bus and then the ferry to the mainland where a private vehicle and separate driver was waiting for us. Our guide knew all of the operators so our luggage was prioritized for the most expedient transfer. Once we were in our private vehicle, our guide shared lots of interesting facts about the Galapagos while we traveling to 2 different spots: a couple of volcano creators and then to ‘El Chato Ranch’ to see giant tortoises and the lava tunnel. This was a VERY entertaining and interesting experience. Finally, we were dropped right outside our hotel so we could check in. It was great not to have to think about getting from the airport to our hotel and we were also entertained along the way. So worth it!!

What an experience to get our Galapagos adventure off to a great start! Thank you Andres for a friendly, professional, and educational experience! I wasn't sure at first if my son and I were going to do this but are so glad we did! Andres was waiting for us at the airport, got us and our bags on the bus, got us on the ferry, and he and his driver took us away to start our adventure stopping at the big crater and off to see the tortoises and lava tunnels. Andres shared his detailed knowledge and love for this very special place. We spent a great time at the tortoise ranch where he showed us so much about these magnificent creatures. Definitely an experience I'm glad I didn't miss. Thanks Andres!

I would not recommend this tour operator because we did not complete one of the activities (visting the Tunel de Lava Bellavista) , as per the tour itinerary. I contacted the tour operator repeatedly after the trip, both via email and WhatsApp, but to no avail.

Great tour. Our guide Jefferson was informative, patient, and accommodating to our family needs. There is no shortage of tortoises to be seen at the ranch. And the food at the ranch was outstanding as well.

Jefferson did such a great job picking us up at the airport on time, helping us with bags, navigating the trip directly to our hotel. Along the way he told us facts about the islands, made an extra stop at a sinkhole, took us to the turtle preserve and made us laugh putting on the turtle shell. After multiple additional tariffs, forms, and hassles getting to the Galapagos, it was very nice to everything taken care of once I was finally allowed in! The guide took care of the bus, the canal across the ferry, and eventually front door service to my hostel. And along the way, it was incredible sites and history to complement the journey. And the tortoise preserve is absolutely incredible!

This is the perfect airport transfer with a tour included that let’s you see many of the sites that are on the way to the city in the highlands of Santa Cruz. Our guide Jefferson Pacheco was excellent! He met us at the airport right outside the baggage claim. If you have never been to GPS airport and don’t know the system, you’ll be glad you book a guide like Jefferson who can guide you through the multi step process everyone must take when flying to the Galapagos. After getting out of the airport, he guided us to the bus (and gave us our tickets) which took us to the canal. Then he guided us onto a bot quickly to get across the canal after which we were in the private van for the remainder of the trip. Having a guide with you helps you avoid the longer public lines and ensures you have someone to help with your bags as you switch from busses to boats to get to Santa Cruz Island. The actual tour is great too. We were able to stop at the ranch to see the giant tortoises out in their natural habitat as well as the lava caves. He also took us to Los Gemelos as a BONUS stop on the way where we were able to see the large crater. At the end of the tour, he gave a tour of the town with recommendations on places to go and eat before dropping us to our hotel. You could tell Jefferson was passionate about his job and wanted to make sure we have the best experience. Highly recommend this tour especially if you are short on time and want to wrap airport transport and tours together.

We had a great experience with Jefferson. Everything was exactly as it was described in the trip derails. Jefferson was very knowledgeable and he went over and beyond in helping us fins additional excursions. I'd highly recommend this tour.

Amazing time, we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming Jefferson. He got us through to the bus, the boat, then a taxi to the tortoise reserve, afterwards, we toured Santa Cruz. Everything was amazing and we were so grateful and comfortable.

Isabella was so knowledgeable and made the trip so fun. We saw a lot of tortoises and had lunch at a beautiful restaurant while watching them. The lava tunnels and sink holes were amazing. I think Isabella knows every single bird and plant.

Please note that on arrival in Baltra you expect a slow process at the airport and that an expensive fee is payable to enter

We had lunch at 3:00 because of the plane. We have water from the dispenser filtered in theory without problem. The tour under the lava tunnel a little disappointing there is only one. Otherwise you can see the turtles walking in the park. Watch out for flight schedules the park closes at 5:30 p.m. Tui wanted to get us on a plane that made us arrive too late. Negotiations had to be held several times.
